تختوں پر بیٹھے دیکھتے ہیں (ف۴۰)
83:35 هَلْ ثُوِّبَ ٱلْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ ٦٣
83:36
Ahmed Ali
Will not the infidels pay for what they had done?
Shakir
Surely the disbelievers are rewarded as they did.

کیوں کچھ بدلا ملا کافروں کو اپنے کیے کا (ف۴۱)
83:36 سورة الإنشقاق
84:1
Ahmed Ali
WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder,
Shakir
When the heaven bursts asunder,
Ahmed Raza Khan
جب آسمان شق ہو (ف۲)
84:1 وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ ٢
84:2
Ahmed Ali
And hearkens to its Lord and is dutiful,
Shakir
And obeys its Lord and it must.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اپنے رب کا حکم سنے (ف۳) اور اسے سزاوار ہی یہ ہے،
84:2 وَإِذَا ٱلْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ ٣
84:3
Ahmed Ali
When the earth is stretched out taut
Shakir
And when the earth is stretched,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور جب زمین دراز کی جائے (ف۴)
84:3 وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ ٤
84:4
Ahmed Ali
And throws out whatever it contains and is empty,
Shakir
And casts forth what is in it and becomes empty,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور جو کچھ اس میں ہے (ف۵) ڈال دے اور خالی ہوجائے،
84:4 وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ ٥
84:5
Ahmed Ali
And hearkens to its Lord and is dutiful,
Shakir
And obeys its Lord and it must.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اپنے رب کا حکم سنے (ف۶) اور اسے سزاوار ہی یہ ہے (ف۷)
84:5 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلَٰقِيهِ ٦
84:6
Ahmed Ali
O man, you have to strive and go on striving towards your Lord, then will you meet Him.
Shakir
O man! surely you must strive (to attain) to your Lord, a hard striving until you meet Him.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اے آدمی! بیشک تجھے اپنے رب کی طرف (ف۸) ضرور دوڑنا ہے پھر اس سے ملنا (ف۹)
84:6 فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ ٧
84:7
Ahmed Ali
And he who is given his ledger in his right hand
Shakir
Then as to him who is given his book in his right hand,
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو وہ وہ اپنا نامہٴ اعمال دہنے ہاتھ میں دیا جائے (ف۱۰)
84:7 فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا ٨
84:8
Ahmed Ali
Will have an easy reckoning,
Shakir
He shall be reckoned with by an easy reckoning,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اس سے عنقریب سہل حساب لیا جائے گا (ف۱۱)
84:8 وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ مَسْرُورًا ٩
84:9
Ahmed Ali
And will return to his people full of joy.
Shakir
And he shall go back to his people joyful.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اپنے گھر والوں کی طرف (ف۱۲) شاد شاد پلٹے گا (ف۱۳)
84:9 وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ وَرَآءَ ظَهْرِهِۦ ٠١
84:10
Ahmed Ali
But he who is given his ledger from behind his back
Shakir
And as to him who is given his book behind his back,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور وہ جس کا نامہٴ اعمال اس کی پیٹھ کے پیچھے دیا جائے (ف۱۴)
84:10 فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُوا۟ ثُبُورًا ١١
84:11
Ahmed Ali
Will pray for death,
Shakir
He shall call for perdition,
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہ عنقریب موت مانگے گا (ف۱۵)
84:11 وَيَصْلَىٰ سَعِيرًا ٢١
84:12
Ahmed Ali
But will be roasted in the fire.
Shakir
And enter into burning fire.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور بھڑکتی ا ٓ گ میں جائے گا،
84:12 إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِىٓ أَهْلِهِۦ مَسْرُورًا ٣١
84:13
Ahmed Ali
He lived rejoicing among his people,
Shakir
Surely he was (erstwhile) joyful among his followers.
Ahmed Raza Khan
بیشک وہ اپنے گھر میں (ف۱۶) خوش تھا (ف۱۷)
84:13 إِنَّهُۥ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن يَحُورَ ٤١
84:14
Ahmed Ali
Never thinking he will return.
Shakir
Surely he thought that he would never return.
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہ سمجھا کہ اسے پھرنا نہیں (ف۱۸)
84:14 بَلَىٰٓ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِيرًا ٥١
84:15
Ahmed Ali
Why not? His Lord was always watching him.
Shakir
Yea! surely his Lord does ever see him.
Ahmed Raza Khan
ہاں کیوں نہیں (ف۱۹) بیشک اس کا رب اسے دیکھ رہا ہے،
84:15 فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلشَّفَقِ ٦١
84:16
Ahmed Ali
So indeed I call to witness the evening twilight,
Shakir
But nay! I swear by the sunset redness,
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو مجھے قسم ہے شام کے اجالے کی (ف۲۰)
84:16 وَٱلَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ ٧١
84:17
Ahmed Ali
And the night and all it gathers,
Shakir
And the night and that which it drives on,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور رات کی اور جو چیزیں اس میں جمع ہوتی ہیں (ف۲۱)
84:17 وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا ٱتَّسَقَ ٨١
84:18
Ahmed Ali
And the moon when at the full,
Shakir
And the moon when it grows full,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور چاند کی جب پورا ہو (ف۲۲)
84:18 لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقٍ ٩١
84:19
Ahmed Ali
That you will climb from stage to stage.
Shakir
That you shall most certainly enter one state after another.
Ahmed Raza Khan
ضرور تم منزل بہ منزل چڑھو گے (ف۲۳)
84:19 فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ٠٢
84:20
Ahmed Ali
So, wherefore do they not believe?
Shakir
But what is the matter with them that they do not believe,
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو کیا ہوا انہیں ایمان نہیں لاتے (ف۲۴)
84:20 وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَ۩ ١٢
84:21
Ahmed Ali
And when the Qur´an is recited to them do not bow in adoration?
Shakir
And when the Quran is recited to them they do not make obeisance?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور جب قرآن پڑھا جائے سجدہ نہیں کرتے (ف۲۵) السجدة ۔۱۳
84:21 بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُكَذِّبُونَ ٢٢
84:22
Ahmed Ali
In fact the unbelievers disavow.
Shakir
Nay! those who disbelieve give the lie to the truth.
Ahmed Raza Khan
بلکہ کافر جھٹلا رہے ہیں (ف۲۶)
84:22 وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ ٣٢
84:23
Ahmed Ali
But God knows what they harbour in their breasts.
Shakir
And Allah knows best what they hide,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اللہ خوب جانتا ہے جو اپنے جی میں رکھتے ہیں (ف۲۷)
84:23 فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ ٤٢
84:24
Ahmed Ali
So give them news of painful punishment,
Shakir
So announce to them a painful punishment~
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو تم انہیں دردناک عذاب کی بشارت دو (ف۲۸)
84:24 إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۭ ٥٢
84:25
Ahmed Ali
Except those who believe and do the right: For them there is reward unending.
Shakir
Except those who believe and do good; for them is a reward that shall never be cut off.
Ahmed Raza Khan
مگر جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کیے ان کے لیے وہ ثواب ہے جو کبھی ختم نہ ہوگا،
84:25

85:1
Ahmed Ali
I CALL TO witness the sky (bespangled) with the signs of the Zodiac,
Shakir
I swear by the mansions of the stars,
Ahmed Raza Khan
قسم آسمان کی، جس میں برج ہیں (ف۲)
85:1 وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْمَوْعُودِ ٢
85:2
Ahmed Ali
And the promised day,
Shakir
And the promised day,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اس دن کی جس کا وعدہ ہے (ف۳)
85:2 وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ ٣
85:3
Ahmed Ali
And the witness and the witnessed,
Shakir
And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اس دن کی جو گواہ ہے (ف۴) اور اس دن کی جس میں حاضر ہوتے ہیں (ف۵)
85:3 قُتِلَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْأُخْدُودِ ٤
85:4
Ahmed Ali
That accursed are the men of the trench
Shakir
Cursed be the makers of the pit,
Ahmed Raza Khan
کھائی والوں پر لعنت ہو (ف۶)
85:4 ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلْوَقُودِ ٥
85:5
Ahmed Ali
Full of fire fed by faggots,
Shakir
Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اس بھڑکتی آ گ والے،
85:5 إِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌ ٦
85:6
Ahmed Ali
As they sat around it
Shakir
When they sat by it,
Ahmed Raza Khan
جب وہ اس کے کناروں پر بیٹھے تھے (ف۷)
85:6 وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ ٧
85:7
Ahmed Ali
Witnessing what they had done to the believers!
Shakir
And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور وه خد گواه ہیں جو کہ مسلما نوں کے ساتھ کر رہے تھے (ف۸)
85:7 وَمَا نَقَمُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ ٨
85:8
Ahmed Ali
They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise,
Shakir
And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور انھیں مسلمانوں کا کیا برا لگا یہی نہ کے وہ ایمان لا ئے اللہ والے سب خو بیوں سرا ہے پر،
85:8 ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ شَهِيدٌ ٩
85:9
Ahmed Ali
Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything.
Shakir
Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کے اس کے لئے آسمانوں اور زمین کی سلطنت ہے اور اللہ ہر چیز پر گواه ہے،
85:9 إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا۟ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا۟ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ ٱلْحَرِيقِ ٠١
85:10
Ahmed Ali
Surely for those who persecute believers, men and women, and do not repent afterwards, is the punishment of Hell, and the punishment of burning.
Shakir
Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning.
Ahmed Raza Khan
بے شک جنھو ں نے ایذا دی مسلمان مردوں اور مسلمان عورتوں کو پھر تو بہ نہ کی ان کے لئے جہنم کا عذاب ہے (ف۱۱) اور ان کے لئے آگ کا عذاب (ف۱۲)
85:10 إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ ١١
85:11
Ahmed Ali
Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success.
Shakir
Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement.
Ahmed Raza Khan
بے شک جو ایما ن لائے اور اچھے کام کئے ان کے لئے باغ ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں رواں یہی بڑی کامیابی ہے،
85:11 إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ ٢١
85:12
Ahmed Ali
The grip of your Lord is severe indeed!
Shakir
Surely the might of your Lord is great.
Ahmed Raza Khan
بے شک تیرے رب کی گرفت بہت سخت ہے (ف۱۳)
85:12 إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ ٣١
85:13
Ahmed Ali
It is verily He who initiates and repeats.
Shakir
Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces,
Ahmed Raza Khan
بے شک وه پہلے اور پھر کرے (ف۱۴)
85:13 وَهُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلْوَدُودُ ٤١
85:14
Ahmed Ali
He is the forgiving and the loving,
Shakir
And He is the Forgiving, the Loving,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور وہی ہے بخشنے والا اپنے نیک بندوں پر پیارا،
85:14 ذُو ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْمَجِيدُ ٥١
85:15
Ahmed Ali
The Lord of the glorious Throne,
Shakir
Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious,
Ahmed Raza Khan
عزت والے عرش کا مالک،
85:15 فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ ٦١
85:16
Ahmed Ali
Who does as He pleases.
Shakir
The great doer of what He will.
Ahmed Raza Khan
ہمیشہ جو چاہے کہ لینے والا،
85:16 هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْجُنُودِ ٧١
85:17
Ahmed Ali
Has the story of the hordes
Shakir
Has not there come to you the story of the hosts,
Ahmed Raza Khan
کیا تمھارے پاس لشکروں کے بات آئی (ف۱۵)
85:17 فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ ٨١
85:18
Ahmed Ali
Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you?
Shakir
Of Firon and Samood?
Ahmed Raza Khan
وه لشکر کون فرعون اور ثمود (ف۱۶)
85:18 بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى تَكْذِيبٍ ٩١
85:19
Ahmed Ali
Yet the infidels persist in denial.
Shakir
Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth.
Ahmed Raza Khan
بلکہ (ف۱۷) کافر جھٹلا نے میں ہیں (ف۱۸)
85:19 وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطٌۢ ٠٢
85:20
Ahmed Ali
But God surrounds them from all sides.
Shakir
And Allah encompasses them on every side.

اور اللہ ان کے پیچھے سے انھیں گھیرے ہوئے ہے (ف۱۹)
85:20 بَلْ هُوَ قُرْءَانٌ مَّجِيدٌ ١٢
85:21
Ahmed Ali
This is indeed the glorious Qur´an
Shakir
Nay! it is a glorious Quran,

بلکہ وه کمال شرف والا قران ہے،
85:21 فِى لَوْحٍ مَّحْفُوظٍۭ ٢٢

Ahmed Ali
(Preserved) on the guarded tablet.
Shakir
In a guarded tablet.
