سورة الإنفطار
82:1
Ahmed Ali
WHEN THE SKY is split asunder,
Shakir
When the heaven becomes cleft asunder,
Ahmed Raza Khan
جب آسمان پھٹ پڑے،
82:1 وَإِذَا ٱلْكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتْ ٢
82:2
Ahmed Ali
And the stars dispersed,
Shakir
And when the stars become dispersed,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور جب تارے جھڑ پڑیں،
82:2 وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ ٣
82:3
Ahmed Ali
When the oceans begin to flow,
Shakir
And when the seas are made to flow forth,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور جب سمندر بہادیے جائیں (ف۲)
82:3 وَإِذَا ٱلْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ ٤
82:4
Ahmed Ali
When the graves are overturned,
Shakir
And when the graves are laid open,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور جب قبریں کریدی جائیں (ف۳)
82:4 عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ ٥
82:5
Ahmed Ali
Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind.
Shakir
Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back.
Ahmed Raza Khan
ہر جان، جان لے گی جو اس نے آگے بھیجا (ف۴) اور جو پیچھے (ف۵)
82:5 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلْكَرِيمِ ٦
82:6
Ahmed Ali
O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord
Shakir
O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اے آدمی! تجھے کس چیز نے فریب دیا اپنے کرم والے رب سے (ف۶)
82:6 ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ ٧
82:7
Ahmed Ali
Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion,
Shakir
Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical?
Ahmed Raza Khan
جس نے تجھے پیدا کیا (ف۷) پھر ٹھیک بنایا (ف۸) پھر ہموار فرمایا (ف۹)
82:7 فِىٓ أَىِّ صُورَةٍ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ ٨
82:8
Ahmed Ali
Shaping you into any form He pleased?
Shakir
Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you.
Ahmed Raza Khan
جس صورت میں چاہا تجھے ترکیب دیا (ف۱۰)
82:8 كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱلدِّينِ ٩
82:9
Ahmed Ali
Even then you deny the Judgement.
Shakir
Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day,
Ahmed Raza Khan
کوئی نہیں (ف۱۱) بلکہ تم انصاف ہونے کو جھٹلانتے ہو (ف۱۲)
82:9 وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَٰفِظِينَ ٠١
82:10
Ahmed Ali
Surely there are guardians over you,
Shakir
And most surely there are keepers over you
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور بیشک تم پر کچھ نگہبان ہیں (ف۱۳)
82:10 كِرَامًا كَٰتِبِينَ ١١
82:11
Ahmed Ali
Illustrious scribes
Shakir
Honorable recorders,
Ahmed Raza Khan
معزز لکھنے والے (ف۱۴)
82:11 يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ ٢١
82:12
Ahmed Ali
Who know what you do.
Shakir
They know what you do.
Ahmed Raza Khan
جانتے ہیں جو کچھ تم کرو (ف۱۵)
82:12 إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍ ٣١
82:13
Ahmed Ali
The pious will surely be in heaven,
Shakir
Most surely the righteous are in bliss,
Ahmed Raza Khan
بیشک نِکو کار (ف۱۶) ضرور چین میں ہیں (ف۱۷)
82:13 وَإِنَّ ٱلْفُجَّارَ لَفِى جَحِيمٍ ٤١
82:14
Ahmed Ali
The wicked certainly in Hell:
Shakir
And most surely the wicked are in burning fire,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور بیشک بدکار (ف۱۸) ضرور دوزخ میں ہیں،
82:14 يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ ٥١
82:15
Ahmed Ali
They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement,
Shakir
They shall enter it on the day of judgment.
Ahmed Raza Khan
انصاف کے دن اس میں جائیں گے،
82:15 وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ ٦١
82:16
Ahmed Ali
And will not be removed from it.
Shakir
And they shall by no means be absent from it.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اس سے کہیں چھپ نہ سکیں گے،
82:16 وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ ٧١
82:17
Ahmed Ali
How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is?
Shakir
And what will make you realize what the day of judgement is?

اور تو کیا جانیں کیسا انصاف کا دن،
82:17 ثُمَّ مَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ ٨١
82:18
Ahmed Ali
How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is?
Shakir
Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment Is?

پھر تو کیا جانے کیسا انصاف کا دن،
82:18 يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْـًٔا وَٱلْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّهِ ٩١
82:19
Ahmed Ali
It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God´s alone will be done.
Shakir
The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah´s.

جس دن کوئی جان کسی جان کا کچھ اختیار نہ رکھے گی (ف۱۹) اور سارا حکم اس دن اللہ کا ہے،
82:19 سورة المطففين
83:1
Ahmed Ali
WOE TO THOSE who give short measure,
Shakir
Woe to the defrauders,
Ahmed Raza Khan
کم تولنے والوں کی خرابی ہے،
83:1 ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكْتَالُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَ ٢
83:2
Ahmed Ali
Who insist on being given full when they take from others,
Shakir
Who, when they take the measure (of their dues) from men take it fully,
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہ کہ جب اوروں سے ناپ لیں پورا لیں،
83:2 وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ ٣
83:3
Ahmed Ali
Whilst when they measure or weigh for them, give less.
Shakir
But when they measure out to others or weigh out for them, they are deficient.

اور جب انہیں ناپ تول کردی کم کردیں،
83:3 أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ ٤
83:4
Ahmed Ali
Do they not think they will be raised (to life) again
Shakir
Do not these think that they shall be raised again
Ahmed Raza Khan
کیا ان لوگوں کو گمان نہیں کہ انہیں اٹھنا ہے،
83:4 لِيَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ ٥
83:5
Ahmed Ali
On a grievous day,
Shakir
For a mighty day,
Ahmed Raza Khan
ایک عظمت والے دن کے لیے (ف۲)
83:5 يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ٦
83:6
Ahmed Ali
The day all mankind will stand before the Lord of all the worlds?
Shakir
The day on which men shall stand before the Lord of the worlds?

جس دن سب لوگ (ف۳) رب العالمین کے حضور کھڑے ہوں گے،

Indeed the ledger of the wicked will be in (the lowest depths) Sijjin.

Nay! most surely the record of the wicked is in the Sijjin.

بیشک کافروں کی لکھت (ف۴) سب سے نیچی جگہ سجین میں ہے (ف۵)
83:7 وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٌ ٨
83:8
Ahmed Ali
How will you comprehend what Sijjin is?
Shakir
And what will make you know what the Sijjin is?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور تو کیا جانے سجین کیسی ہے (ف۶)
83:8 كِتَٰبٌ مَّرْقُومٌ ٩
83:9
Ahmed Ali
It is a (repository of) distinctly written record.
Shakir
It is a written book.
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہ لکھت ایک مہر کیا نوشتہ ہے (ف۷)
83:9 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٠١
83:10
Ahmed Ali
Ah the woe that day for those who deny,
Shakir
Woe on that day to the rejecters,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اس دن (ف۸) جھٹلانے والوں کی خرابی ہے،
83:10 ٱلَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ ١١
83:11
Ahmed Ali
Who call the Day of judgement a lie!
Shakir
Who give the lie to the day of judgment.
Ahmed Raza Khan
جو انصاف کے دن کو جھٹلاتے ہیں (ف۹)
83:11 وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ ٢١
83:12
Ahmed Ali
None denies it but the sinful transgressors.
Shakir
And none gives the lie to it but every exceeder of limits, sinful one

اور اسے نہ جھٹلائے گا مگر ہر سرکش (ف۱۰)
83:12 إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ٣١
83:13
Ahmed Ali
When Our revelations are recited before him, he says: "These are fables of long ago."
Shakir
When Our communications are recited to him, he says: Stories of those of yore.
Ahmed Raza Khan
جب اس پر ہماری آیتیں پڑھی جائیں کہے (ف۱۱) اگلوں کی کہانیاں ہیں،
83:13 كَلَّا بَلْ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ ٤١
83:14
Ahmed Ali
No. In fact what they have been doing has rusted their hearts.
Shakir
Nay! rather, what they used to do has become like rust upon their hearts.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کوئی نہیں (ف۱۲) بلکہ ان کے دلوں پر زنگ چڑھادیا ہے ان کی کمائیوں نے (ف۱۳)
83:14 كَلَّآ إِنَّهُمْ عَن رَّبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ ٥١
83:15
Ahmed Ali
Therefore they will be screened off from their Lord that day,
Shakir
Nay! most surely they shall on that day be debarred from their Lord.
Ahmed Raza Khan
ہاں ہاں بیشک وہ اس دن (ف۱۴) اپنے رب کے دیدار سے محروم ہیں (ف۱۵)
83:15 ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُوا۟ ٱلْجَحِيمِ ٦١
83:16
Ahmed Ali
Then they will indeed burn in Hell.
Shakir
Then most surely they shall enter the burning fire.
Ahmed Raza Khan
پھر بیشک انہیں جہنم میں داخل ہونا،
83:16 ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ ٧١
83:17
Ahmed Ali
They will then be told: "This is what you had denied."
Shakir
Then shall it be said: This is what you gave the lie to.
Ahmed Raza Khan
پھر کہا جائے گا، یہ ہے وہ (ف۱۶) جسے تم جھٹلاتے تھے (ف۱۷)
83:17 كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلْأَبْرَارِ لَفِى عِلِّيِّينَ ٨١
83:18
Ahmed Ali
Surely the ledger of the pious will be in ´Illiyun (heights above the heights).
Shakir
Nay! Most surely the record of the righteous shall be in the Iliyin.

ہاں ہاں بیشک نیکوں کی لکھت (ف۱۸) سب سے اونچا محل علیین میں ہے (ف۱۹)
83:18 وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ ٩١
83:19
Ahmed Ali
But how will you comprehend what ´Illiyun is?
Shakir
And what will make you know what the highest Iliyin is?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور تو کیا جانے علیین کیسی ہے (ف۲۰)
83:19 كِتَٰبٌ مَّرْقُومٌ ٠٢
83:20
Ahmed Ali
It is a (repository of) distinctly written record
Shakir
It is a written book,
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہ لکھت ایک مہر کیا نوشتہ ہے (ف۲۱)
83:20 يَشْهَدُهُ ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ ١٢
83:21
Ahmed Ali
Witnessed by those who are honoured.
Shakir
Those who are drawn near (to Allah) shall witness it.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کہ مقرب (ف۲۲) جس کی زیارت کرتے ہیں،
83:21 إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍ ٢٢
83:22
Ahmed Ali
Verily the pious will be in heaven,
Shakir
Most surely the righteous shall be in bliss,
Ahmed Raza Khan
بیشک نیکوکار ضرور چین میں ہیں،
83:22 عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ ٣٢
83:23
Ahmed Ali
On couches face to face.
Shakir
On thrones, they shall gaze;
Ahmed Raza Khan
تختوں پر دیکھتے ہیں (ف۲۳)
83:23 تَعْرِفُ فِى وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ٤٢
83:24
Ahmed Ali
On their faces you will see the glow of beatitude.
Shakir
You will recognize in their faces the brightness of bliss.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو ان کے چہروں میں چین کی تازگی پہنچانے (ف۲۴)
83:24 يُسْقَوْنَ مِن رَّحِيقٍ مَّخْتُومٍ ٥٢
83:25
Ahmed Ali
They will be served the choicest wine, sealed
Shakir
They are made to quaff of a pure drink that is sealed (to others).
Ahmed Raza Khan
نتھری شراب پلائے جائیں گے جو مہُر کی ہوئی رکھی ہے (ف۲۵)
83:25 خِتَٰمُهُۥ مِسْكٌ وَفِى ذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلْمُتَنَٰفِسُونَ ٦٢
83:26
Ahmed Ali
With a sealing of musk, which those who aspire for the best should desire, --
Shakir
The sealing of it is (with) musk; and for that let the aspirers aspire.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اس کی مہُر مشک پر ہے، اور اسی پر چاہیے کہ للچائیں للچانے والے (ف۲۶)
83:26 وَمِزَاجُهُۥ مِن تَسْنِيمٍ ٧٢
83:27
Ahmed Ali
Blended with the water of Tasnim, (heights ultimate of evolution),
Shakir
And the admixture of it is a water of Tasnim,

اور اس کی ملونی تسنیم سے ہے (ف۲۷)
83:27 عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ ٨٢
83:28
Ahmed Ali
A fountain from which only they who are honoured drink.
Shakir
A fountain from which drink they who are drawn near (to Allah).
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہ چشمہ جس سے مقربانِ بارگاہ پیتے ہیں (ف۲۸)
83:28 إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا۟ كَانُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ يَضْحَكُونَ ٩٢
83:29
Ahmed Ali
The sinners indeed laughed at believers
Shakir
Surely they who are guilty used to laugh at those who believe.
Ahmed Raza Khan
بیشک مجرم لوگ (ف۲۹) ایمان والوں سے (ف۳۰) ہنسا کرتے تھے،
83:29 وَإِذَا مَرُّوا۟ بِهِمْ يَتَغَامَزُونَ ٠٣
83:30
Ahmed Ali
And winked at one another as they passed by them;
Shakir
And when they passed by them, they winked at one another.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور جب وہ (ف۳۱) ان پر گزرتے تو یہ آپس میں ان پر آنکھوں سے اشارے کرتے (ف۳۲)
83:30 وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُوا۟ فَكِهِينَ ١٣
83:31
Ahmed Ali
And when they went back to their people turned to make fun of them;
Shakir
And when they returned to their own followers they returned exulting.

اور جب (ف۹۳۳ اپنے گھر پلٹتے خوشیاں کرتے پلٹتے (ف۳۴)
83:31 وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُمْ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّونَ ٢٣
83:32
Ahmed Ali
And when they saw them, they said: "They have indeed gone astray."
Shakir
And when they saw them, they said: Most surely these are in error;
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور جب مسلمانوں کو دیکھتے کہتے بیشک یہ لوگ بہکے ہوئے ہیں (ف۳۵)
83:32 وَمَآ أُرْسِلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ حَٰفِظِينَ ٣٣
83:33
Ahmed Ali
But they were not Sent to be guardians over them!
Shakir
And they were not sent to be keepers over them.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور یہ (ف۳۶) کچھ ان پر نگہبان بناکر نہ بھیجے گئے (ف۳۷)
83:33 فَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَ ٤٣
83:34
Ahmed Ali
So, the believers will laugh at the infidels on that day,
Shakir
So today those who believe shall laugh at the unbelievers;

تو آج (ف۳۸) ایمان والے کافروں سے ہنستے ہیں (ف۳۹)
