سورة الملك
67:1
Ahmed Ali
BLESSED BE HE who holds the (reins of) Kingship in His hand, who has power over everything,
Shakir
Blessed is He in Whose hand is the kingdom, and He has power over all things,
Ahmed Raza Khan
بڑی برکت والا ہے وہ جس کے قبضہ میں سارا ملک (ف۲) اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے،
67:1 ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْمَوْتَ وَٱلْحَيَوٰةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٢
67:2
Ahmed Ali
Who created death and life in order to try you to see who of you are best of deed. He is all-mighty and forgiving,
Shakir
Who created death and life that He may try you-- which of you is best in deeds; and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving,
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہ جس نے موت اور زندگی پیدا کی کہ تمہاری جانچ ہو (ف۳) تم میں کس کا کام زیادہ اچھا ہے (ف۴) اور وہی عزت والا بخشش والا ہے،
67:2 ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمَٰوَٰتٍ طِبَاقًا مَّا تَرَىٰ فِى خَلْقِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ مِن تَفَٰوُتٍ فَٱرْجِعِ ٱلْبَصَرَ هَلْ تَرَىٰ مِن فُطُورٍ ٣
67:3
Ahmed Ali
Who created the seven skies one above the other. Do you see any disproportion in the creations of Ar-Rahman? Turn your eyes again. Do you see any fissures?
Shakir
Who created the seven heavens one above another; you see no incongruity in the creation of the Beneficent Allah; then look again, can you see any disorder?
Ahmed Raza Khan
جس نے سات آسمان بنائے ایک کے اوپر دوسرا، تو رحمٰن کے بنانے میں کیا فرق دیکھتا ہے (ف۵) تو نگاہ اٹھا کر دیکھ (ف۶) تجھے کوئی رخنہ نظر آتا ہے،
67:3 ثُمَّ ٱرْجِعِ ٱلْبَصَرَ كَرَّتَيْنِ يَنقَلِبْ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْبَصَرُ خَاسِئًا وَهُوَ حَسِيرٌ ٤
67:4
Ahmed Ali
Turn your eyes again and again. Your gaze turns back dazed and tired.
Shakir
Then turn back the eye again and again; your look shall come back to you confused while it is fatigued.
Ahmed Raza Khan
پھر دوبارہ نگاہ اٹھا (ف۷) نظر تیری طرف ناکام پلٹ آئے گی تھکی ماندی (ف۸)
67:4 وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِمَصَٰبِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَٰهَا رُجُومًا لِّلشَّيَٰطِينِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلسَّعِيرِ ٥
67:5
Ahmed Ali
We have adorned the lowest sky with lamps, and made them missiles against the devils, for whom We have prepared a torment of most intense fire.
Shakir
And certainly We have adorned this lower heaven with lamps and We have made these missiles for the Shaitans, and We have prepared for them the chastisement of burning.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور بیشک ہم نے نیچے کے آسمان کو (ف۹) چراغوں سے آراستہ کیا (ف۱۰) اور انہیں شیطانوں کے لیے مار کیا (ف۱۱) اور ان کے لیے (ف۱۲) بھڑکتی آگ کا عذاب تیار فرمایا (ف۱۳)
67:5 وَلِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ ٦
67:6
Ahmed Ali
For those who believe not in their Lord there is the punishment of Hell; and what a wretched destination
Shakir
And for those who disbelieve in their Lord is the punishment of hell, and evil is the resort.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور جنہوں نے اپنے رب کے ساتھ کفر کیا (ف۱۴) ان کے لیے جہنم کا عذاب ہے، اور کیا ہی برا انجام،
67:6 إِذَآ أُلْقُوا۟ فِيهَا سَمِعُوا۟ لَهَا شَهِيقًا وَهِىَ تَفُورُ ٧
67:7
Ahmed Ali
When they are cast into it, they will hear it roar and raging
Shakir
When they shall be cast therein, they shall hear a loud moaning of it as it heaves,
Ahmed Raza Khan
جب اس میں ڈالے جائیں گے اس کا رینکنا (چنگھاڑنا) سنیں گے کہ جوش مارتی ہے
67:7 تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ ٱلْغَيْظِ كُلَّمَآ أُلْقِىَ فِيهَا فَوْجٌ سَأَلَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَذِيرٌ ٨
67:8
Ahmed Ali
As though it would burst with fury. Every time a crowd is thrown into it, its wardens will ask: "Did no warner come to you?"
Shakir
Almost bursting for fury. Whenever a group is cast into it, its keeper shall ask them: Did there not come to you a warner?
Ahmed Raza Khan
معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ شدت غضب میں پھٹ جائے گی، جب کبھی کوئی گروہ اس میں ڈالا جائے گا اس کے داروغہ (ف۱۵) ان سے پوچھیں گے کیا تمہارے پاس کوئی ڈر سنانے والا نہ آیا تھا (ف۱۶)
67:8 قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ قَدْ جَآءَنَا نَذِيرٌ فَكَذَّبْنَا وَقُلْنَا مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍ كَبِيرٍ ٩
67:9
Ahmed Ali
And they will answer: "Surely; a warner came to us, but we denied him, and said: ´God did not send down any thing; you are greatly deluded, in fact.´"
Shakir
They shall say: Yea! indeed there came to us a warner, but we rejected (him) and said: Allah has not revealed anything, you are only in a great error.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کہیں گے کیوں نہیں بیشک ہمارے پاس ڈر سنانے والے تشریف لائے (ف۱۷) پھر ہم نے جھٹلایا اور کہا اللہ نے کچھ نہیں اُتارا، تم تو نہیں مگر بڑی گمراہی میں،
67:9 وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ أَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِىٓ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ ٠١
67:10
Ahmed Ali
They will say: "If we had listened and been wise, we would not have been among the inmates of Hell."
Shakir
And they shall say: Had we but listened or pondered, we should not have been among the inmates of the burning fire.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور کہیں گے اگر ہم سنتے یا سمجھتے (ف۱۸) تو دوزخ والوں میں نہ ہوتے،
67:10 فَٱعْتَرَفُوا۟ بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسُحْقًا لِّأَصْحَٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ ١١
67:11
Ahmed Ali
So will they confess their guilt. Deprived (of all joys) will be the inmates of Hell.
Shakir
So they shall acknowledge their sins, but far will be (forgiveness) from the inmates of the burning fire.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اب اپنے گناہ کا اقرار کیا (ف۱۹) تو پھٹکار ہو دوزخیوں کو،
67:11 إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلْغَيْبِ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ ٢١
67:12
Ahmed Ali
For those who fear their Lord in secret is forgiveness and a great reward.
Shakir
(As for) those who fear their Lord in secret, they shall surely have forgiveness and a great reward.
Ahmed Raza Khan
بیشک جو بے دیکھے اپنے رب سے ڈرتے ہیں (ف۲۰) ان کے لیے بخشش اور بڑا ثواب ہے (ف۲۱)
67:12

Ahmed Ali
Whether you say a thing secretly or openly, He knows the innermost secrets of your hearts.
Shakir
And conceal your word or manifest it; surely He is Cognizant of what is in the hearts.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور تم اپنی بات آہستہ کہو یا آواز سے، وہ تو دلوں کی جانتا ہے (ف۲۲)
67:13 أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ ٤١
67:14
Ahmed Ali
Can He who has created not know (His creation)? He is all-penetrating, all-aware.
Shakir
Does He not know, Who created? And He is the Knower of the subtleties, the Aware.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کیا وہ نہ جانے جس نے پیدا کیا؟ (ف۲۳) اور وہی ہے ہر باریکی جانتا خبردار،
67:14 هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ ذَلُولًا فَٱمْشُوا۟ فِى مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوا۟ مِن رِّزْقِهِۦ وَإِلَيْهِ ٱلنُّشُورُ ٥١
67:15
Ahmed Ali
It is lie who made the earth subservient to you that you may travel all around it, and eat of things He has provided; and to Him will be your resurrection.
Shakir
He it is Who made the earth smooth for you, therefore go about in the spacious sides thereof, and eat of His sustenance, and to Him is the return after death.
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہی ہے جس نے تمہارے لیے زمین رام (تابع) کر دی تو اس کے رستوں میں چلو اور اللہ کی روزی میں سے کھاؤ (ف۲۴) اور اسی کی طرف اٹھنا ہے (ف۲۵)
67:15 ءَأَمِنتُم مَّن فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يَخْسِفَ بِكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَمُورُ ٦١
67:16
Ahmed Ali
Are you so unafraid that He who is in Heaven will not open up the earth to swallow you, when it will begin to tremble?
Shakir
Are you secure of those in the heaven that He should not make the earth to swallow you up? Then lo! it shall be in a state of commotion.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کیا تم اس سےنڈر ہوگئے جس کی سلطنت آسمان میں ہے کہ تمہیں زمین میں دھنسادے (ف۲۶) جبھی وہ کانپتی رہے (ف۲۷)
67:16 أَمْ أَمِنتُم مَّن فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِبًا فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ كَيْفَ نَذِيرِ ٧١
67:17
Ahmed Ali
Or have you become so unafraid that He who is in Heaven will not send a violent wind to shower stones at you? Then you will know the import of My commination!
Shakir
Or are you secure of those in the heaven that He should not send down upon you a punishment? Then shall you know how was My warning.
Ahmed Raza Khan
یا تم نڈر ہوگئے اس سے جس کی سلطنت آسمان میں ہے کہ تم پر پتھراؤ بھیجے (ف۲۸) تو اب جانو گے (ف۲۹) کیسا تھا میرا ڈرانا،
67:17 وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ ٨١
67:18
Ahmed Ali
Those before them had also denied. And how was My punishment then!
Shakir
And certainly those before them rejected (the truth), then how was My disapproval.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور بیشک ان سے اگلوں نے جھٹلایا (ف۳۰) تو کیسا ہوا میرا انکار (ف۳۱)
67:18 أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ إِلَى ٱلطَّيْرِ فَوْقَهُمْ صَٰٓفَّٰتٍ وَيَقْبِضْنَ مَا يُمْسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ إِنَّهُۥ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍۭ بَصِيرٌ ٩١
67:19
Ahmed Ali
Do they not see the birds above them flying wings spread out or folded? Nothing holds them aloft but God. All things are within His purview.
Shakir
Have they not seen the birds above them expanding (their wings) and contracting (them)? What is it that withholds them save the Beneficent Allah? Surely He sees everything.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور کیا انہوں نے اپنے اوپر پرندے نہ دیکھے پر پھیلاتے (ف۳۲) اور سمیٹتے انہیں کوئی نہیں روکتا (ف۳۳) سوا رحمٰن کے (ف۳۴) بیشک وہ سب کچھ دیکھتا ہے،
67:19 أَمَّنْ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى هُوَ جُندٌ لَّكُمْ يَنصُرُكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ إِنِ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ إِلَّا فِى غُرُورٍ ٠٢
67:20
Ahmed Ali
What other army do you have to help you apart from Ar-Rahman? The unbelievers are surely lost in delusion.
Shakir
Or who is it that will be a host for you to assist you besides the Beneficent Allah? The unbelievers are only in deception.
Ahmed Raza Khan
یا وہ کونسا تمہارا لشکر ہے کہ رحمٰن کے مقابل تمہاری مدد کرے (ف۳۵) کافر نہیں مگر دھوکے میں (ف۳۶)
67:20 أَمَّنْ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى يَرْزُقُكُمْ إِنْ أَمْسَكَ رِزْقَهُۥ بَل لَّجُّوا۟ فِى عُتُوٍّ وَنُفُورٍ ١٢
67:21
Ahmed Ali
Who is there to give you food in case He withholds His bounty? Yet they persist in rebellion and aversion.
Shakir
Or who is it that will give you sustenance if He should withhold His sustenance? Nay! they persist in disdain and aversion.
Ahmed Raza Khan
یا کونسا ایسا ہے جو تمہیں روزی دے اگر وہ اپنی روزی روک لے (ف۳۷) بلکہ وہ سرکش اور نفرت میں ڈھیٹ بنے ہوئے ہیں (ف۳۸)
67:21 أَفَمَن يَمْشِى مُكِبًّا عَلَىٰ وَجْهِهِۦٓ أَهْدَىٰٓ أَمَّن يَمْشِى سَوِيًّا عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ ٢٢
67:22
Ahmed Ali
Will he find the way who grovels flat on his face, or he who walks straight on the right path?
Shakir
What! is he who goes prone upon his face better guided or he who walks upright upon a straight path?
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو کیا وہ جو اپنے منہ کے بل اوندھا چلے (ف۳۹) زیادہ راہ پر ہے یا وہ جو سیدھا چلے (ف۴۰) سیدھی راہ پر (ف۴۱)
67:22 قُلْ هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَكُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ ٣٢
67:23
Ahmed Ali
Say: "It is He who raised you and gave you ears and eyes and hearts. How little are the thanks you offer!"
Shakir
Say: He it is Who brought you into being and made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts: little is it that you give thanks.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تم فرماؤ (ف۴۲) وہی ہے جس نے تمہیں پیدا کیا اور تمہارے لیے کان اور آنکھ اور دل بنائے (ف۴۳) کتنا کم حق مانتے ہو (ف۴۴)
67:23 قُلْ هُوَ ٱلَّذِى ذَرَأَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ ٤٢
67:24
Ahmed Ali
Say: "It is He who dispersed you all over the earth, and to Him you will be gathered."
Shakir
Say: He it is Who multiplied you in the earth and to Him you shall be gathered.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تم فرماؤ وہی ہے جس نے تمہیں زمین میں پھیلایا اور اسی کی طرف اٹھائے جاؤ گے (ف۴۵)
67:24 وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ ٥٢
67:25
Ahmed Ali
But they say: "When will this promise come to pass, if what you say is true?"
Shakir
And they say: When shall this threat be (executed) if you are truthful?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور کہتے ہیں (ف۴۶) یہ وعدہ (ف۴۷) کب آئے گا اگر تم سچے ہو،
67:25 قُلْ إِنَّمَا ٱلْعِلْمُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَإِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ ٦٢
67:26
Ahmed Ali
Say: "God alone has knowledge. My duty is only to warn you clearly."
Shakir
Say: The knowledge (thereof is only with Allah and I am only a plain warner.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تم فرماؤ یہ علم تو اللہ کے پاس ہے، اور میں تو یہی صاف ڈر سنانے والا ہوں (ف۴۸)
67:26
