سورة التحريم
66:1
Ahmed Ali
O PROPHET, WHY should you forbid (yourself) what God has made lawful for you, in order to please your wives? Yet God is forgiving and kind.
Shakir
O Prophet! why do you forbid (yourself) that which Allah has made lawful for you; you seek to please your wives; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اے غیب بتا نے والے (نبی) تم اپنے اوپر کیوں حرام کئے لیتے ہو وه چیز جو اللہ نے تمھارے لئے حلال کی (ف۲) اپنی بیبیوں کی مرضی چاہتے ہو اور اللہ بخشنے والا ٴ مہربان ہے،
66:1 قَدْ فَرَضَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ تَحِلَّةَ أَيْمَٰنِكُمْ وَٱللَّهُ مَوْلَىٰكُمْ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٢
66:2
Ahmed Ali
Surely God has sanctioned the dissolution of your vows. God is your Lord: He is all-knowing, and all-wise.
Shakir
Allah indeed has sanctioned for you the expiation of your oaths and Allah is your Protector, and He is the Knowing the Wise.
Ahmed Raza Khan
بیشک اللہ نے تمہارے لیے تمہاری قسموں کا اتار مقرر فرمادیا (ف۳) اور اللہ تمہارا مولیٰ ہے، اور اللہ علم و حکمت والا ہے،
66:2 وَإِذْ أَسَرَّ ٱلنَّبِىُّ إِلَىٰ بَعْضِ أَزْوَٰجِهِۦ حَدِيثًا فَلَمَّا نَبَّأَتْ بِهِۦ وَأَظْهَرَهُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَرَّفَ بَعْضَهُۥ وَأَعْرَضَ عَنۢ بَعْضٍ فَلَمَّا نَبَّأَهَا بِهِۦ قَالَتْ مَنْ أَنۢبَأَكَ هَٰذَا قَالَ نَبَّأَنِىَ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ ٣
66:3
Ahmed Ali
When the Prophet told one of his wives something in confidence and she disclosed it, God revealed this to him. So he made some of it known to her, and held back some. When, however, he informed her about it, she asked: "Who told you this?" He said: "I was told this by the All-knowing, All-Informed."
Shakir
And when the prophet secretly communicated a piece of information to one of his wives-- but when she informed (others) of it, and Allah made him to know it, he made known part of it and avoided part; so when he informed her of it, she said: Who informed you of this? He said: The Knowing, the one Aware, informed me.

اور جب نبی نے اپنی ایک بی بی (ف۴) سے ایک راز کی بات فرمائی (ف۵) پھر جب وہ (ف۶) اس کا ذکر کر بیٹھی اور اللہ نے اسے نبی پر ظاہر کردیا تو نبی نے اسے کچھ جتایا اور کچھ سے چشم پوشی فرمائی (ف۷) پھر جب نبی نے اسے اس کی خبر دی بولی (ف۸) حضور کو کس نے بتایا، فرمایا مجھے علم والے خبردار نے بتایا (ف۹)
66:3 إِن تَتُوبَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ فَقَدْ صَغَتْ قُلُوبُكُمَا وَإِن تَظَٰهَرَا عَلَيْهِ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ مَوْلَىٰهُ وَجِبْرِيلُ وَصَٰلِحُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ ظَهِيرٌ ٤
66:4
Ahmed Ali
If both of you two (women) turn to God in penitence (it would be better). Your hearts have been impaired; and if you assist one another against him, then surely his helper is God, and Gabriel and the righteous believers, and, besides them, the angels are his helpers.
Shakir
If you both turn to Allah, then indeed your hearts are already inclined (to this); and if you back up each other against him, then surely Allah it is Who is his Guardian, and Jibreel and -the believers that do good, and the angels after that are the aiders.

نبی کی دونوں بیبیو! اگر اللہ کی طرف تم رجوع کرو تو (ف۱۰) ضرور تمہارے دل راہ سے کچھ ہٹ گئے ہیں (ف۱۱) اور اگر ان پر زور باندھو (ف۱۲) تو بیشک اللہ ان کا مددگار ہے اور جبریل اور نیک ایمان والے، اور اس کے بعد فرشتے مدد پر ہیں،
66:4 عَسَىٰ رَبُّهُۥٓ إِن طَلَّقَكُنَّ أَن يُبْدِلَهُۥٓ أَزْوَٰجًا خَيْرًا مِّنكُنَّ مُسْلِمَٰتٍ مُّؤْمِنَٰتٍ قَٰنِتَٰتٍ تَٰٓئِبَٰتٍ عَٰبِدَٰتٍ سَٰٓئِحَٰتٍ ثَيِّبَٰتٍ وَأَبْكَارًا ٥
66:5
Ahmed Ali
In case he divorces you, his Lord will give him better wives in return, who will be modest, true believers, obedient to God, repentant, observant of prayer and fasting, both widows and virgins.
Shakir
Maybe, his Lord, if he divorce you, will give him in your place wives better than you, submissive, faithful, obedient, penitent, adorers, fasters, widows and virgins.
Ahmed Raza Khan
ان کا رب قریب ہے اگر وہ تمہیں طلاق دے دیں کہ انہیں تم سے بہتر بیبیاں بدل دے اطاعت والیاں ایمان والیاں ادب والیاں (ف۱۳) توبہ والیاں بندگی والیاں (ف۱۴) روزہ داریں بیاہیاں اور کنواریاں (ف۱۵)
66:5 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ قُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا وَقُودُهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلْحِجَارَةُ عَلَيْهَا مَلَٰٓئِكَةٌ غِلَاظٌ شِدَادٌ لَّا يَعْصُونَ ٱللَّهَ مَآ أَمَرَهُمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ ٦
66:6
Ahmed Ali
O you who believe, save yourselves and your families from the Fire whose fuel is men and rocks, over which are appointed angels stern and severe as wardens who never disobey what God commands them, and do what they are commanded;
Shakir
O you who believe! save yourselves and your families from a fire whose fuel is men and stones; over it are angels stern and strong, they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them, and do as they are commanded.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اے ایمان والو! اپنی جانوں اور اپنے گھر والوں کو آگ سے بچاؤ (ف۱۶) جس کے ایندھن آدمی (ف۱۷) اور پتھر ہیں (ف۱۸) اس پر سخت کرّے (طاقتور) فرشتے مقرر ہیں (ف۱۹) جو اللہ کا حکم نہیں ٹالتے اور جو انہیں حکم ہو وہی کرتے ہیں (ف۲۰)
66:6 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ٧
66:7
Ahmed Ali
(And say:) "O you who do not believe, make no excuses today. You will be requited only for what you had done."
Shakir
O you who disbelieve! do not urge excuses today; you shall be rewarded only according to what you did.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اے کافرو! آج بہانے نہ بناؤ (ف۲۱) تمہیں وہی بدلہ ملے گا جو تم کرتے تھے،
66:7

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
ٱلَّذِينَ
ءَامَنُوا۟
تُوبُوٓا۟
إِلَى
ٱللَّهِ
تَوْبَةً
نَّصُوحًا
عَسَىٰ
رَبُّكُمْ
أَن
يُكَفِّرَ
عَنكُمْ
سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْ
وَيُدْخِلَكُمْ
جَنَّٰتٍ
تَجْرِى
مِن
تَحْتِهَا
ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ
يَوْمَ
لَا
يُخْزِى
ٱللَّهُ
ٱلنَّبِىَّ
وَٱلَّذِينَ
ءَامَنُوا۟
مَعَهُۥ
نُورُهُمْ
يَسْعَىٰ
بَيْنَ
أَيْدِيهِمْ
وَبِأَيْمَٰنِهِمْ
يَقُولُونَ
رَبَّنَآ
أَتْمِمْ
لَنَا
نُورَنَا
وَٱغْفِرْ
لَنَآ
إِنَّكَ
عَلَىٰ
كُلِّ
شَىْءٍ
قَدِيرٌ

Ahmed Ali
O you who believe, turn to God truly in repentance. Perhaps your Lord may forgive your ills and admit you to gardens with rivers flowing by on the day when God will not humiliate the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their light will move in front of them and to their right, and they will say: "O Lord, perfect our light and forgive us. You have power over every thing."
Shakir
O you who believe! turn to Allah a sincere turning; maybe your Lord will remove from you your evil and cause you to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, on the day on which Allah will not abase the Prophet and those who believe with him; their light shall run on before them and on their right hands; they shall say: Our Lord! make perfect for us our light, and grant us protection, surely Thou hast power over all things.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اے ایمان والو! اللہ کی طرف ایسی توبہ کرو جو آگے کو نصیحت ہوجائے (ف۲۲) قریب ہے تمہارا رب (ف۲۳) تمہاری برائیاں تم سے اتار دے اور تمہیں باغوں میں لے جائے جن کے نیچے نہریں بہیں جس دن اللہ رسوا نہ کرے گا نبی اور ان کے ساتھ کے ایمان والوں کو (ف۲۴) ان کا نور دوڑتا ہوگا ان کے آگے اور ان کے دہنے (ف۲۵) عرض کریں گے، اے ہمارے رب! ہمارے لیے ہمارا نور پورا کردے (ف۲۶) اور ہمیں بخش دے، بیشک تجھے ہر چیز پر قدرت ہے،
66:8 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ جَٰهِدِ ٱلْكُفَّارَ وَٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَٱغْلُظْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَأْوَىٰهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ ٩
66:9
Ahmed Ali
O Prophet, fight the unbelievers and the hypocrites, and be severe with them. Their abode is Hell, an evil destination?
Shakir
O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites, and be hard against them; and their abode is hell; and evil is the resort.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اے غیب بتانے والے! (نبی) (ف۲۷) کافروں پر اور منافقوں پر (ف۲۸) جہاد کرو اور ان پر سختی فرماؤ، اور ان کا ٹھکانا جہنم ہے، اور کیا ہی برا انجام،
66:9 ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًا لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱمْرَأَتَ نُوحٍ وَٱمْرَأَتَ لُوطٍ كَانَتَا تَحْتَ عَبْدَيْنِ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا صَٰلِحَيْنِ فَخَانَتَاهُمَا فَلَمْ يُغْنِيَا عَنْهُمَا مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيْـًٔا وَقِيلَ ٱدْخُلَا ٱلنَّارَ مَعَ ٱلدَّٰخِلِينَ ٠١
66:10
Ahmed Ali
God advances the example of Noah´s wife and the wife of Lot for those who do not believe. They were married to Our two pious devotees, but they were unfaithful to them, and even (the apostles) could not avail them in the least against God; and it was said to them: "Enter Hell with those (who are condemned) to enter it."
Shakir
Allah sets forth an example to those who disbelieve the wife of Nuh and the wife of Lut: they were both under two of Our righteous servants, but they acted treacherously towards them so they availed them naught against Allah, and it was said: Enter both the fire with those who enter.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اللہ کافروں کی مثال دیتا ہے (ف۲۹) نوح کی عورت اور لوط کی عورت، وہ ہمارے بندوں میں دو سزا وارِ (لائق) قرب بندوں کے نکاح میں تمہیں پھر انہوں نے ان سے دغا کی (ف۳۰) تو وہ اللہ کے سامنے انہیں کچھ کام نہ آئے اور فرما دیا گیا (ف۳۱) کے تم دونوں عورتیں جہنم میں جاؤ جانے والوں کے ساتھ (ف۳۲)
66:10 وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًا لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱمْرَأَتَ فِرْعَوْنَ إِذْ قَالَتْ رَبِّ ٱبْنِ لِى عِندَكَ بَيْتًا فِى ٱلْجَنَّةِ وَنَجِّنِى مِن فِرْعَوْنَ وَعَمَلِهِۦ وَنَجِّنِى مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ١١
66:11
Ahmed Ali
And God presents the example of Pharaoh´s wife for those who believe, when she said: "O Lord, build me a house in Paradise, and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds, and save me from a wicked people;"
Shakir
And Allah sets forth an example to those who believe the wife of Firon when she said: My Lord! build for me a house with Thee in the garden and deliver me from Firon and his doing, and deliver me from the unjust people:
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اللہ مسلمانو ں کی مثال بیان فر ماتا ہے (ف۳۳) فرعون کی بی بی (ف۳۴) جب اس نے عرض کی، اے میرے رب! میرے لیے اپنے پاس جنت میں گھر بنا (ف۳۵) اور مجھے فرعون اور اس کے کام سے نجات دے (ف۳۶) اور مجھے ظالم لوگوں سے نجات بخش (ف۳۷)
66:11 وَمَرْيَمَ ٱبْنَتَ عِمْرَٰنَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَحْصَنَتْ فَرْجَهَا فَنَفَخْنَا فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِنَا وَصَدَّقَتْ بِكَلِمَٰتِ رَبِّهَا وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَكَانَتْ مِنَ ٱلْقَٰنِتِينَ ٢١
66:12
Ahmed Ali
And of Mary, daughter of ´Imran, who guarded her chastity, so that We breathed into her a new life from Us, and she believed the words of her Lord and His Books, and was among the obedient.
Shakir
And Marium, the daughter of Imran, who guarded her chastity, so We breathed into her of Our inspiration and she accepted the truth of the words of her Lord and His books, and she was of, the obedient ones.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور عمران کی بیٹی مریم جس نے اپنی پارسائی کی حفاظت کی تو ہم نے اس میں اپنی طرف کی روح پھونکی اور اس نے اپنے رب کی باتوں (ف۳۸) اور اس کی کتابوں (ف۳۹) کی تصدیق کی اور فرمانبرداروں میں ہوئی،
