يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
ٱلَّذِينَ
ءَامَنُوٓا۟
إِذَا
نُودِىَ
لِلصَّلَوٰةِ
مِن
يَوْمِ
ٱلْجُمُعَةِ
فَٱسْعَوْا۟
إِلَىٰ
ذِكْرِ
ٱللَّهِ
وَذَرُوا۟
ٱلْبَيْعَ
ذَٰلِكُمْ
خَيْرٌ
لَّكُمْ
إِن
كُنتُمْ
تَعْلَمُونَ

ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ
قَالُوا۟
نَشْهَدُ
إِنَّكَ
لَرَسُولُ
ٱللَّهِ
وَٱللَّهُ

لَرَسُولُهُۥ
وَٱللَّهُ
يَشْهَدُ
إِنَّ
ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ
لَكَٰذِبُونَ

Ahmed Ali
O you who believe, when the call to prayer is made on the day of congregation, hasten to remember God, putting aside your business. This is better for you if you can understand.
Shakir
O you who believe! when the call is made for prayer on Friday, then hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave off trading; that is better for you, if you know.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اے ایمان والو جب نماز کی اذان ہو جمعہ کے دن (ف۲۱) تو اللہ کے ذکر کی طرف دوڑو (ف۲۲) اور خرید و فروخت چھوڑ دو (ف۲۳) یہ تمہارے لیے بہتر ہے اگر تم جانو،
62:9 فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةُ فَٱنتَشِرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ٠١
62:10
Ahmed Ali
And when the service of prayer is over spread out in the land, and look for the bounty of God. and remember God a great deal that you may prosper.
Shakir
But when the prayer is ended, then disperse abroad in the land and seek of Allah´s grace, and remember Allah much, that you may be successful.

پھر جب نماز ہوچکے تو زمین میں پھیل جاؤ اور اللہ کا فضل تلاش کرو (ف۲۴) اور اللہ کو بہت یاد کرو اس امید پر کہ فلاح پاؤ،
62:10 وَإِذَا رَأَوْا۟ تِجَٰرَةً أَوْ لَهْوًا ٱنفَضُّوٓا۟ إِلَيْهَا وَتَرَكُوكَ قَآئِمًا قُلْ مَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهْوِ وَمِنَ ٱلتِّجَٰرَةِ وَٱللَّهُ خَيْرُ ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ ١١
62:11
Ahmed Ali
Yet when they see some buying and selling, or some sport, they go for it, leaving you standing. Tell them: "What is with God is better than your sport and commerce. And God is the best of providers."
Shakir
And when they see merchandise or sport they break up for It, and leave you standing. Say: What is with Allah is better than sport and (better) than merchandise, and Allah is the best of Sustainers.

اور جب انہوں نے کوئی تجارت یا کھیل دیکھا اس کی طرف چل دیے (ف۲۵) اور تمہیں خطبے میں کھڑا چھوڑ گئے (ف۲۶) تم فرماؤ وہ جو اللہ کے پاس ہے (ف۲۷) کھیل سے اور تجارت سے بہتر ہے، اور اللہ کا رزق سب سے اچھا،

Ahmed Ali
WHEN THE HYPOCRITES come to you, they say: "We affirm that you are the Apostle of God." God indeed knows you are His Apostle. God bears witness that the hypocrites are indeed liars.
Shakir
When the hypocrites come to you, they say: We bear witness that you are most surely Allah´s Messenger; and Allah knows that you are most surely His Messenger, and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are surely liars.

جب منافق تمہارے حضور حاضر ہوتے ہیں (ف۲) کہتے ہیں کہ ہم گواہی دیتے ہیں کہ حضور بیشک یقیناً اللہ کے رسول ہیں اور اللہ جانتا ہے کہ تم اس کے رسول ہو، اور اللہ گواہی دیتا ہے کہ منافق ضرور جھوٹے ہیں (ف۳)
63:1 ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ أَيْمَٰنَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُمْ سَآءَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ٢
63:2
Ahmed Ali
They have made their oaths a shield in order to obstruct others from the way of God. It is certainly evil what they do.
Shakir
They make their oaths a shelter, and thus turn away from Allah´s way; surely evil is that which they do.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور انہوں نے اپنی قسموں کو ڈھال ٹھہرالیا (ف۴) تو اللہ کی راہ سے روکا (ف۵) بیشک وہ بہت ہی برے کام کرتے ہیں (ف۶)
63:2 ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا۟ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ ٣
63:3
Ahmed Ali
That is because they came to believe, and then renounced (their faith). So their hearts were sealed; and now they do not understand.
Shakir
That is because they believe, then disbelieve, so a seal is set upon their hearts so that they do not understand.
Ahmed Raza Khan
یہ اس لیے کہ وہ زبان سے ایمان لائے پھر دل سے کافر ہوئے تو ان کے دلوں پر مہر کردی گئی تو اب وہ کچھ نہیں سمجھتے،
63:3 ۞ وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ أَجْسَامُهُمْ وَإِن يَقُولُوا۟ تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ خُشُبٌ مُّسَنَّدَةٌ يَحْسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيْحَةٍ عَلَيْهِمْ هُمُ ٱلْعَدُوُّ فَٱحْذَرْهُمْ قَٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ ٤
63:4
Ahmed Ali
Pleasing seem their persons when you look at them; and when they talk, you listen to their speech. Yet they are like the wooden panelling of a wall. They imagine every rebuke to be directed against them. They are the enemies, beware of them. May God damn them, how pervert are they!
Shakir
And when you see them, their persons will please you, and If they speak, you will listen to their speech; (they are) as if they were big pieces of wood clad with garments; they think every cry to be against them. They are the enemy, therefore beware of them; may Allah destroy them, whence are they turned back?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور جب تو انہیں دیکھے (ف۷) ان کے جسم تجھے بھلے معلوم ہوں، اور اگر بات کریں تو تُو ان کی بات غور سے سنے (ف۸) گویا وہ کڑیاں ہیں دیوار سے ٹکائی ہوئی (ف۹) ہر بلند آواز اپنے ہی اوپر لے جاتے ہیں (ف۱۰) وہ دشمن ہیں (ف۱۱) تو ان سے بچتے رہو (ف۱۲) اللہ انہیں مارے کہاں اوندھے جاتے ہیں (ف۱۳)

Ahmed Ali
When you tell them: "Come, let the Apostle of God ask forgiveness for you," they turn their heads, and you see them turning away with arrogance.
Shakir
And when it is said to them: Come, the Messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you, they turn back their heads and you may see them turning away while they are big with pride.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور جب ان سے کہا جائے کہ آؤ (ف۱۴) رسول اللہ تمہارے لیے معافی چاہیں تو اپنے سر گھماتے ہیں اور تم انہیں دیکھو کہ غور کرتے ہوئے منہ پھیر لیتے ہیں (ف۱۵)
63:5 سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَسْتَغْفَرْتَ لَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ لَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ ٦
63:6
Ahmed Ali
Whether you ask forgiveness for them or do not ask, it is all the same; God will not forgive them. Surely God does not show a disobedient people the way.
Shakir
It is alike to them whether you beg forgiveness for them or do not beg forgiveness for them; Allah will never forgive them; surely Allah does not guide the transgressing people.

ان پر ایک سا ہے تم ان کی معافی چاہو یا نہ چاہو، اللہ انہیں ہر گز نہ بخشے گا (ف۱۶) بیشک اللہ فاسقوں کو راہ نہیں دیتا،
63:6 هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ لَا تُنفِقُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَنْ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ حَتَّىٰ يَنفَضُّوا۟ وَلِلَّهِ خَزَآئِنُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ ٧
63:7
Ahmed Ali
They are the ones who say: "Do not spend on those who are with the Apostle of God till they break away (from him)." To God belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth; but the hypocrites do not understand.
Shakir
They it is who say: Do not spend upon those who are with the Messenger of Allah until they break up. And Allah´s are the treasures of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand.
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہی ہیں جو کہتے ہیں کہ ان پر خرچ نہ کرو جو رسول اللہ کے پاس ہیں یہاں تک کہ پریشان ہوجائیں، اور اللہ ہی کے لیے ہیں آسمانوں اور زمین کے خزانے (ف۱۷) مگر منافقوں کو سمجھ نہیں،
63:7 يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعْنَآ إِلَى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ لَيُخْرِجَنَّ ٱلْأَعَزُّ مِنْهَا ٱلْأَذَلَّ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ٨
63:8
Ahmed Ali
They say: "If we now go back to Madina, the stronger will turn the weaker out." But power belongs to God, His Apostle and the faithful, though the hypocrites do not know.
Shakir
They say: If we return to Medina, the mighty will surely drive out the meaner therefrom; and to Allah belongs the might and to His Messenger and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کہتے ہیں ہم مدینہ پھر کر گئے (ف۱۸) تو ضرور جو بڑی عزت والا ہے وہ اس میں سے نکال دے گا اسے جو نہایت ذلت والا ہے (ف۱۹) اور عزت تو اللہ اور اس کے رسول اور مسلمانوں ہی کے لیے ہے مگر منافقوں کو خبر نہیں (ف۲۰)
63:8 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُلْهِكُمْ أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَٰدُكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ ٩
63:9
Ahmed Ali
O you who believe, let not your wealth and children make you negligent of the remembrance of God. Those who do so will be losers.
Shakir
O you who believe! let not your wealth, or your children, divert you from the remembrance of Allah; and whoever does that, these are the losers.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اے ایمان والو تمہارے مال نہ تمہاری اولاد کوئی چیز تمہیں اللہ کے ذکر سے غافل نہ کرے (ف۲۱) اور جو ایسا کرے (ف۲۲) تو وہی لوگ نقصان میں ہیں (ف۲۳)
63:9 وَأَنفِقُوا۟ مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَٰكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَآ أَخَّرْتَنِىٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ ٠١
63:10
Ahmed Ali
Spend of what We have given you before death comes to one of you, when he will say: "O Lord, why did you not defer my term for a while that I could give alms and be among the doers of good?"
Shakir
And spend out of what We have given you before death comes to one of you, so that he should say: My Lord! why didst Thou not respite me to a near term, so that I should have given alms and been of the doers of good deeds?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور ہمارے دیے میں سے کچھ ہماری راہ میں خرچ کرو (ف۲۴) قبل اس کے کہ تم میں کسی کو موت آئے پھر کہنے لگے، اے میرے رب تو نے مجھے تھوڑی مدت تک کیوں مہلت نہ دی کہ میں صدقہ دیتا اور نیکوں میں ہوتا،
63:10 وَلَن يُؤَخِّرَ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهَا وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ ١١
63:11
Ahmed Ali
But God does not grant a soul respite once its term has come to end. And God is aware of what you do.
Shakir
And Allah does not respite a soul when its appointed term has come, and Allah is Aware of what you do.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور ہرگز اللہ کسی جان کو مہلت نہ دے گا جب اس کا وعدہ آجائے (ف۲۵) اور اللہ کو تمہارے کاموں کی خبر ہے،
