يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
ٱلنَّبِىُّ
إِذَا
جَآءَكَ
ٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتُ
يُبَايِعْنَكَ
عَلَىٰٓ
أَن
لَّا
يُشْرِكْنَ
بِٱللَّهِ
شَيْـًٔا
وَلَا
يَسْرِقْنَ
وَلَا
يَزْنِينَ
وَلَا
يَقْتُلْنَ
أَوْلَٰدَهُنَّ
وَلَا
يَأْتِينَ
بِبُهْتَٰنٍ
يَفْتَرِينَهُۥ
بَيْنَ
أَيْدِيهِنَّ
وَأَرْجُلِهِنَّ
وَلَا
يَعْصِينَكَ
فِى
مَعْرُوفٍ
فَبَايِعْهُنَّ
وَٱسْتَغْفِرْ
لَهُنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
إِنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
غَفُورٌ
رَّحِيمٌ

فِى

Ahmed Ali
O Prophet, when believing women come to you and swear on oath that they will not associate anything with God, nor steal, nor fornicate, nor kill their children, nor accuse others for what they have fabricated themselves, nor disobey you in any rightful thing, then you should accept their allegiance, and ask forgiveness of God for them. Certainly God is forgiving and kind.
Shakir
O Prophet! when believing women come to you giving you a pledge that they will not associate aught with Allah, and will not steal, and will not commit fornication, and will not kill their children, and will not bring a calumny which they have forged of themselves, and will not disobey you in what is good, accept their pledge, and ask forgiveness for them from Allah; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

اے نبی جب تمہارے حضور مسلمان عورتیں حاضر ہوں اس پر بیعت کرنے کو کہ اللہ کا کچھ شریک نہ ٹھہرائیں گی اور نہ چوری کریں گی اور نہ بدکاری اور نہ اپنی اولاد کو قتل کریں گی (ف۴۲) اور نہ وہ بہتان لائیں گی جسے اپنے ہاتھوں اور پاؤں کے درمیان یعنی موضع ولادت میں اٹھائیں (ف۴۳) اور کسی نیک بات میں تمہاری نافرانی نہ کریں گی (ف۴۴) تو ان سے بیعت لو اور اللہ سے ان کی مغفرت چاہو (ف۴۵) بیشک اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے،
60:12 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَتَوَلَّوْا۟ قَوْمًا غَضِبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ قَدْ يَئِسُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ كَمَا يَئِسَ ٱلْكُفَّارُ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْقُبُورِ ٣١
60:13
Ahmed Ali
O you who believe, do not make friends with those who have suffered the anger of God by having become despondent of the life to come like those unbelievers who are despondent of those who are in the graves.
Shakir
O you who believe! do not make friends with a people with whom Allah is wroth; indeed they despair of the hereafter as the unbelievers despair of those in tombs.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اے ایمان والو ان لوگوں سے دوستی نہ کرو جن پر اللہ کا غضب ہے (ف۴۶) وہ آخرت سے آس توڑ بیٹھے ہیں (ف۴۷) جیسے کافر آس توڑ بیٹھے قبر والوں سے (ف۴۸)

ALL THAT IS in the heavens and the earth sings the praises of God. He is all-mighty and all-wise.
Shakir
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth declares the glory of Allah; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اللہ کی پاکی بولتا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے، اور وہی عزت و حکمت والا ہے،
61:1 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لِمَ تَقُولُونَ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ ٢
61:2
Ahmed Ali
O you who believe, why do you profess what you do not practise?
Shakir
O you who believe! why do you say that which you do not do?

اے ایمان والو کیوں کہتے ہو وہ جو نہیں کرتے (ف۲)
61:2 كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ أَن تَقُولُوا۟ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ ٣
61:3
Ahmed Ali
Saying what you do not practice is odious to God.
Shakir
It is most hateful to Allah that you should say that which you do not do.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کیسی سخت ناپسند ہے اللہ کو وہ بات کہ وہ کہو جو نہ کرو،
61:3 إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُقَٰتِلُونَ فِى سَبِيلِهِۦ صَفًّا كَأَنَّهُم بُنْيَٰنٌ مَّرْصُوصٌ ٤
61:4
Ahmed Ali
Surely God loves those who fight in His cause in full formations as though they were a compact wall.
Shakir
Surely Allah loves those who fight in His way in ranks as if they were a firm and compact wall.
Ahmed Raza Khan
بیشک اللہ دوست رکھتا ہے انہیں جو اس کی راہ میں لڑتے ہیں پرا (صف) باندھ کر گویا وہ عمارت ہیں رانگا پلائی (سیسہ پلائی دیوار) (ف۳)
61:4 وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِۦ يَٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تُؤْذُونَنِى وَقَد تَّعْلَمُونَ أَنِّى رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوٓا۟ أَزَاغَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ ٥
61:5
Ahmed Ali
When Moses said to his people: "O my people, why do you afflict me though you know that I have been sent to you by God?" But when they turned aside God made their hearts turn farther away; for God does not show the transgressors the way.
Shakir
And when Musa said to his people: O my people! why do you give me trouble? And you know indeed that I am Allah´s messenger to you; but when they turned aside, Allah made their hearts turn aside, and Allah does not guide the transgressing people.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور یاد کرو جب موسیٰ نے اپنی قوم سے کہا، اے میری قوم مجھے کیوں ستاتے ہو (ف۴) حالانکہ تم جانتے ہو (ف۵) کہ میں تمہاری طرف اللہ کا رسول ہوں (ف۶) پھر جب وہ (ف۷) ٹیڑھے ہوئے اللہ نے ان کے دل ٹیڑھے کردیے (ف۸) اور اللہ فاسق لوگوں کو راہ نہیں دیتا (ف۹)
61:5

أَحْمَدُ
فَلَمَّا
جَآءَهُم
بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ
قَالُوا۟
هَٰذَا
سِحْرٌ
مُّبِينٌ

Ahmed Ali
And when Jesus, son of Mary, said: "O children of Israel, I am sent to you by God to confirm the Torah (sent) before me, and to give you good tidings of an apostle who will come after me, whose name is Ahmad (the praised one)." Yet when he has come to them with clear proofs, they say: "This is only magic."
Shakir
And when Isa son of Marium said: O children of Israel! surely I am the messenger of Allah to you, verifying that which is before me of the Taurat and giving the good news of an Messenger who will come after me, his name being Ahmad, but when he came to them with clear arguments they said: This is clear magic.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور یاد کرو جب عیسیٰ بن مریم نے کہا اے بنی اسرائیل میں تمہاری طرف اللہ کا رسول ہوں اپنے سے پہلی کتاب توریت کی تصدیق کرتا ہوا (ف۱۰) اور ان رسول کی بشارت سناتا ہوا جو میرے بعد تشریف لائیں گے ان کا نام احمد ہے (ف۱۱) پھر جب احمد ان کے پاس روشن نشانیاں لے کر تشریف لائے بولے یہ کھلا جادو،
61:6 وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ وَهُوَ يُدْعَىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلْإِسْلَٰمِ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ٧
61:7
Ahmed Ali
Who is more unjust than he who invents a lie against God when he is called to submit? God does not show the evil-doers the way.
Shakir
And who is more unjust than he who forges a lie against Allah and he is invited to Islam, and Allah does not guide the unjust people.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون جو اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھے (ف۱۲) حالانکہ اسے اسلام کی طرف بلایا جاتا ہو (ف۱۳) اور ظالم لوگوں کو اللہ راہ نہیں دیتا،
61:7 يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِـُٔوا۟ نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَٱللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِۦ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ ٨
61:8
Ahmed Ali
They want to extinguish the light of God by uttering blasphemies. But God wills to perfect His light, however the unbelievers may dislike it.
Shakir
They desire to put out the light of Allah with their mouths but Allah will perfect His light, though the unbelievers may be averse.
Ahmed Raza Khan
چاہتے ہیں کہ اللہ کا نور (ف۱۴) اپنے مونھوں سے بجھادیں (ف۱۵) اور اللہ کو اپنا نور پورا کرنا پڑے برا مانیں کافر،
61:8 هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُۥ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ وَدِينِ ٱلْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلدِّينِ كُلِّهِۦ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْمُشْرِكُونَ ٩
61:9
Ahmed Ali
It is He who sent His Apostle with the guidance and the true way to raise it above all faiths, however the idolaters may dislike it.
Shakir
He it is Who sent His Messenger with the guidance and the true religion, that He may make it overcome the religions, all of them, though the polytheists may be averse.
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہی ہے جس نے اپنے رسول کو ہدایت اور سچے دین کے ساتھ بھیجا کہ اسے سب دینوں پر غالب کرے (ف۱۶) پڑے برا مانیں مشرک،
61:9 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ تِجَٰرَةٍ تُنجِيكُم مِّنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ ٠١
61:10
Ahmed Ali
O you who believe, may I offer you a bargain which will save you from a painful punishment?
Shakir
O you who believe! shall I lead you to a merchandise which may deliver you from a painful chastisement?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اے ایمان والو (ف۱۷) کیا میں بتادوں وہ تجارت جو تمہیں دردناک عذاب سے بچالے (ف۱۸)
61:10 تُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَتُجَٰهِدُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِأَمْوَٰلِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ ١١
61:11
Ahmed Ali
Come to believe in God and His Apostle, and struggle in the cause of God, wealth and soul. This will be good for you, if you can understand.
Shakir
You shall believe in Allah and His Messenger, and struggle hard in Allah´s way with your property and your lives; that is better for you, did you but know!
Ahmed Raza Khan
ایمان رکھو اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر اور اللہ کی راہ میں اپنے مال و جان سے جہاد کرو، یہ تمہارے لیے بہتر ہے (ف۱۹) اگر تم جانو (ف۲۰)
61:11 يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَيُدْخِلْكُمْ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ وَمَسَٰكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِى جَنَّٰتِ عَدْنٍ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ ٢١
61:12
Ahmed Ali
He will forgive you your sins and admit you to gardens with rivers flowing by, and excellent mansions in the garden of Eden. This will be a great fulfilment.
Shakir
He will forgive you your faults and cause you to enter into gardens, beneath which rivers flow, and goodly dwellings in gardens of perpetuity; that is the mighty achievement;
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہ تمہارے گناہ بخش دے گا اور تمہیں باغوں میں لے جائے گا جن کے نیچے نہریں رواں اور پاکیزہ محلوں میں جو بسنے کے باغوں میں ہیں، یہی بڑی کامیابی ہے،
61:12 وَأُخْرَىٰ تُحِبُّونَهَا نَصْرٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَفَتْحٌ قَرِيبٌ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٣١
61:13
Ahmed Ali
And (He will give you) what is dearest to you -- help from God and early victory. So give good tidings to those who believe.
Shakir
And yet another (blessing) that you love: help from Allah and a victory near at hand; and give good news to the believers.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور ایک نعمت تمہیں اور دے گا (ف۲۱) جو تمہیں پیاری ہے اللہ کی مدد اور جلد آنے والی فتح (ف۲۲) اور اے محبوب مسلمانوں کو خوشی سنادو (ف۲۳)
61:13 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُونُوٓا۟ أَنصَارَ ٱللَّهِ كَمَا قَالَ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ لِلْحَوَارِيِّۦنَ مَنْ أَنصَارِىٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ قَالَ ٱلْحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحْنُ أَنصَارُ ٱللَّهِ فَـَٔامَنَت طَّآئِفَةٌ مِّنۢ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ وَكَفَرَت طَّآئِفَةٌ فَأَيَّدْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ عَلَىٰ عَدُوِّهِمْ فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ ظَٰهِرِينَ ٤١
61:14
Ahmed Ali
O you who believe, be helpers of God, as Jesus, son of Mary, had said to the disciples: "Who will help me in the way of God?" and they had answered: "We are the helpers of God." Then a section among the children of Israel believed, but a section among them did not. So We helped those who believed against their enemies, and they prevailed over them.
Shakir
O you who believe! be helpers (in the cause) of Allah, as~ Isa son of Marium said to (his) disciples: Who are my helpers in the cause of Allah? The disciples said: We are helpers (in the cause) of Allah. So a party of the children of Israel believed and another party disbelieved; then We aided those who believed against their enemy, and they became uppermost.

اے ایمان والو دین خدا کے مددگار ہو جیسے (ف۲۴) عیسیٰ بن مریم نے حواریوں سے کہا تھا کون ہے جو اللہ کی طرف ہو کر میری مدد کریں حواری بولے (ف۲۵) ہم دینِ خدا کے مددگار ہیں تو بنی اسرائیل سے ایک گروہ ایمان لایا (ف۲۶) اور ایک گروہ نے کفر کیا (ف۲۷) تو ہم نے ایمان والوں کو ان کے دشمنوں پر مدد دی تو غالب ہوگئے (ف۲۸)
