سورة الأنعام
6:1
Ahmed Ali
ALL PRAISE BE to God who created the heavens and the earth, and ordained darkness and light. Yet the unbelievers make the others equal of their Lord.
Shakir
All praise is due to Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth and made the darkness and the light; yet those who disbelieve set up equals with their Lord.
Ahmed Raza Khan
سب خوبیاں اللہ کو جس نے آسمان اور زمین بنائے (ف۲) اور اندھیریاں اور روشنی پیدا کی (ف۳) اس پر (ف۴) کافر لوگ اپنے رب کے برابر ٹھہراتے ہیں(ف۵)
6:1 هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُم مِّن طِينٍ ثُمَّ قَضَىٰٓ أَجَلًا وَأَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى عِندَهُۥ ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ تَمْتَرُونَ ٢
6:2
Ahmed Ali
It is He who created you from clay then determined a term (of life) for you, and a term (is fixed) with Him. Even then you doubt.
Shakir
He it is Who created you from clay, then He decreed a term; and there is a term named with Him; still you doubt.
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہی ہے جس نے تمہیں (ف۶) مٹی سے پیدا کیا پھر ایک میعاد کا حکم رکھا (ف۷) اور ایک مقررہ وعدہ اس کے یہاں ہے (ف۸) پھر تم لوگ شک کرتے ہو،
6:2 وَهُوَ ٱللَّهُ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ يَعْلَمُ سِرَّكُمْ وَجَهْرَكُمْ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْسِبُونَ ٣
6:3
Ahmed Ali
He is God in the heavens and the earth. He knows what you hide and bring out into the open, and knows what you earn (of good and evil).
Shakir
And He is Allah in the heavens and in the earth; He knows your secret (thoughts) and your open (words), and He knows what you earn.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور وہی اللہ ہے آسمانوں اور زمین کا (ف۹) اسے تمہارا چھپا اور ظاہر سب معلوم ہے اور تمہارے کام جانتا ہے،
6:3 وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ ءَايَةٍ مِّنْ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ ٤
6:4
Ahmed Ali
Yet no sign of their Lord comes to them but they turn away from it.
Shakir
And there does not come to them any communication of the communications of their Lord but they turn aside from it
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور ان کے پاس کوئی بھی نشانی اپنے رب کی نشانیوں سے نہیں آتی مگر اس سے منہ پھیرلیتے ہیں،
6:4 فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِيهِمْ أَنۢبَٰٓؤُا۟ مَا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ ٥
6:5
Ahmed Ali
So they disbelieved the truth when it came to them; but they will soon come to know the reality of what they had ridiculed.
Shakir
So they have indeed rejected the truth when it came to them; therefore the truth of what they mocked at will shine upon them.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو بیشک انہوں نے حق کو جھٹلایا (ف۱۰) جب ان کے پاس آیا، تو اب انہیں خبر ہوا چاہتی ہے اس چیز کی جس پر ہنس رہے تھے (ف۱۱)
6:5 أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍ مَّكَّنَّٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَا لَمْ نُمَكِّن لَّكُمْ وَأَرْسَلْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيْهِم مِّدْرَارًا وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرَ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَنشَأْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا ءَاخَرِينَ ٦
6:6
Ahmed Ali
Do they not see how many generations We laid low before them, whom We had firmly established in the land as We have not established you, and showered abundant rain on them, and made rivers lap at their feet, yet whom We destroyed for their sins, and raised new generations after them?
Shakir
Do they not consider how many a generation We have destroyed before them, whom We had established in the earth as We have not established you, and We sent the clouds pouring rain on them in abundance, and We made the rivers to flow beneath them, then We destroyed them on account of their faults and raised up after them another generation.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کیا انہوں نے نہ د یکھا کہ ہم نے ان سے پہلے (ف۱۲) کتنی سنگتیں کھپا دیں انہیں ہم نے زمین میں وہ جماؤ دیا (ف۱۳) جو تم کو نہ دیا اور ان پر موسلا دھار پانی بھیجا (ف۱۴) اور ان کے نیچے نہریں بہائیں (ف۱۵) تو انہیں ہم نے ان کے گناہوں کے سبب ہلاک کیا (ف۱۶) اور ان کے بعد اور سنگت اٹھائی (ف۱۷)
6:6 وَلَوْ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ كِتَٰبًا فِى قِرْطَاسٍ فَلَمَسُوهُ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ لَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ ٧
6:7
Ahmed Ali
Even if We had sent you a transcript on paper which they could feel with their hands, the unbelievers would have said: "This is nothing but clear sorcery."
Shakir
And if We had sent to you a writing on a paper, then they had touched it with their hands, certainly those who disbelieve would have said: This is nothing but clear enchantment.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اگر ہم تم پر کاغذ میں کچھ لکھا ہوا اتارتے (ف۱۸) کہ وہ اسے اپنے ہاتھوں سے چھوتے جب بھی کافر کہتے کہ یہ نہیں مگر کھلا جادو،
6:7 وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ وَلَوْ أَنزَلْنَا مَلَكًا لَّقُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ ثُمَّ لَا يُنظَرُونَ ٨
6:8
Ahmed Ali
They say: "How is it no angel was sent down to him?" Had We sent an angel down the matter would have come to end, and they would have had no respite.
Shakir
And they say: Why has not an angel been sent down to him? And had We sent down an angel, the matter would have certainly been decided and then they would not have been respited.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور بولے (ف۱۹) ان پر (ف۲۰) کوئی فرشتہ کیوں نہ اتارا گیا، اور اگر ہم فرشتہ اتارتے (ف۲۱) تو کام تمام ہوگیا ہوتا (ف۲۲) پھر انہیں مہلت نہ دی جاتی (ف۲۳)

Ahmed Ali
Even if We had sent down an angel as messenger he would have appeared in the garb of a man and filled them with confusion, like the one they are filled with.
Shakir
And if We had made him angel, We would certainly have made him a man, and We would certainly have made confused to them what they make confused.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اگر ہم نبی کو فرشتہ کرتے (ف۲۴) جب بھی اسے مرد ہی بناتے (ف۲۵) اور ان پر وہی شبہ رکھتے جس میں اب پڑے ہیں،
6:9 وَلَقَدِ ٱسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِٱلَّذِينَ سَخِرُوا۟ مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ ٠١
6:10
Ahmed Ali
Surely the apostles have been mocked before you; but what they had mocked rebounded on the mockers themselves.
Shakir
And certainly messengers before you were mocked at, but that which they mocked at encompassed the scoffers among them.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور ضرور اے محبوب تم سے پہلے رسولوں کے ساتھ بھی ٹھٹھا کیا گیا تو وہ جو ان سے ہنستے تھے ان کی ہنسی انہیں کو لے بیٹھی (ف۲۶)
6:10 قُلْ سِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ ٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ١١
6:11
Ahmed Ali
Say: "Travel in the land and see what happened to those who disbelieved."
Shakir
Say: Travel in the land, then see what was the end of the rejecters.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تم فرمادو (ف۲۷) زمین میں سیر کرو پھر دیکھو کہ جھٹلانے والوں کا کیسا انجام ہوا(ف۲۸)
6:11 قُل لِّمَن مَّا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ قُل لِّلَّهِ كَتَبَ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ ٱلرَّحْمَةَ لَيَجْمَعَنَّكُمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ٢١
6:12
Ahmed Ali
And ask: "To whom belongs what is in the heavens and the earth?" Say: "To God." He has prescribed grace for Himself. He will gather you on the Day of Resurrection which is certain to come. Only they who are lost of soul will not come to believe.
Shakir
Say: To whom belongs what is in the heavens and the earth? Say: To Allah; He has ordained mercy on Himself; most certainly He will gather you on the resurrection day-- there is no doubt about it. (As for) those who have lost their souls, they will not believe.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تم فرماؤ کس کا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں (ف۲۹) تم فرماؤ اللہ کا ہے (ف۳۰) اس نے اپنے کرم کے ذمہ پر رحمت لکھ لی ہے (ف ۳۱) بیشک ضرور تمہیں قیامت کے دن جمع کرے گا (ف۳۲) اس میں کچھ شک نہیں، وہ جنہوں نے اپنی جان نقصان میں ڈالی (ف۳۳) ایمان نہیں لاتے،
6:12 ۞ وَلَهُۥ مَا سَكَنَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ٣١
6:13
Ahmed Ali
Whatsoever dwells in the night and day belongs to Him. He is all-hearing and all-knowing.
Shakir
And to Him belongs whatever dwells in the night and the day; and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اسی کا ہے جو بستا ہے رات اور دن میں (ف۳۴) اور وہی ہے سنتا جانتا(ف۳۵)
6:13 قُلْ أَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيًّا فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ يُطْعِمُ وَلَا يُطْعَمُ قُلْ إِنِّىٓ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ ٤١
6:14
Ahmed Ali
Say: "Should I find some other protector besides God the Creator of the heavens and the earth, who nourishes all and is nourished by none? Say: "I am commanded to be the first to submit to Him, and not be an idolater."
Shakir
Say: Shall I take a guardian besides Allah, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, and He feeds (others) and is not (Himself) fed. Say: I am commanded to be the first who submits himself, and you should not be of the polytheists.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تم فرماؤ کیا اللہ کے سوا کسی اور کو والی بناؤں (ف۳۶) وہ اللہ جس نے آسمان اور زمین پیدا کیے اور وہ کھلاتا ہے اور کھانے سے پاک ہے (ف۳۷) تم فرماؤ مجھے حکم ہوا ہے کہ سب سے پہلے گردن رکھوں (ف۳۸) اور ہرگز شرک والوں میں سے نہ ہونا،
6:14 قُلْ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّى عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ ٥١
6:15
Ahmed Ali
Say: "If I disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of a grievous Day."
Shakir
Say: Surely I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the chastisement of a grievous day.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تم فرماؤ اگر میں اپنے رب کی نافرمانی کروں تو مجھے بڑے دن (ف۳۹) کے عذاب کا ڈر ہے،
6:15 مَّن يُصْرَفْ عَنْهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمَهُۥ وَذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْمُبِينُ ٦١
6:16
Ahmed Ali
Whosoever is spared that Day will surely have mercy shown to him, and this will be a clear triumph.
Shakir
He from whom it is averted on that day, Allah indeed has shown mercy to him; and this is a manifest achievement.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اس دن جس سے عذاب پھیر دیا جائے (ف۴۰) ضرور اس پر اللہ کی مہر ہوئی، اور یہی کھلی کامیابی ہے،
6:16 وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُۥٓ إِلَّا هُوَ وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ٧١
6:17
Ahmed Ali
If God sends you harm, there is no one but He who can take it away; and if He bring you good, surely He has power over everything.
Shakir
And if Allah touch you with affliction, there is none to take it off but He; and if He visit you with good, then He has power over all things.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اگر تجھے اللہ کوئی برائی (ف۴۱) پہنچائے تو اس کے سوا اس کا کوئی دور کرنے والا نہیں، اور اگر تجھے بھلائی پہنچائے (ف۴۲) تو وہ سب کچھ کرسکتا ہے(ف۴۳)
6:17 وَهُوَ ٱلْقَاهِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادِهِۦ وَهُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ ٨١
6:18
Ahmed Ali
It is He who prevails over His creatures, and He is all-wise and aware.
Shakir
And He is the Supreme, above His servants; and He is the Wise, the Aware.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور وہی غالب ہے اپنے بندوں پر، اور وہی ہے حکمت والا خبردار،
