Most surely it is an honored Quran,

بیشک یہ عزت والا قرآن ہے (ف۶۱)
56:77 فِى كِتَٰبٍ مَّكْنُونٍ ٨٧

Ahmed Ali
(Inscribed) in the well-kept Book.
Shakir
In a book that is protected

محفوظ نوشتہ میں (ف۶۲)
56:78 لَّا يَمَسُّهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلْمُطَهَّرُونَ ٩٧
56:79
Ahmed Ali
Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind).
Shakir
None shall touch it save the purified ones.

اسے نہ چھوئیں مگر باوضو (ف۶۳)
56:79 تَنزِيلٌ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ٠٨
56:80
Ahmed Ali
It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds.
Shakir
A revelation by the Lord of the worlds.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اتارا ہوا ہے سارے جہان کے رب کا،
56:80 أَفَبِهَٰذَا ٱلْحَدِيثِ أَنتُم مُّدْهِنُونَ ١٨
56:81
Ahmed Ali
Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation?
Shakir
Do you then hold this announcement in contempt?
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو کیا اس بات میں تم سستی کرتے ہو (ف۶۴)
56:81 وَتَجْعَلُونَ رِزْقَكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ تُكَذِّبُونَ ٢٨
56:82
Ahmed Ali
You live by calling it a lie.
Shakir
And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اپنا حصہ یہ رکھتے ہو کہ جھٹلاتے ہو (ف۶۵)
56:82 فَلَوْلَآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلْحُلْقُومَ ٣٨
56:83
Ahmed Ali
Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles),
Shakir
Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat,

پھر کیوں نہ ہو جب جان گلے تک پہنچے
56:83 وَأَنتُمْ حِينَئِذٍ تَنظُرُونَ ٤٨
56:84
Ahmed Ali
And you wait for the moment (of death),
Shakir
And you at that time look on--

اور تم (ف۶۶) اس وقت دیکھ رہے ہو
56:84 وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنكُمْ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تُبْصِرُونَ ٥٨
56:85
Ahmed Ali
We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see?
Shakir
And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see--
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور ہم (ف۶۷) اس کے زیادہ پاس ہیں تم سے مگر تمہیں نگاہ نیں (ف۶۸)
56:85 فَلَوْلَآ إِن كُنتُمْ غَيْرَ مَدِينِينَ ٦٨
56:86
Ahmed Ali
Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life),
Shakir
Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority--
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو کیوں نہ ہوا اگر تمہیں بدلہ ملنا نہیں (ف۶۹)
56:86 تَرْجِعُونَهَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ ٧٨
56:87
Ahmed Ali
Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful
Shakir
That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful?
Ahmed Raza Khan
کہ اسے لوٹا لاتے اگر تم سچے ہو (ف۷۰)
56:87 فَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ ٨٨
56:88
Ahmed Ali
Then, if he is one of the honoured,
Shakir
Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah),
Ahmed Raza Khan
پھر وہ مرنے والا اگر مقربوں سے ہے (ف۷۱)
56:88 فَرَوْحٌ وَرَيْحَانٌ وَجَنَّتُ نَعِيمٍ ٩٨
56:89
Ahmed Ali
There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him.
Shakir
Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو راحت ہے اور پھول (ف۷۲) اور چین کے باغ (ف۷۳)
56:89 وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ ٠٩
56:90
Ahmed Ali
If he is of those of the right hand,
Shakir
And if he is one of those on the right hand,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اگر (ف۷۴) دہنی طرف والوں سے ہو
56:90 فَسَلَٰمٌ لَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ ١٩
56:91
Ahmed Ali
There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you.
Shakir
Then peace to you from those on the right hand.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو اے محبوب تم پر سلام دہنی طرف والوں سے (ف۷۵)
56:91 وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ ٢٩
56:92
Ahmed Ali
But if he is of the deniers and the errants,
Shakir
And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اگر (ف۷۶) جھٹلانے والے گمراہوں میں سے ہو (ف۷۷)
56:92 فَنُزُلٌ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ ٣٩
56:93
Ahmed Ali
The welcome will be boiling water
Shakir
He shall have an entertainment of boiling water,
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو اس کی مہمانی کھولتا پانی،
56:93 وَتَصْلِيَةُ جَحِيمٍ ٤٩
56:94
Ahmed Ali
And the roasting in Hell.
Shakir
And burning in hell.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور بھڑکتی آگ میں دھنسانا (ف۷۸)
56:94 إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ حَقُّ ٱلْيَقِينِ ٥٩
56:95
Ahmed Ali
This is indeed the ultimate truth.
Shakir
Most surely this is a certain truth.

یہ بیشک اعلیٰ درجہ کی یقینی بات ہے،
56:95 فَسَبِّحْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ ٦٩

Ahmed Ali
Then praise your Lord, the most supreme.

Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great.

تو اے محبوب تم اپنے عظمت والے رب کے نام کی پاکی بولو (ف۷۹)
56:96 سورة الحديد

Ahmed Ali
WHATSOEVER IS IN the heavens and the earth sings the praises of God. He is all-mighty and all-wise.
Shakir
Whatever is in the heavens and the earth declares the glory of Allah, and He is the Mighty, the Wise.

اللہ کی پاکی بولتا ہے جو کچھ آسمان اور زمین میں ہے (ف۲) اور وہی عزت و حکمت والا ہے،
57:1 لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ٢
57:2
Ahmed Ali
His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, He is the giver of life and death, and He has power over everything.
Shakir
His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and causes death; and He has power over all things.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اسی کے لیے ہے آسمانوں اور زمین کی سلطنت، جِلاتا ہے (ف۳) اور مارتا (ف۴) اور وہ سب کچھ کرسکتا ہے،
57:2 هُوَ ٱلْأَوَّلُ وَٱلْءَاخِرُ وَٱلظَّٰهِرُ وَٱلْبَاطِنُ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ ٣
57:3
Ahmed Ali
He is the first and He the last, the transcendent and the immanent; and He has knowledge of everything.
Shakir
He is the First and the Last and the Ascendant (over all) and the Knower of hidden things, and He is Cognizant of all things.

وہی اول (ف۵) وہی آخر (ف۶) وہی ظاہر (ف۷) وہی باطن (ف۸) اور وہی سب کچھ جانتا ہے،

وَهُوَ
مَعَكُمْ
أَيْنَ
مَا
كُنتُمْ
وَٱللَّهُ
بِمَا
تَعْمَلُونَ
بَصِيرٌ

It is He who created the heavens and the earth in six stages, then assumed the throne. He knows whatsoever enters the earth, and whatsoever comes out of it, and what comes down from the sky and what goes up to it; and He is with you wheresoever you may be, and He perceives whatsoever you do.
Shakir
He it is who created the heavens and the earth in six periods, and He is firm in power; He knows that which goes deep down into the earth and that which comes forth out of it, and that which comes down from the heaven and that which goes up into it, and He is with you wherever you are; and Allah sees what you do.

وہی ہے جس نے آسمان اور زمین چھ دن میں پیدا کیے (ف۹) پھر عرش پر استوا فرمایا جیسا کہ اس کی شان کے لائق ہے، جانتا ہے جو زمین کے اندر جا تا ہے (ف۱۰) اور جو اس سے باہر نکلتا ہے (ف۱۱) اور جو آسمان سے اترتا ہے (ف۱۲) اور جو اس میں چڑھتا ہے (ف۱۳) اور وہ تمہارے ساتھ ہے (ف۱۴) تم کہیں ہو، اور اللہ تمہارے کام دیکھ رہا ہے (ف۱۵)
57:4 لَّهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ ٱلْأُمُورُ ٥
57:5
Ahmed Ali
His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and all things will go back to Him.
Shakir
His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and to Allah are (all) affairs returned.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اسی کی ہے آسمانوں اور زمین کی سلطنت، اور اللہ ہی کی طرف، سب کاموں کی رجوع،
57:5 يُولِجُ ٱلَّيْلَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِ وَهُوَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ ٦
57:6
Ahmed Ali
He turns night into day, and turns day into night; and He knows whatsoever is in your hearts.
Shakir
He causes the night to enter in upon the day, and causes the day to enter in upon the night, and He is Cognizant of what is in the hearts.
Ahmed Raza Khan
رات کو دن کے حصے میں لاتا ہے (ف۱۶) اور دن کو رات کے حصے میں لاتا ہے (ف۱۷) اور وہ دلوں کی بات جانتا ہے (ف۱۸)
57:6 ءَامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَأَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا جَعَلَكُم مُّسْتَخْلَفِينَ فِيهِ فَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمْ وَأَنفَقُوا۟ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ ٧
57:7
Ahmed Ali
Believe in God and His Apostle, and spend of what He has given you as His trustee. And those of you who believe and spend in charity will have a great reward.
Shakir
Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and spend out of what He has made you to be successors of; for those of you who believe and spend shall have a great reward.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لاؤ اور اس کی راہ میں کچھ وہ خرچ کرو جس میں تمہیں اَوروں کا جانشین کیا (ف۱۹) تو جو تم میں ایمان لائے اور اس کی راہ میں خرچ کیا ان کے لیے بڑا ثواب ہے،
57:7 وَمَا لَكُمْ لَا تُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِتُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِرَبِّكُمْ وَقَدْ أَخَذَ مِيثَٰقَكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ٨
57:8
Ahmed Ali
What has come upon you that you believe not in God, though the Prophet is calling you to believe in your Lord? And He has already taken your pledge, if you are believers.
Shakir
And what reason have you that you should not believe in Allah? And the Messenger calls on you that you may believe in your Lord, and indeed He has made a covenant with you if you are believers.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور تمہیں کیا ہے کہ اللہ پر ایمان نہ لاؤ، حالانکہ یہ رسول تمہیں بلارہے ہیں کہ اپنے ر ب پر ایمان لاؤ (ف۲۰) اور بیشک وہ (ف۲۱) تم سے پہلے سے عہد لے چکا ہے (ف۲۲) اگر تمہیں یقین ہو،
57:8 هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُنَزِّلُ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِۦٓ ءَايَٰتٍۭ بَيِّنَٰتٍ لِّيُخْرِجَكُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُمْ لَرَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ ٩
57:9
Ahmed Ali
It is He who sends down splendent revelations to His votary that he may take you out of darkness into light; for surely God is gracious and kind to you.
Shakir
He it is who sends down clear communications upon His servant, that he may bring you forth from utter darkness into light; and most surely Allah is Kind, Merciful to you.
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہی ہے کہ اپنے بندہ پر (ف۲۳) روشن آیتیں اتارتا ہے تاکہ تمہیں اندھیریوں سے (ف۲۴) اجالے کی طرف لے جائے (ف۲۵) اور بیشک ا لله تم پر ضرور مہربان رحم والا،
57:9 وَمَا لَكُمْ أَلَّا تُنفِقُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِلَّهِ مِيرَٰثُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ لَا يَسْتَوِى مِنكُم مَّنْ أَنفَقَ مِن قَبْلِ ٱلْفَتْحِ وَقَٰتَلَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَعْظَمُ دَرَجَةً مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنفَقُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدُ وَقَٰتَلُوا۟ وَكُلًّا وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ ٠١
57:10
Ahmed Ali
What has come upon you that you do not spend in the way of God, when the heritage of the heavens and the earth belongs to God? Those of you who spent before the victory and fought, are not equal (to those who did not). They are higher in position than those who spent after (the victory) and fought. To each one God has made the promise of excellence, for God is aware of all you do.
Shakir
And what reason have you that you should not spend in Allah´s way? And Allah´s is the inheritance of the heavens and the earth, not alike among you are those who spent before the victory and fought (and those who did not): they are more exalted in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards; and Allah has promised good to all; and Allah is Aware of what you do.

اور تمہیں کیا ہے کہ اللہ کی راہ میں خرچ نہ کرو حالانکہ آسمانوں اور زمین میں سب کا وارث اللہ ہی ہے (ف۲۶) تم میں برابر نہیں وہ جنہوں نے فتحِ مکہ سے قبل خرچ اور جہاد کیا (ف۲۷) وہ مرتبہ میں ان سے بڑے ہیں جنہوں نے بعد فتح کے خرچ اور جہاد کیا، اور ان سب سے (ف۲۸) اللہ جنت کا وعدہ فرماچکا (ف۲۹) اور اللہ کو تمہارے کاموں کی خبر ہے،
57:10 مَّن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يُقْرِضُ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا فَيُضَٰعِفَهُۥ لَهُۥ وَلَهُۥٓ أَجْرٌ كَرِيمٌ ١١
57:11
Ahmed Ali
Who will give a goodly loan to God which He will double for him, and be for him a splendid reward?
Shakir
Who is there that will offer to Allah a good gift so He will double it for him, and he shall have an excellent reward.

کون ہے جو اللہ کو قرض دے اچھا قرض (ف۳۰) تو وہ اس کے لیے دونے کرے اور اللہ کو عزت کا ثواب دے،
