حٰمٓ
45:1 تَنزِيلُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ ٢
45:2
Ahmed Ali
The revelation of this Book is from God, the mighty and all-wise.
Shakir
The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.

کتاب کا اتارنا ہے اللہ عزت و حکمت والے کی طرف سے،
45:2 إِنَّ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٣
45:3
Ahmed Ali
Indeed there are signs for believers in the heavens and the earth.
Shakir
Most surely in the heavens and the earth there are signs for the believers.

بیشک آسمانوں اور زمین میں نشانیاں ہیں ایمان والوں کے لیے (ف۲)
45:3 وَفِى خَلْقِكُمْ وَمَا يَبُثُّ مِن دَآبَّةٍ ءَايَٰتٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ ٤
45:4
Ahmed Ali
In creating you and spreading all the moving things (on earth) are signs for people firm of faith,
Shakir
And in your (own) creation and in what He spreads abroad of animals there are signs for a people that are sure;
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور تمہاری پیدائش میں (ف۳) اور جو جو جانور وہ پھیلاتا ہے ان میں نشانیاں ہیں یقین والوں کے لیے،
45:4 وَٱخْتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن رِّزْقٍ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَتَصْرِيفِ ٱلرِّيَٰحِ ءَايَٰتٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ ٥
45:5
Ahmed Ali
As there are signs in the alternation of night and day, and in rain that God sends with which He revives the earth once dead, as there are in the changing of the winds, for people who can understand.
Shakir
And (in) the variation of the night and the day, and (in) what Allah sends down of sustenance from the cloud, then gives life thereby to the earth after its death, and (in) the changing of the winds, there are signs for a people who understand.

اور رات اور دن کی تبدیلیوں میں (ف۴) اور اس میں کہ اللہ نے آسمان سے روزی کا سبب مینہ اتارا تو اس سے زمین کو اس کے مَرے پیچھے زندہ کیا اور ہواؤں کی گردش میں (ف۵) نشانیاں ہیں عقل مندوں کے لیے،
45:5 تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱللَّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ وَءَايَٰتِهِۦ يُؤْمِنُونَ ٦
45:6
Ahmed Ali
These are revelations of God which we recite to you correctly: In what other lore but God and His manifestations would they then believe?
Shakir
These are the communications of Allah which We recite to you with truth; then in what announcement would they believe after Allah and His communications?
Ahmed Raza Khan
یہ اللہ کی آیتیں ہیں کہ ہم تم پر حق کے ساتھ پڑھتے ہیں، پھر اللہ اور اس کی آیتوں کو چھوڑ کر کونسی بات پر ایمان لائیں گے،
45:6 وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٍ ٧
45:7

Alas the woe for every dissembling sinner
Shakir
Woe to every sinful liar,
Ahmed Raza Khan
خرابی ہے ہر بڑے بہتان ہائے گنہگار کے لیے (ف۶)
45:7 يَسْمَعُ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَأَن لَّمْ يَسْمَعْهَا فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ ٨
45:8
Ahmed Ali
Who hears the revelations of God being recited to him, yet persists in denying with arrogance as though he had never heard them! So warn him of a painful punishment.
Shakir
Who hears the communications of Allah recited to him, then persists proudly as though he had not heard them; so announce to him a painful punishment.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اللہ کی آیتوں کو سنتا ہے کہ اس پر پڑھی جاتی ہیں پھر ہٹ پر جمتا ہے (ف۷) غرور کرتا (ف۸) گویا انہیں سنا ہی نہیں تو اسے خوشخبری سناؤ درد ناک عذاب کی،
45:8 وَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنْ ءَايَٰتِنَا شَيْـًٔا ٱتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًا أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ ٩
45:9
Ahmed Ali
When he comes to know something of Our messages he makes fun of them: For them is shameful punishment.
Shakir
And when he comes to know of any of Our communications, he takes it for a jest; these it is that shall have abasing chastisement.

اور جب ہماری آیتوں میں سے کسی پر اطلاع پائے اس کی ہنسی بناتا ہے ان کے لیے خواری کا عذاب،
45:9 مِّن وَرَآئِهِمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَلَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُم مَّا كَسَبُوا۟ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا مَا ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَوْلِيَآءَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ ٠١
45:10
Ahmed Ali
There is Hell before them; and whatever they have earned will not avail them in the least, nor those whom they take as friends apart from God. There is great chastisement for them.
Shakir
Before them is hell, and there shall not avail them aught of what they earned, nor those whom they took for guardians besides Allah, and they shall have a grievous punishment.
Ahmed Raza Khan
ان کے پیچھے جہنم ہے (ف۹) اور انہیں کچھ کام نہ دے گا ان کا کمایا ہوا (ف۱۰) اور نہ وہ جو اللہ کے سوا حمایتی ٹھہرا رکھے تھے (ف۱۱) اور ان کے لیے بڑا عذاب ہے،
45:10 هَٰذَا هُدًى وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مِّن رِّجْزٍ أَلِيمٌ ١١
45:11
Ahmed Ali
This is guidance. Those who deny the revelations of their Lord will suffer a dreadful doom.
Shakir
This is guidance; and (as for) those who disbelieve in the communications of their Lord, they shall have a painful punishment on account of uncleanness.
Ahmed Raza Khan
یہ (ف۱۲) راہ دکھانا ہے اور جنہوں نے اپنے رب کی آیتوں کو نہ مانا ان کے لیے دردناک عذاب میں سے سخت تر عذاب ہے،
45:11 ۞ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى سَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلْبَحْرَ لِتَجْرِىَ ٱلْفُلْكُ فِيهِ بِأَمْرِهِۦ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ ٢١
45:12
Ahmed Ali
It is God who subjugated the ocean for you so that ships may ply through it by His command, and you may seek His bounty, and may haply be grateful.
Shakir
Allah is He Who made subservient to you the sea that the ships may run therein by His command, and that you may seek of His grace, and that you may give thanks.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اللہ ہے جس نے تمہارے بس میں دریا کردیا کہ اس میں اس کے حکم سے کشتیاں چلیں اور اس لیے کہ اس کا فضل تلاش کرو (ف۱۳) اور اس لیے کہ حق مانو (ف۱۴)
45:12 وَسَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا مِّنْهُ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ ٣١
45:13
Ahmed Ali
He subjugated for you whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth, each and everything. Verily there are signs in this for those who reflect.
Shakir
And He has made subservient to you whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, all, from Himself; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور تمہارے لیے کام میں لگائے جو کچھ آسمان میں ہیں (ف۱۵) اور جو کچھ زمین میں (ف۱۶) اپنے حکم سے بے شک اس میں نشا نیاں ہیں سوچنے والوں کے لئے،

Ahmed Ali
Tell the believers to forgive those who do not fear the visitations of God, so that He may requite the people for their deeds.
Shakir
Say to those who believe (that) they forgive those who do not fear the days of Allah that He may reward a people for what they earn.
Ahmed Raza Khan
ایمان وا لوں سے فرماؤ درگزریں ان سے جو اللہ کے دنوں کی امید نہیں رکھتے (ف۱۷) تاکہ اللہ ایک قوم کو اس کی کمائی کا بدلہ دے (ف۱۸)
45:14 مَنْ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحًا فَلِنَفْسِهِۦ وَمَنْ أَسَآءَ فَعَلَيْهَا ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ ٥١
45:15
Ahmed Ali
He who does good does so for himself; and he who does evil suffers the consequence thereof. You have then to go back to your Lord.
Shakir
Whoever does good, it is for his own soul, and whoever does evil, it is against himself; then you shall be brought back to your-- Lord.
Ahmed Raza Khan
جو بھلا کام کرے تو اپنے لیے اور برا کرے تو اپنے برے کو (ف۱۹) پھر اپنے رب کی طرف پھیرے جاؤ گے (ف۲۰)
45:15 وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحُكْمَ وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقْنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ وَفَضَّلْنَٰهُمْ عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ٦١
45:16
Ahmed Ali
We gave the children of Israel the Book, and the judgement and the prophethood, provided them with good things, favoured them over other people,
Shakir
And certainly We gave the Book and the wisdom and the prophecy to the children of Israel, and We gave them of the goodly things, and We made them excel the nations.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور بیشک ہم نے بنی اسرائیل کو کتاب (ف۲۱) اور حکومت اور نبوت عطا فرمائی (ف۲۲) اور ہم نے انہیں ستھری روزیاں دیں (ف۲۳) اور انہیں ان کے زمانے والوں پر فضیلت بخشی،
45:16 وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُم بَيِّنَٰتٍ مِّنَ ٱلْأَمْرِ فَمَا ٱخْتَلَفُوٓا۟ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْعِلْمُ بَغْيًۢا بَيْنَهُمْ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْضِى بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ ٧١
45:17
Ahmed Ali
And gave them a clear exposition of Our laws. And they did not differ until after knowledge came to them, through mutual jealousies. Verily your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgement in what they differed about.
Shakir
And We gave them clear arguments in the affair, but they did not differ until after knowledge had come to them out of envy among themselves; surely your -Lord will judge between them on the day of resurrection concerning that wherein they differed.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور ہم نے انہیں اس کام کی (ف۲۴) روشن دلیلیں دیں تو انہوں نے اختلاف نہ کیا (ف۲۵) مگر بعد اس کے کہ علم ان کے پاس آچکا (ف۲۶) آپس کے حسد سے (ف۲۷) بیشک تمہارا رب قیامت کے دن ان میں فیصلہ کردے گا جس بات میں اختلاف کرتے یں،
45:17 ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَٰكَ عَلَىٰ شَرِيعَةٍ مِّنَ ٱلْأَمْرِ فَٱتَّبِعْهَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَآءَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ٨١
45:18
Ahmed Ali
We have put you on the right way in the matter (of divine law). So follow it, and do not follow the wishes of those who are ignorant.
Shakir
Then We have made you follow a course in the affair, therefore follow it, and do not follow the low desires of those who do not know.
Ahmed Raza Khan
پھر ہم نے اس کام کے (ف۲۸) عمدہ راستہ پر تمہیں کیا (ف۲۹) تو اسی راہ پر چلو اور نادانوں کی خواہشوں کا ساتھ نہ دو (ف۳۰)
45:18 إِنَّهُمْ لَن يُغْنُوا۟ عَنكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيْـًٔا وَإِنَّ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍ وَٱللَّهُ وَلِىُّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ ٩١
45:19
Ahmed Ali
They will not avail you in the least against God. Surely the wicked are each other´s friends, but God befriends those who fear and follow the right path.
Shakir
Surely they shall not avail you in the least against Allah; and surely the unjust are friends of each other, and Allah is the guardian of those who guard (against evil).
Ahmed Raza Khan
بیشک وہ اللہ کے مقابل تمہیں کچھ کام نہ دیں گے، اور بیشک ظالم ایک دوسرے کے دوست ہیں (ف۳۱) اور ڈر والوں کا دوست اللہ (ف۳۲)
45:19 هَٰذَا بَصَٰٓئِرُ لِلنَّاسِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ ٠٢
45:20
Ahmed Ali
These are precepts of wisdom for men, and guidance and grace for people who believe with certainty.
Shakir
These are clear proofs for men, and a guidance and a mercy for a people who are sure.
Ahmed Raza Khan
یہ لوگوں کی آنکھیں کھولنا ہے (ف۳۳) اور ایمان والوں کے لیے ہدایت و رحمت،
45:20 أَمْ حَسِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱجْتَرَحُوا۟ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ أَن نَّجْعَلَهُمْ كَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَوَآءً مَّحْيَاهُمْ وَمَمَاتُهُمْ سَآءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ ١٢
45:21
Ahmed Ali
Do those who seek evil think that We shall make them equal in life and death to those who believe and do good? How bad is the judgement that they make!
Shakir
Nay! do those who have wrought evil deeds think that We will make them like those who believe and do good-- that their life and their death shall be equal? Evil it is that they judge.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کیا جنہوں نے برائیوں کا ارتکاب کیا (ف۳۴) یہ سمجھتے ہیں کہ ہم انہیں ان جیسا کردیں گے جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کیے کہ ان کی ان کی زندگی اور موت برابر ہوجائے (ف۳۵) کیا ہی برا حکم لگاتے ہیں،
45:21 وَخَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ ٢٢
45:22
Ahmed Ali
God has created the heavens and the earth with reason, so that He may reward each soul in accordance with what it has done; and no wrong will be done to them.
Shakir
And Allah created the heavens and the earth with truth and that every soul may be rewarded for what it has earned and they shall not be wronged.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اللہ نے آسمان اور (ف۳۶) زمین کو حق کے ساتھ بنایا (ف۳۷) اور اس لیے کہ ہر جان اپنے کیے کا بدلہ پائے (ف۳۸) اور ان پر ظلم نہ ہوگا،
