أَجْنِحَةٍ
مَّثْنَىٰ
وَثُلَٰثَ
وَرُبَٰعَ
يَزِيدُ
فِى
ٱلْخَلْقِ
مَا
يَشَآءُ
إِنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
عَلَىٰ
كُلِّ
شَىْءٍ
قَدِيرٌ

Ahmed Ali
Say: "The truth has come, and falsehood had neither precedence nor will reappear."
Shakir
Say: The truth has come, and the falsehood shall vanish and shall not come back.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تم فرماؤ حق آیا (ف ۱۲۹) اور باطل نہ پہل کرے اور نہ پھر کر آئے (ف۱۳۰)
34:49 قُلْ إِن ضَلَلْتُ فَإِنَّمَآ أَضِلُّ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِى وَإِنِ ٱهْتَدَيْتُ فَبِمَا يُوحِىٓ إِلَىَّ رَبِّىٓ إِنَّهُۥ سَمِيعٌ قَرِيبٌ ٠٥
34:50
Ahmed Ali
Say: "If I am in error it is to my own loss; if I am on guidance that is so because of what my Lord reveals to me. He is all-hearing and all-too-near."
Shakir
Say: If I err, I err only against my own soul, and if I follow a right direction, it is because of what my Lord reveals to me; surely He is Hearing, Nigh.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تم فرماؤ اگر میں بہکا تو اپنے ہی برے کو بہکا (ف۱۳۱) اور اگر میں نے راہ پائی تو اس کے سبب جو میرا رب میری طرف وحی فرماتا ہے (ف۱۳۲) بیشک وہ سننے والا نزدیک ہے (ف۱۳۳)
34:50 وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إِذْ فَزِعُوا۟ فَلَا فَوْتَ وَأُخِذُوا۟ مِن مَّكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ ١٥
34:51
Ahmed Ali
If you could see when they are gripped by terror without any escape, and are seized from close at hand
Shakir
And could you see when they shall become terrified, but (then) there shall be no escape and they shall be seized upon from a near place
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور کسی طرح تو دیکھے (ف۱۳۴) جب وہ گھبراہٹ میں ڈالے جائیں گے پھر بچ کر نہ نکل سکیں گے (ف۱۳۵) اور ایک قریب جگہ سے پکڑ لیے جائیں گے (ف۱۳۶)
34:51 وَقَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ ٱلتَّنَاوُشُ مِن مَّكَانٍۭ بَعِيدٍ ٢٥
34:52
Ahmed Ali
They will say: "We believe in it." How could they reach it from a place of no return?
Shakir
And they shall say: We believe in it. And how shall the attaining (of faith) be possible to them from a distant place?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور کہیں گے ہم اس پر ایمان لائے (ف۱۳۷) اور اب وہ اسے کیونکر پائیں اتنی دور جگہ سے (ف۱۳۸)
34:52 وَقَدْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ مِن قَبْلُ وَيَقْذِفُونَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ مِن مَّكَانٍۭ بَعِيدٍ ٣٥

Ahmed Ali
They had surely denied it before and aimed without seeing from so far away.
Shakir
And they disbelieved in it before, and they utter conjectures with regard to the unseen from a distant place.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کہ پہلے (ف۱۳۹) تو اس سے کفر کرچکے تھے، اور بے دیکھے پھینک مارتے ہیں (ف۱۴۰) دور مکان سے (ف۱۴۱)
34:53 وَحِيلَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ مَا يَشْتَهُونَ كَمَا فُعِلَ بِأَشْيَاعِهِم مِّن قَبْلُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ فِى شَكٍّ مُّرِيبٍۭ ٤٥
34:54
Ahmed Ali
A barrier shall be raised between them and what they desired, as was done with their partisans before. They too were filled with disquieting doubt.
Shakir
And a barrier shall be placed between them and that which they desire, as was done with the likes of them before: surely they are in a disquieting doubt.

اور روک کردی گئی ان میں اور اس میں جسے چاہتے ہیں (ف۱۴۲) جیسے ان کے پہلے گروہوں سے کیا گیا تھا (ف۱۴۳) بیشک وہ دھوکا ڈالنے والے شک میں تھے (ف۱۴۴)

ALL PRAISE BE to God, the originator of the heavens and the earth, who appointed angels as His messengers, with wings, two, three and four. He adds what He pleases to His creation. He has certainly power over everything.
Shakir
All praise is due to Allah, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, the Maker of the angels, messengers flying on wings, two, and three, and four; He increases in creation what He pleases; surely Allah has power over all things.
Ahmed Raza Khan
سب خوبیاں اللہ کو جو آسمانوں اور زمین کا بنانے والا فرشتوں کو رسول کرنے والا (ف۲) جن کے دو دو تین تین چار چار پر ہیں، بڑھاتا ہے آفرینش (پیدائش) میں جو چاہے (ف۳) بیشک اللہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے،
35:1 مَّا يَفْتَحِ ٱللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِن رَّحْمَةٍ فَلَا مُمْسِكَ لَهَا وَمَا يُمْسِكْ فَلَا مُرْسِلَ لَهُۥ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٢
35:2
Ahmed Ali
There is none who can take away the favours He bestows on man; and there is none apart from Him to restore what He has withheld. He is all-mighty and all-wise.
Shakir
Whatever Allah grants to men of (His) mercy, there is none to withhold it, and what He withholds there is none to send it forth after that, and He is the Mighty, the Wise
Ahmed Raza Khan
اللہ جو رحمت لوگوں کے لیے کھولے (ف۴) اس کا کوئی روکنے والا نہیں، اور جو کچھ روک لے تو اس کی روک کے بعد اس کا کوئی چھوڑنے والا نہیں، اور وہی عزت و حکمت والا ہے،
35:2 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ هَلْ مِنْ خَٰلِقٍ غَيْرُ ٱللَّهِ يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ ٣
35:3
Ahmed Ali
O you people, remember the favours of God to you. Is there any creator other than God who gives you food from the heavens and the earth? There is no god but He: How then can you turn aside?
Shakir
O men! call to mind the favor of Allah on you; is there any creator besides Allah who gives you sustenance from the heaven and the earth? There is no god but He; whence are you then turned away?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اے لوگو! اپنے اوپر اللہ کا احسان یاد کرو (ف۵) کیا اللہ کے سوا اور بھی کوئی خالق ہے کہ آسمان اور زمین سے (ف۶) تمہیں روزی دے، اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، تو تم کہاں اوندھے جاتے ہو (ف۷)

Ahmed Ali
If they call you a liar, so have other messengers been denied before you. But all things will be brought back to God.
Shakir
And if they call you a liar, truly messengers before you were called liars, and to Allah are all affairs returned.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اگر یہ تمہیں جھٹلائیں (ف۸) تو بیشک تم سے پہلے کتنے ہی رسول جھٹلائے گئے (ف۹) اور سب کام اللہ ہی کی طرف سے پھرتے ہیں (ف۱۰)
35:4 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْغَرُورُ ٥
35:5
Ahmed Ali
O you people, the promise of God is true. So do not let the life of this world delude you, nor let that (arch) deceiver deceive you about God.
Shakir
O men! surely the promise of Allah is true, therefore let not the life of this world deceive you, and let not the archdeceiver deceive you respecting Allah.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اے لوگو! بیشک اللہ کا وعدہ سچ ہے (ف۱۱) تو ہرگز تمہیں دھوکا نہ دے دنیا کی زندگی، (ف۱۲) اور ہرگز تمہیں اللہ کے حکم پر فریب نہ دے وہ بڑا فریبی (ف۱۳)
35:5 إِنَّ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَٱتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّا إِنَّمَا يَدْعُوا۟ حِزْبَهُۥ لِيَكُونُوا۟ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ ٦
35:6
Ahmed Ali
Satan is certainly your enemy, so hold him as a foe. He only calls his faction to be the residents of Hell.
Shakir
Surely the Shaitan is your enemy, so take him for an enemy; he only invites his party that they may be inmates of the burning
Ahmed Raza Khan
بیشک شیطان تمہارا دشمن ہے تو تم بھی اسے دشمن سمجھو (ف۱۴) وہ تو اپنے گروہ کو (ف۱۵) اسی لیے بلاتا ہے کہ دوزخیوں میں ہوں (ف۱۶)
35:6 ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ ٧
35:7
Ahmed Ali
For those who are unbelievers, there is severe punishment; but for those who believe and do the right is forgiveness and a great reward.
Shakir
(As for) those who disbelieve, they shall have a severe punishment, and (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have forgiveness and a great reward.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کافروں کے لیے (ف۱۷) سخت عذاب ہے، اور جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کیے (ف۱۸) ان کے لیے بخشش اور بڑا ثواب ہے،
35:7 أَفَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُۥ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهِۦ فَرَءَاهُ حَسَنًا فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ فَلَا تَذْهَبْ نَفْسُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسَرَٰتٍ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ ٨
35:8
Ahmed Ali
Can he, the evil of whose deed is made to look attractive to him so that he considers it good, (be like him who is guided)? God leads whosoever He please astray and guides whosoever He will. So do not waste away your self with grief for them. God is indeed cognisant of things they do.
Shakir
What! is he whose evil deed is made fairseeming to him so much so that he considers it good? Now surely Allah makes err whom He pleases and guides aright whom He pleases, so let not your soul waste away in grief for them; surely Allah is Cognizant of what they do

تو کیا وہ جس کی نگاہ میں اس کا برا کام آراستہ کیا گیا کہ اس نے اسے بھلا سمجھا ہدایت والے کی طرح ہوجائے گا (ف۱۹) اس لیے اللہ گمراہ کرتا ہے جسے چاہے اور راہ دیتا ہے جسے چاہے، تو تمہاری جان ان پر حسرتوں میں نہ جائے (ف۲۰) اللہ خوب جانتا ہے جو کچھ وہ کرتے ہیں،
35:8 وَٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَرْسَلَ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابًا فَسُقْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٍ مَّيِّتٍ فَأَحْيَيْنَا بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا كَذَٰلِكَ ٱلنُّشُورُ ٩
35:9
Ahmed Ali
It is God who sends the winds that raise the clouds. Then We drive the clouds towards the land that was dead, and restore the earth to life after it had died. So will be the Resurrection.
Shakir
And Allah is He Who sends the winds so they raise a cloud, then We drive it on to a dead country, and therewith We give life to the earth after its death; even so is the quickening.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اللہ ہے جس نے بھیجیں ہوائیں کہ بادل ابھارتی ہیں، پھر ہم اسے کسی مردہ شہر کی طرف رواں کرتے ہیں (ف۲۱) تو اس کے سبب ہم زمین کو زندہ فرماتے ہیں اس کے مرے پیچھے (ف۲۲) یونہی حشر میں اٹھنا ہے (ف۲۳)
35:9 مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ٱلْعِزَّةَ فَلِلَّهِ ٱلْعِزَّةُ جَمِيعًا إِلَيْهِ يَصْعَدُ ٱلْكَلِمُ ٱلطَّيِّبُ وَٱلْعَمَلُ ٱلصَّٰلِحُ يَرْفَعُهُۥ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَمْكُرُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ وَمَكْرُ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُوَ يَبُورُ ٠١
35:10
Ahmed Ali
Whosoever desires honour (should remember) that all honour is with God. All good words ascend to Him, and all good deeds He exalts. As for those who are plotting evil, there is severe punishment for them, and their plots will be fruitless.
Shakir
Whoever desires honor, then to Allah belongs the honor wholly. To Him do ascend the good words; and the good deeds, lift them up, and (as for) those who plan evil deeds, they shall have a severe chastisement; and (as for) their plan, it shall perish.
Ahmed Raza Khan
جسے عزت کی چاہ ہو تو عزت تو سب اللہ کے ہاتھ ہے (ف۲۴) اسی کی طرف چڑھتا ہے پاکیزہ کلام (ف۲۵) اور جو نیک کام سے وہ اسے بلند کرتا ہے (ف۲۶) اور وہ جو برے داؤں (فریب) کرتے ہیں ان کے لیے سخت عذاب ہے (ف۲۷) اور انہیں کا مکر برباد ہوگا (ف۲۸
35:10 وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًا وَمَا تَحْمِلُ مِنْ أُنثَىٰ وَلَا تَضَعُ إِلَّا بِعِلْمِهِۦ وَمَا يُعَمَّرُ مِن مُّعَمَّرٍ وَلَا يُنقَصُ مِنْ عُمُرِهِۦٓ إِلَّا فِى كِتَٰبٍ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ ١١
35:11
Ahmed Ali
It is God who created you from dust, then from a sperm, then formed you into pairs. Neither does a female conceive nor gives birth without His knowledge; nor do the old grow older or become younger in years but in accordance with the law (of nature). Indeed the law of God works inevitably.
Shakir
And Allah created you of dust, then of the life-germ, then He made you pairs; and no female bears, nor does she bring forth, except with His knowledge; and no one whose life is lengthened has his life lengthened, nor is aught diminished of one´s life, but it is all in a book; surely this is easy to Allah.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اللہ نے تمہیں بنایا (ف۲۹) مٹی سے پھر (ف۳۰) پانی کی بوند سے پھر تمہیں کیا جوڑے جوڑے (ف۳۱) اور کسی مادہ کو پیٹ نہیں رہتا اور نہ وہ جتنی ہے مگر اس کے علم سے، اور جس بڑی عمر والے کو عمر دی جائے یا جس کسی کی عمر کم رکھی جائے یہ سب ایک کتاب میں ہے (ف۳۲) بیشک یہ اللہ کو آسان ہے (ف۳۳)
35:11
