الم
32:1 تَنزِيلُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ٢
32:2
Ahmed Ali
The revelation of this Book free of doubt and involution is from the Lord of all the worlds.
Shakir
The revelation of the Book, there is no doubt in it, is from the Lord of the worlds.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کتاب کا اتارنا (ف۲) بیشک پروردگار عالم کی طرف سے ہے،
32:2 أَمْ يَقُولُونَ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ بَلْ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّآ أَتَىٰهُم مِّن نَّذِيرٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ ٣
32:3
Ahmed Ali
Or do they say he has fabricated it? In fact, it is the truth from your Lord so that you may warn the people to whom no admonisher was sent before you. They may haply come to guidance.
Shakir
Or do they say: He has forged it? Nay! it is the truth from your Lord that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you, that they may follow the right direction.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کیا کہتے ہیں (ف۳) ان کی بنائی ہوئی ہے (ف۴) بلکہ وہی حق ہے تمہارے رب کی طرف سے کہ تم ڈراؤ ایسے لوگوں کو جن کے پاس تم سے پہلے کوئی ڈر سنانے والا نہ آیا (ف۵) اس امید پر کہ وہ راہ پائیں،
32:3 ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ مَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَلِىٍّ وَلَا شَفِيعٍ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ ٤
32:4
Ahmed Ali
It is God who created the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, in six spans, then assumed all authority. You have no protector other than Him, nor any intercessor. Will you not be warned even then?
Shakir
Allah is He Who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six periods, and He mounted the throne (of authority); you have not besides Him any guardian or any intercessor, will you not then mind?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اللہ ہے جس نے آسمان اور زمین اور جو کچھ ان کے بیچ میں ہے چھ دن میں بنائے پھر عرش پر استوا فرمایا (ف۶) اس سے چھوٹ کر (لا تعلق ہوکر) تمہارا کوئی حمایتی اور نہ سفارشی (ف۷) تو کیا تم دھیان نہیں کرتے،
32:4 يُدَبِّرُ ٱلْأَمْرَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ يَعْرُجُ إِلَيْهِ فِى يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُۥٓ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ ٥
32:5
Ahmed Ali
He regulates all affairs from high to low, then they rise to perfection step by step in a (heavenly) day whose measure is a thousand years of your reckoning.
Shakir
He regulates the affair from the heaven to the earth; then shall it ascend to Him in a day the measure of which is a thousand years of what you count.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کام کی تدبیر فرماتا ہے آسمان سے زمین تک (ف۸) پھر اسی کی طرف رجوع کرے گا (ف۹) اس دن کہ جس کی مقدار ہزار برس ہے تمہاری گنتی میں (ف۱۰)
32:5 ذَٰلِكَ عَٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ٦
32:6
Ahmed Ali
Such is (He) the knower of the unknown and the known, the mighty and the merciful,
Shakir
This is the Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Mighty the Merciful,
Ahmed Raza Khan
یہ (ف۱۱) ہے ہر نہاں اور عیاں کا جاننے والا عزت و رحمت والا،
32:6 ٱلَّذِىٓ أَحْسَنَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقَهُۥ وَبَدَأَ خَلْقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنِ مِن طِينٍ ٧
32:7
Ahmed Ali
Who made all things He created excellent; and first fashioned man from clay,
Shakir
Who made good everything that He has created, and He began the creation of man from dust.
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہ جس نے جو چیز بتائی خوب بنائی (ف۲۱) اور پیدائش انسان کی ابتدا مٹی سے فرمائی (ف۱۳)
32:7 ثُمَّ جَعَلَ نَسْلَهُۥ مِن سُلَٰلَةٍ مِّن مَّآءٍ مَّهِينٍ ٨
32:8
Ahmed Ali
Then made his offspring from the extract of base fluid,
Shakir
Then He made his progeny of an extract, of water held in light estimation.
Ahmed Raza Khan
پھر اس کی نسل رکھی ایک بے قدر پانی کے خلاصہ سے (ف۱۴)
32:8 ثُمَّ سَوَّىٰهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِهِۦ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ ٩
32:9
Ahmed Ali
Then proportioned and breathed into him of His spirit, and gave you the senses of hearing, sight and feeling. And yet how little are the thanks you offer!
Shakir
Then He made him complete and breathed into him of His spirit, and made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks.
Ahmed Raza Khan
پھر اسے ٹھیک کیا اور اس میں اپنی طرف کی روح پھونکی (ف۱۵) اور تمہیں کان اور آنکھیں اور دل عطا فرمائے (ف۱۶) کیا ہی تھوڑا حق مانتے ہو،
32:9 وَقَالُوٓا۟ أَءِذَا ضَلَلْنَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَءِنَّا لَفِى خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍۭ بَلْ هُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّهِمْ كَٰفِرُونَ ٠١
32:10
Ahmed Ali
But they say: "When we have mingled with the earth, shall we be created anew?" In fact they deny the meeting with their Lord.
Shakir
And they say: What! when we have become lost in the earth, shall we then certainly be in a new creation? Nay! they are disbelievers in the meeting of their Lord.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور بولے (ف۱۷) کیا جب ہم مٹی میں مل جائیں گے (ف۱۸) کیا پھر نئے بنیں گے، بلکہ وہ اپنے رب کے حضور حاضری سے منکر ہیں (ف۱۹)
32:10 ۞ قُلْ يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم مَّلَكُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ٱلَّذِى وُكِّلَ بِكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ ١١
32:11
Ahmed Ali
Say: "The angel of death appointed over you will take away your soul, then you will be sent back to your Lord."
Shakir
Say: The angel of death who is given charge of you shall cause you to die, then to your Lord you shall be brought back.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تم فرماؤ تمہیں وفات دیتا ہے موت کا فرشتہ جو تم پر مقرر ہے (ف۲۰) پھر اپنے رب کی طرف واپس جاؤ گے (ف۲۱)

تَرَىٰٓ
إِذِ
ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
نَاكِسُوا۟
رُءُوسِهِمْ
عِندَ
رَبِّهِمْ
رَبَّنَآ
أَبْصَرْنَا
وَسَمِعْنَا
فَٱرْجِعْنَا
نَعْمَلْ
صَٰلِحًا
إِنَّا
مُوقِنُونَ

Ahmed Ali
If only you could see when the sinners will stand before their Lord, heads hung low, (and say:) "O Lord, we have seen and heard. So send us back. We shall do the right, for we have come to believe with certainty."
Shakir
And could you but see when the guilty shall hang down their heads before their Lord: Our Lord! we have seen and we have heard, therefore send us back, we will do good; surely (now) we are certain.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور کہیں تم دیکھو جب مجرم (ف۲۲) اپنے رب کے پاس سر نیچے ڈالے ہوں گے (ف۲۳) اے ہمارے رب اب ہم نے دیکھا (ف۲۴) اور سنا (ف۲۵) ہمیں پھر بھیج کہ نیک کام کریں ہم کو یقین آگیا (ف۲۶)
32:12 وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَءَاتَيْنَا كُلَّ نَفْسٍ هُدَىٰهَا وَلَٰكِنْ حَقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ مِنِّى لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ ٣١
32:13
Ahmed Ali
Had We intended We could have given every soul its guidance; but inevitable is My word that I will fill up Hell with men and jinns together.
Shakir
And if We had pleased We would certainly have given to every soul its guidance, but the word (which had gone forth) from Me was just: I will certainly fill hell with the jinn and men together.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اگر ہم چاہتے ہر جان کو اس کی ہدایت فرماتے (ف۲۷) مگر میری بات قرار پاچکی کہ ضرور جہنم کو بھردوں گا ان جِنوں اور آدمیوں سب سے (ف۲۸)
32:13 فَذُوقُوا۟ بِمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَٰذَآ إِنَّا نَسِينَٰكُمْ وَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْخُلْدِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ٤١
32:14
Ahmed Ali
So now suffer. As you forgot the meeting of this your Day of Doom, so have We forgotten you. Now taste the everlasting punishment for your deeds.
Shakir
So taste, because you neglected the meeting of this day of yours; surely We forsake you; and taste the abiding chastisement for what you did.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اب چکھو بدلہ اس کا کہ تم اپنے اس دن کی حاضری بھولے تھے (ف۲۹) ہم نے تمہیں چھوڑ دیا (ف۳۰) اب ہمیشہ کا عذاب چکھو اپنے کیے کا بدلہ،
32:14 إِنَّمَا يُؤْمِنُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهَا خَرُّوا۟ سُجَّدًا وَسَبَّحُوا۟ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ۩ ٥١
32:15
Ahmed Ali
Only they believe in Our revelations who, when they are reminded, bow in adoration, and give praise to their Lord, and do not become arrogant.
Shakir
Only they believe in Our communications who, when they are reminded of them, fall down in prostration and celebrate the praise of their Lord, and they are not proud.
Ahmed Raza Khan
ہماری آیتوں پر وہی ایمان لاتے ہیں کہ جب وہ انہیں یاد دلائی جاتی ہیں سجدہ میں گر جاتے ہیں (ف۳۱) اور اپنے رب کی تعریف کرتے ہوئے اس کی پاکی بولتے ہیں اور تکبر نہیں کرتے، السجدة۔۹
32:15 تَتَجَافَىٰ جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ ٱلْمَضَاجِعِ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ ٦١
32:16
Ahmed Ali
Their backs do not rest on their beds, and they pray to their Lord in fear and hope, and spend of what We have given them (in charity).
Shakir
Their sides draw away from (their) beds, they call upon their Lord in fear and in hope, and they spend (benevolently) out of what We have given them.
Ahmed Raza Khan
ان کی کروٹیں جدا ہوتی ہیں خوابگاہوں ہسے (ف۳۲) اور اپنے رب کو پکارتے ہیں ڈرتے اور امید کرتے (ف۳۳) اور ہمارے دیے ہوئے سے کچھ خیرات کرتے ہیں،
32:16 فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَّآ أُخْفِىَ لَهُم مِّن قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ٧١
32:17
Ahmed Ali
No soul knows what peace and joy lie hidden from them as reward for what they have done.
Shakir
So no soul knows what is hidden for them of that which will refresh the eyes; a reward for what they did.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو کسی جی کو نہیں معلوم جو آنکھ کی ٹھنڈک ان کے لیے چھپا رکھی ہے (ف۳۴) صلہ ان کے کاموں کا (ف۳۵)
32:17 أَفَمَن كَانَ مُؤْمِنًا كَمَن كَانَ فَاسِقًا لَّا يَسْتَوُۥنَ ٨١
32:18
Ahmed Ali
Is one who is a believer like one who is a transgressor? No, they are not alike.
Shakir
Is he then who is a believer like him who is a transgressor? They are not equal.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو کیا جو ایمان والا ہے وہ اس جیسا ہوجائے گا جو بے حکم ہے (ف۳۶) یہ برابر نہیں،
32:18 أَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمْ جَنَّٰتُ ٱلْمَأْوَىٰ نُزُلًۢا بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ٩١
32:19
Ahmed Ali
As for those who believe and do the right, there are gardens for abode as welcome for what they had done.
Shakir
As for those who believe and do good, the gardens are their abiding-place; an entertainment for what they did.
Ahmed Raza Khan
جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کیے ان کے لیے بسنے کے باغ ہیں، ان کے کاموں کے صلہ میں مہمانداری (ف۳۷)
32:19 وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ فَسَقُوا۟ فَمَأْوَىٰهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ كُلَّمَآ أَرَادُوٓا۟ أَن يَخْرُجُوا۟ مِنْهَآ أُعِيدُوا۟ فِيهَا وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ ذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ ٠٢
32:20
Ahmed Ali
As for those who disobey, their abode is Hell. Whensoever they wish to escape from it they would be dragged back into it, and told: "Taste the torment of the Fire which you used to call a lie."
Shakir
And as for those who transgress, their abode is the fire; whenever they desire to go forth from it they shall be brought back into it, and it will be said to them: Taste the chastisement of the fire which you called a lie.
Ahmed Raza Khan
رہے وہ جو بے حکم ہیں (ف۳۸) ان کا ٹھکانا آ گ ہے، جب کبھی اس میں سے نکلنا چاہیں گے پھر اسی میں پھیر دیے جائیں گے اور ان سے کہا جائے گا چکھو اس آگ کا عذاب جسے تم جھٹلاتے تھے،
