26:1

طٰسم
26:1 تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ ٢
26:2
Ahmed Ali
These are the verses of the perspicuous Book.
Shakir
These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear.
Ahmed Raza Khan
یہ آیتیں ہیں روشن کتا ب کی (ف۲)
26:2 لَعَلَّكَ بَٰخِعٌ نَّفْسَكَ أَلَّا يَكُونُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ ٣
26:3
Ahmed Ali
You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief.
Shakir
Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کہیں تم اپنی جان پر کھیل جاؤ گے ان کے غم میں کہ وہ ایمان نہیں لائے (ف۳)
26:3 إِن نَّشَأْ نُنَزِّلْ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ ءَايَةً فَظَلَّتْ أَعْنَٰقُهُمْ لَهَا خَٰضِعِينَ ٤
26:4
Ahmed Ali
We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed.
Shakir
If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اگر ہم چاہیں تو آسمان سے ان پر کوئی نشانی اتاریں کہ ان کے اونچے اونچے اس کے حضور جھکے رہ جائیں (ف۴)
26:4 وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن ذِكْرٍ مِّنَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ مُحْدَثٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ عَنْهُ مُعْرِضِينَ ٥
26:5
Ahmed Ali
Never does a new reminder come to them from Ar-Rahman but they turn away from it.
Shakir
And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور نہیں آتی ان کے پاس رحمٰان کی طرف سے کوئی نئی نصیحت مگر اس سے منہ پھیر لیتے ہیں (ف۵)
26:5 فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا۟ فَسَيَأْتِيهِمْ أَنۢبَٰٓؤُا۟ مَا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ ٦
26:6
Ahmed Ali
Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at.
Shakir
So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو بیشک انہوں نے جھٹلایا تو اب ان پر آیا چاہتی ہیں خبریں ان کے ٹھٹھے کی (ف۶)
26:6 أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ كَمْ أَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍ كَرِيمٍ ٧
26:7
Ahmed Ali
Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it?
Shakir
Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it?
Ahmed Raza Khan
کیا انہوں نے زمین کو نہ دیکھا ہم نے اس میں کتنے عزت والے جوڑے اگائے (ف۷)
26:7 إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ٨
26:8
Ahmed Ali
Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe.
Shakir
Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe.
Ahmed Raza Khan
بیشک اس میں ضرور نشانی ہے (ف۸) اور ان کے اکثر ایمان لانے والے نہیں،
26:8 وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ٩
26:9
Ahmed Ali
Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful.
Shakir
And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور بیشک تمہارا رب ضرور وہی عزت والا مہربان ہے (ف۹)
26:9 وَإِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبُّكَ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱئْتِ ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ٠١
26:10
Ahmed Ali
When your Lord called upon Moses: "Go to the wicked people,
Shakir
And when your Lord called out to Musa, saying: Go to the unjust people,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور یاد کرو جب تمہارے رب نے موسیٰ کو ندا فرمائی کہ ظالم لوگوں کے پاس جا،
26:10 قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ أَلَا يَتَّقُونَ ١١
26:11
Ahmed Ali
The people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear and take heed?"
Shakir
The people of Firon: Will they not guard (against evil)?
Ahmed Raza Khan
جو فرعون کی قوم ہے (ف۱۰) کیا وہ نہ ڈریں گے (ف۱۱)
26:11 قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ أَن يُكَذِّبُونِ ٢١
26:12
Ahmed Ali
: He said: "O Lord, I fear that they will deny me.
Shakir
He said: O my Lord! surely I fear that they will reject me;
Ahmed Raza Khan
عرض کی کہ اے میرے رب میں ڈرتا ہوں کہ مجھے جھٹلا ئیں گے،
26:12 وَيَضِيقُ صَدْرِى وَلَا يَنطَلِقُ لِسَانِى فَأَرْسِلْ إِلَىٰ هَٰرُونَ ٣١
26:13
Ahmed Ali
My heart is constrained, my tongue falters, so delegate Aaron;
Shakir
And by breast straitens, and my tongue is not eloquent, therefore send Thou to Haroun (to help me);
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور میرا سینہ تنگی کرتا ہے (ف۱۲) اور میری زبان نہیں چلتی (ف۱۳) تو توُ ہا رون کو بھی رسول کر، (ف۱۴)
26:13 وَلَهُمْ عَلَىَّ ذَنۢبٌ فَأَخَافُ أَن يَقْتُلُونِ ٤١
26:14
Ahmed Ali
And they have a charge (of murder) against me. So I fear that they will kill me."
Shakir
And they have a crime against me, therefore I fear that they may slay me.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور ان کا مجھ پر ایک الزام ہے (ف۱۵) تو میں ڈرتا ہو ں کہیں مجھے (ف۱۶) کر دیں،
26:14 قَالَ كَلَّا فَٱذْهَبَا بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّسْتَمِعُونَ ٥١
26:15
Ahmed Ali
(It was) said: "By no means. Go with My signs, both of you. I am verily with you and I hear.
Shakir
He said: By no means, so go you both with Our signs; surely We are with you, hearing;
Ahmed Raza Khan
فرما یا یوں نہیں (ف ۱۷) تم دو نوں میری آئتیں لے کر جا ؤ ہم تمھا رے ساتھ سنتے ہیں (ف۱۸)
26:15 فَأْتِيَا فِرْعَوْنَ فَقُولَآ إِنَّا رَسُولُ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ٦١
26:16
Ahmed Ali
Go to the Pharaoh and tell him: ´We bring a message from the Lord of all the worlds
Shakir
Then come to Firon and say: Surely we are the messengers of the Lord of the worlds:
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو فرعون کے پاس جاؤ پھر اس سے کہو ہم دونو ں اسکے رسل ہیں جو رب ہے سارے جہا ں کا،
26:16 أَنْ أَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٧١
26:17
Ahmed Ali
That you should send the children of Israel with us.´
Shakir
Then send with us the children of Israel.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کہ تو ہما رے ساتھ بنی اسرائیل کو چھوڑ دے (ف۱۹)
26:17 قَالَ أَلَمْ نُرَبِّكَ فِينَا وَلِيدًا وَلَبِثْتَ فِينَا مِنْ عُمُرِكَ سِنِينَ ٨١
26:18
Ahmed Ali
(The Pharaoh) said: "Did we not bring you up as a child? And you lived a number of years of your life with us.
Shakir
(Firon) said: Did we not bring you up as a child among us, and you tarried among us for (many) years of your life?
Ahmed Raza Khan
بو لا کیا ہم نے تمھیں اپنے یہاں بچپن میں نہ پالا اور تم نے ہما رے یہا ں اپنی عمر کے کئی برس گزارے، ف۲۰)
26:18 وَفَعَلْتَ فَعْلَتَكَ ٱلَّتِى فَعَلْتَ وَأَنتَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ ٩١
26:19
Ahmed Ali
And you commited what you did, and you are ungrateful!"
Shakir
And you did (that) deed of yours which you did, and you are one of the ungrateful.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور تم نے کیا اپنا وہ کام جو تم نے کیا (ف۲۱) اور تم نا شکر تھے (ف۲۲)

(Moses) replied: "I did do that and I was in the wrong,
Shakir
He said: I did it then while I was of those unable to see the right course;
Ahmed Raza Khan
موسٰی نے فر ما یا میں نے وہ کام کیا جب کہ مجھے راہ کی خبر نہ تھی (ف۲۳)
26:20 فَفَرَرْتُ مِنكُمْ لَمَّا خِفْتُكُمْ فَوَهَبَ لِى رَبِّى حُكْمًا وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ ١٢
26:21
Ahmed Ali
So I ran away from you out of fear. But my Lord has given me wisdom, and made me an apostle.
Shakir
So I fled from you when I feared you, then my Lord granted me wisdom and made me of the messengers;
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو میں تمھا رے یہا ں سے نکل گیا جب کے تم سے ڈرا (ف۲۴) تو میرے رب نے مجھے حکم عطا فرمایا (ف۲۵) اور مجھے پیغمبروں سے کیا،
26:21 وَتِلْكَ نِعْمَةٌ تَمُنُّهَا عَلَىَّ أَنْ عَبَّدتَّ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٢٢
26:22
Ahmed Ali
But the favour you oblige me with is that you have enslaved the children of Israel."
Shakir
And is it a favor of which you remind me that you have enslaved the children of Israel?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور یہ کوئی نعمت ہے جس کا تو مجھ پر احسان جتاتا ہے کہ تو نے غَلام بناکر رکھے بنی اسرائیل (ف۲۶)
26:22 قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ وَمَا رَبُّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ٣٢
26:23
Ahmed Ali
The Pharaoh asked: "And what is the Lord of all the worlds?"
Shakir
Firon said: And what is the Lord of the worlds?
Ahmed Raza Khan
فرعون بولا اور سارے جہان کا رب کیا ہے (ف۲۷)
26:23 قَالَ رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ ٤٢
26:24
Ahmed Ali
(Moses) said: "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, if you can believe."
Shakir
He said: The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, if you would be sure.
Ahmed Raza Khan
موسیٰ نے فرمایا رب آسمانوں اور زمین کا اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان میں ہے، اگر تمہیں یقین ہو (ف۲۸)
26:24 قَالَ لِمَنْ حَوْلَهُۥٓ أَلَا تَسْتَمِعُونَ ٥٢
26:25
Ahmed Ali
(The Pharaoh) said to those around him: "Do you hear?"
Shakir
(Firon) said to those around him: Do you not hear?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اپنے آس پاس والوں سے بولا کیا تم غور سے سنتے نہیں (ف۲۹)
26:25 قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ٦٢
26:26
Ahmed Ali
(Moses continued): "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers before you."
Shakir
He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of old.
Ahmed Raza Khan
موسیٰ نے فرمایا رب تمہارا اور تمہارے اگلے باپ داداؤں کا (ف۳۰)
26:26 قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَكُمُ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ لَمَجْنُونٌ ٧٢
26:27
Ahmed Ali
(The Pharaoh) said (to his nobles): "Your apostle who has been sent to you, is certainly mad."
Shakir
Said he: Most surely your Messenger who is sent to you is mad.
Ahmed Raza Khan
بولا تمہارے یہ رسول جو تمہاری طرف بھیجے گئے ہیں ضرور عقل نہیں رکھتے (ف۳۱)
26:27 قَالَ رَبُّ ٱلْمَشْرِقِ وَٱلْمَغْرِبِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ ٨٢
26:28
Ahmed Ali
(Moses) said: "The Lord of the East and the Lord of the West and all that lies between them, if you have sense."
Shakir
He said: The Lord of the east and the west and what is between them, if you understand.
Ahmed Raza Khan
موسیٰ نے فرمایا رب پورب (مشرق) اور پچھم(مغرب) کا اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان ہے (ف۳۲) اگر تمہیں عقل ہو (ف۳۳)
26:28 قَالَ لَئِنِ ٱتَّخَذْتَ إِلَٰهًا غَيْرِى لَأَجْعَلَنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمَسْجُونِينَ ٩٢
26:29
Ahmed Ali
(The Pharaoh) said: "If you took another god apart from me I will have you incarcerated."
Shakir
Said he: If you will take a god besides me, I will most certainly make you one of the imprisoned.
Ahmed Raza Khan
بولا اگر تم نے میرے سوا کسی اور کو خدا ٹھہرایا تو میں ضرور تمہیں قید کردوں گا (ف۳۴)
26:29 قَالَ أَوَلَوْ جِئْتُكَ بِشَىْءٍ مُّبِينٍ ٠٣
26:30
Ahmed Ali
(Moses) said: "Even though I have brought to you something convincing?"
Shakir
He said: What! even if I bring to you something manifest?
Ahmed Raza Khan
فرمایا کیا اگرچہ میں تیرے پاس کوئی روشن چیز لاؤں (ف۳۵)
26:30 قَالَ فَأْتِ بِهِۦٓ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ ١٣
26:31
Ahmed Ali
(The Pharaoh) said: "Then bring it, if you speak the truth."
Shakir
Said he: Bring it then, if you are of the truthful ones.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کہا تو لاؤ اگر سچے ہو،
26:31 فَأَلْقَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِىَ ثُعْبَانٌ مُّبِينٌ ٢٣
26:32
Ahmed Ali
So (Moses) cast his staff, and lo, it turned into a living serpent.
Shakir
So he cast down his rod, and lo! it was an obvious serpent,
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو موسیٰ نے اپنا عصا ڈال دیا جبھی وہ صریح اژدہا ہوگیا (ف۳۶)
26:32 وَنَزَعَ يَدَهُۥ فَإِذَا هِىَ بَيْضَآءُ لِلنَّٰظِرِينَ ٣٣
26:33
Ahmed Ali
And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it looked white to the beholders.
Shakir
And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it appeared white to the onlookers.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اپنا ہاتھ (ف۳۷) نکالا تو جبھی وہ دیکھنے والوں کی نگاہ میں جگمگانے لگا (ف۳۸)
26:33 قَالَ لِلْمَلَإِ حَوْلَهُۥٓ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسَٰحِرٌ عَلِيمٌ ٤٣
26:34
Ahmed Ali
The Pharaoh said to the chiefs around him: "He is certainly a clever magician.
Shakir
(Firon) said to the chiefs around him: Most surely this is a skillful magician,
Ahmed Raza Khan
بولا اپنے گرد کے سرداروں سے کہ بیشک یہ دانا جادوگر ہیں،
26:34 يُرِيدُ أَن يُخْرِجَكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِكُم بِسِحْرِهِۦ فَمَاذَا تَأْمُرُونَ ٥٣
26:35
Ahmed Ali
He wants to drive you out of your land by his magic. So, what do you bid?"
Shakir
Who desires to turn you out of your land with his magic; what is it then that you advise?
Ahmed Raza Khan
چاہتے ہیں، کہ تمہیں تمہارے ملک سے نکال دیں اپنے جادو کے زور سے، تب تمہارا کیا مشورہ ہے (ف۳۹)
26:35 قَالُوٓا۟ أَرْجِهْ وَأَخَاهُ وَٱبْعَثْ فِى ٱلْمَدَآئِنِ حَٰشِرِينَ ٦٣
26:36
Ahmed Ali
They said: "Put him and his brother off awhile, and send summoners to the cities to gather
Shakir
They said: Give him and his brother respite and send heralds into the cities
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہ بولے انہیں ان کے بھائی کو ٹھہرائے رہو اور شہروں میں جمع کرنے والے بھیجو،
26:36 يَأْتُوكَ بِكُلِّ سَحَّارٍ عَلِيمٍ ٧٣
26:37
Ahmed Ali
And bring the ablest magicians to you."
Shakir
That they should bring to you every skillful magician.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کہ وہ تیرے پاس لے آئیں ہر بڑے جادوگر دانا کو (ف۴۰)
26:37 فَجُمِعَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ لِمِيقَٰتِ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُومٍ ٨٣
26:38
Ahmed Ali
So the magicians were assembled at a stated time and place on an appointed day.
Shakir
So the magicians were gathered together at the appointed time on the fixed day,
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو جمع کیے گئے جادوگر ایک مقرر دن کے وعدے پر (ف۴۱)
26:38 وَقِيلَ لِلنَّاسِ هَلْ أَنتُم مُّجْتَمِعُونَ ٩٣
26:39
Ahmed Ali
And the people were also asked to assemble.
Shakir
And it was said to the people: Will you gather together?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور لوگوں سے کہا گیا کیا تم جمع ہوگئے (ف۴۲)
