Ahmed Ali
Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right.
Shakir
Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds for t them will Allah bring about love.
Ahmed Raza Khan
بیشک وہ جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کیے عنقریب ان کے لیے رحمن محبت کردے گا (ف۱۵۶)
19:96 فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنذِرَ بِهِۦ قَوْمًا لُّدًّا ٧٩
19:97
Ahmed Ali
So We have made this (Qur´an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious.
Shakir
So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو ہم نے یہ قرآن تمہاری زبان میں یونہی آسان فرمایا کہ تم اس سے ڈر والوں کو خوشخبری دو اور جھگڑالو لوگوں کو اس سے ڈر سناؤ،
19:97 وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْهُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًۢا ٨٩
19:98
Ahmed Ali
How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them?
Shakir
And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور ہم نے ان سے پہلے کتنی سنگتیں کھپائیں (قومیں ہلاک کیں) (ف۱۵۷) کیا تم ان میں کسی کو دیکھتے ہو یا ان کی بھنک (ذرا بھی آواز) سنتے ہو (ف۱۵۸)

طٰهٰ
20:1 مَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِتَشْقَىٰٓ ٢
20:2
Ahmed Ali
We have not sent down the Qur´an to you that you should be burdened,
Shakir
We have not revealed the Quran to you that you may be unsuccessful.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اے محبوب! ہم نے تم پر یہ قرآن اس لیے نہ اتارا کہ مشقت میں پڑو (ف۲)
20:2 إِلَّا تَذْكِرَةً لِّمَن يَخْشَىٰ ٣
20:3
Ahmed Ali
But as admonition for him who fears --
Shakir
Nay, it is a reminder to him who fears:
Ahmed Raza Khan
ہاں اس کو نصیحت جو ڈر رکھتا ہو (ف۳)
20:3 تَنزِيلًا مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ ٱلْعُلَى ٤
20:4
Ahmed Ali
A revelation from Him who created the earth and the high ascending skies,
Shakir
A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اس کا اتارا ہوا جس نے زمین اور اونچے آسمان بنائے،
20:4 ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱسْتَوَىٰ ٥
20:5
Ahmed Ali
The ever-merciful, established on the throne (of authority).
Shakir
The Beneficent Allah is firm in power.
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہ بڑی مہر والا، اس نے عرش پر استواء فرمایا جیسا اس کی شان کے لائق ہے،
20:5 لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَمَا تَحْتَ ٱلثَّرَىٰ ٦
20:6
Ahmed Ali
Whatever is in the heavens and the earth and in between them, belongs to Him, as whatever lies under the earth.
Shakir
His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and what is between them two and what is beneath the ground.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اس کا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں اور جو کچھ ان کے بیچ میں اور جو کچھ اس گیلی مٹی کے نیچے ہے (ف۴)
20:6 وَإِن تَجْهَرْ بِٱلْقَوْلِ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلسِّرَّ وَأَخْفَى ٧
20:7
Ahmed Ali
Whether you say a thing aloud or inaudibly, He has knowledge of the secret and the hidden.
Shakir
And if you utter the saying aloud, then surely He knows the secret, and what is yet more hidden.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اگر تو بات پکار کر کہے تو وہ تو بھید کو جانتا ہے اور اسے جو اس سے بھی زیادہ چھپا ہے (ف۵)
20:7 ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ لَهُ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ٨
20:8
Ahmed Ali
God: There is no god but He. To Him belong the attributes most beautiful.
Shakir
Allah-- there is no god but He; His are the very best names.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اللہ کہ اس کے سوا کسی کی بندگی نہیں، اسی کے ہیں سب اچھے نام (ف۶)
20:8 وَهَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ ٩
20:9
Ahmed Ali
Has the story of Moses come to you?
Shakir
And has the story of Musa come to you?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور کچھ تمہیں موسیٰ کی خبر آئی (ف۷)
20:9 إِذْ رَءَا نَارًا فَقَالَ لِأَهْلِهِ ٱمْكُثُوٓا۟ إِنِّىٓ ءَانَسْتُ نَارًا لَّعَلِّىٓ ءَاتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِقَبَسٍ أَوْ أَجِدُ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ هُدًى ٠١
20:10
Ahmed Ali
When he saw a fire he said to his family: "You wait here. I have seen a fire. I may haply be able to bring an ember from it, or find direction by the fire."
Shakir
When he saw fire, he said to his family: Stop, for surely I see a fire, haply I may bring to you therefrom a live coal or find a guidance at the fire.
Ahmed Raza Khan
جب اس نے ایک آگ دیکھی تو اپنی بی بی سے کہا ٹھہرو مجھے ایک آگ نظر پڑی ہے شاید میں تمہارے لیے اس میں سے کوئی چنگاری لاؤں یا آ گ پر راستہ پاؤں،
20:10 فَلَمَّآ أَتَىٰهَا نُودِىَ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ ١١
20:11
Ahmed Ali
When he approached it, a voice called out:
Shakir
So when he came to it, a voice was uttered: O Musa:
Ahmed Raza Khan
پھر جب آگ کے پاس آیا (ف۸) ندا فرمائی گئی کہ اے موسیٰ،
20:11 إِنِّىٓ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكَ فَٱخْلَعْ نَعْلَيْكَ إِنَّكَ بِٱلْوَادِ ٱلْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى ٢١
20:12
Ahmed Ali
"O Moses, I am verily your Lord, so take off your shoes, for you are in the holy plain of Towa.
Shakir
Surely I am your Lord, therefore put off your shoes; surely you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa,
Ahmed Raza Khan
بیشک میں تیرا رب ہوں تو تو اپنے جوتے اتار ڈال (ف۹) بیشک تو پاک جنگل طویٰ میں ہے (ف۱۰)

I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed to you.

And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed:

اور میں نے تجھے پسند کیا (ف۱۱) اب کان لگا کر سن جو تجھے وحی ہوتی ہے،
20:13 إِنَّنِىٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَٱعْبُدْنِى وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ لِذِكْرِىٓ ٤١
20:14
Ahmed Ali
I am God, and there is no god but I, so serve Me, and observe acts of prayer to remember Me.
Shakir
Surely I am Allah, there is no god but I, therefore serve Me and keep up prayer for My remembrance:
Ahmed Raza Khan
بیشک میں ہی ہوں اللہ کہ میرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں تو میری بندگی کر اور میری یاد کے لیے نماز قائم رکھ (ف۱۲)
20:14 إِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ ءَاتِيَةٌ أَكَادُ أُخْفِيهَا لِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍۭ بِمَا تَسْعَىٰ ٥١
20:15
Ahmed Ali
Verily the Hour (of the great change) is about to come. I keep it secret that every soul may be rewarded for its endeavour.
Shakir
Surely the hour is coming-- I am about to make it manifest-- so that every soul may be rewarded as it strives:
Ahmed Raza Khan
بیشک قیامت آنے والی ہے قریب تھا کہ میں اسے سب سے چھپاؤں (ف۱۳) کہ ہر جان اپنی کوشش کا بدلہ پائے (ف۱۴)
20:15 فَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكَ عَنْهَا مَن لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِهَا وَٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُ فَتَرْدَىٰ ٦١
20:16
Ahmed Ali
So do not let those who do not believe in it and follow their vain desires, turn you away from it.
Shakir
Therefore let not him who believes not in it and follows his low desires turn you away from it so that you should perish;
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو ہرگز تجھے (ف۱۵) اس کے ماننے سے وہ باز نہ رکھے جو اس پر ایمان نہیں لاتا اور اپنی خواہش کےم پیچھے چلا (ف۱۶) پھر تو ہلاک ہوجائے،
20:16 وَمَا تِلْكَ بِيَمِينِكَ يَٰمُوسَىٰ ٧١
20:17
Ahmed Ali
What is that in your right band, O Moses?"
Shakir
And what is this in your right hand, O Musa!
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور یہ تیرے داہنے ہاتھ میں کیا ہے اے موسیٰ (ف۱۷)
20:17 قَالَ هِىَ عَصَاىَ أَتَوَكَّؤُا۟ عَلَيْهَا وَأَهُشُّ بِهَا عَلَىٰ غَنَمِى وَلِىَ فِيهَا مَـَٔارِبُ أُخْرَىٰ ٨١
20:18
Ahmed Ali
"It´s my staff," he answered; "I lean on it, and fell leaves for my goats with it, and I have other uses for it."
Shakir
He said: This is my staff: I recline on it and I beat the leaves with it to make them fall upon my sheep, and I have other uses for it.
Ahmed Raza Khan
عرض کی یہ میرا عصا ہے (ف۱۸) میں اس پر تکیہ لگاتا ہوں اور اس سے اپنی بکریوں پر پتے جھاڑتا ہوں اور میرے اس میں اور کام ہیں (ف۱۹)
20:18 قَالَ أَلْقِهَا يَٰمُوسَىٰ ٩١
20:19
Ahmed Ali
"Throw it down, O Moses," said (the Voice).
Shakir
He said: Cast it down, O Musa!
Ahmed Raza Khan
فرمایا اسے ڈال دے اے موسیٰ،
20:19 فَأَلْقَىٰهَا فَإِذَا هِىَ حَيَّةٌ تَسْعَىٰ ٠٢
20:20
Ahmed Ali
So he threw it down, and lo, it became a running serpent.
Shakir
So he cast it down; and lo! it was a serpent running.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو موسیٰ نے ڈال دیا تو جبھی وہ دوڑتا ہوا سانپ ہوگیا (ف۲۰)
20:20 قَالَ خُذْهَا وَلَا تَخَفْ سَنُعِيدُهَا سِيرَتَهَا ٱلْأُولَىٰ ١٢
20:21
Ahmed Ali
"Catch it," said He, "and have no fear; We shall revert it to its former state.
Shakir
He said: Take hold of it and fear not; We will restore it to its former state:
Ahmed Raza Khan
فرمایا اسے اٹھالے اور ڈر نہیں، اب ہم اسے پھر پہلی طرح کردیں گے (ف۲۱)
20:21 وَٱضْمُمْ يَدَكَ إِلَىٰ جَنَاحِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَآءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوٓءٍ ءَايَةً أُخْرَىٰ ٢٢
20:22
Ahmed Ali
And face what is to come with patience, your hand will not be tarnished with blame: Another sign
Shakir
And press your hand to your side, it shall come out white without evil: another sign:
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اپنا ہاتھ اپنے بازو سے ملا (ف۲۲) خوب سپید نکلے گا بے کسی مرض کے (ف۲۳) ایک اور نشانی (ف۲۴)
20:22 لِنُرِيَكَ مِنْ ءَايَٰتِنَا ٱلْكُبْرَى ٣٢
20:23
Ahmed Ali
That We may go on showing you Our greater signs.
Shakir
That We may show you of Our greater signs:
Ahmed Raza Khan
کہ ہم تجھے اپنی بڑی بڑی نشانیاں دکھائیں،
20:23 ٱذْهَبْ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ ٤٢
20:24
Ahmed Ali
Go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious."
Shakir
Go to Firon, surely he has exceeded all limits.
Ahmed Raza Khan
فرعون کے پاس جا (ف۲۵) اس نے سر اٹھایا (ف۲۶)
20:24 قَالَ رَبِّ ٱشْرَحْ لِى صَدْرِى ٥٢
20:25
Ahmed Ali
Moses said: "O my Lord, enlarge my breast,
Shakir
He said: O my Lord! Expand my breast for me,
Ahmed Raza Khan
عرض کی اے میرے رب میرے لیے میرا سینہ کھول دے (ف۲۷)
20:25 وَيَسِّرْ لِىٓ أَمْرِى ٦٢
20:26
Ahmed Ali
And make my mission easy.
Shakir
And make my affair easy to me,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور میرے لیے میرا کام آسان کر،
20:26 وَٱحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِى ٧٢
20:27
Ahmed Ali
Remove the defect of my tongue
Shakir
And loose the knot from my tongue,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور میری زبان کی گرہ کھول دے، (ف۲۸)
20:27 يَفْقَهُوا۟ قَوْلِى ٨٢
20:28
Ahmed Ali
That they may understand my speech,
Shakir
(That) they may understand my word;
Ahmed Raza Khan
کہ وہ میری بات سمجھیں،
20:28 وَٱجْعَل لِّى وَزِيرًا مِّنْ أَهْلِى ٩٢
20:29
Ahmed Ali
And give me as assistant from my family
Shakir
And give to me an aider from my family:
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور میرے لیے میرے گھر والوں میں سے ایک وزیر کردے، (ف۲۹)
20:29 هَٰرُونَ أَخِى ٠٣
20:30
Ahmed Ali
Aaron my brother
Shakir
Haroun, my brother,
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہ کون میرا بھائی ہارون،
20:30 ٱشْدُدْ بِهِۦٓ أَزْرِى ١٣
20:31
Ahmed Ali
To strengthen me
Shakir
Strengthen my back by him,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اس سے میری کمر مضبوط کر،
20:31 وَأَشْرِكْهُ فِىٓ أَمْرِى ٢٣
20:32
Ahmed Ali
And share my task,
Shakir
And associate him (with me) in my affair,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اسے میرے کام میں شریک کر (ف۳۰)
20:32 كَىْ نُسَبِّحَكَ كَثِيرًا ٣٣
20:33
Ahmed Ali
That we may sing Your praises much,
Shakir
So that we should glorify Thee much,
Ahmed Raza Khan
کہ ہم بکثرت تیری پاکی بولیں،
20:33 وَنَذْكُرَكَ كَثِيرًا ٤٣
20:34
Ahmed Ali
And remember you a great deal.
Shakir
And remember Thee oft.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور بکثرت تیری یاد کریں (ف۳۱)
20:34 إِنَّكَ كُنتَ بِنَا بَصِيرًا ٥٣
20:35
Ahmed Ali
Surely You know us well."
Shakir
Surely, Thou art seeing us.
Ahmed Raza Khan
بیشک تو ہمیں دیکھ رہا ہے (ف۳۲)
20:35 قَالَ قَدْ أُوتِيتَ سُؤْلَكَ يَٰمُوسَىٰ ٦٣
20:36
Ahmed Ali
He answered: "Granted is your prayer, O Moses.
Shakir
He said: You are indeed granted your petition, O Musa
Ahmed Raza Khan
فرمایا اے موسیٰ تیری مانگ تجھے عطا ہوئی،
20:36 وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَيْكَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَىٰٓ ٧٣
20:37
Ahmed Ali
We have bestowed Our favour on you before this
Shakir
And certainly We bestowed on you a favor at another time;
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور بیشک ہم نے (ف۳۳) تجھ پر ایک بار اور احسان فرمایا
