No one will burn in it but the most wretched,

None shall enter it but the most unhappy,

نہ جائے گا اس میں (ف۱۷) مگر بڑا بدبخت،
92:15 ٱلَّذِى كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ ٦١
92:16
Ahmed Ali
Who denied (the truth) and turned away.
Shakir
Who gives the lie (to the truth) and turns (his) back.
Ahmed Raza Khan
جس نے جھٹلایا (ف۱۸) اور منہ پھیرا (ف۱۹)
92:16 وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَتْقَى ٧١
92:17
Ahmed Ali
But save him who fears
Shakir
And away from it shall be kept the one who guards most (against evil),
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور بہت اس سے دور رکھا جائے گا جو سب سے زیادہ پرہیزگار،
92:17 ٱلَّذِى يُؤْتِى مَالَهُۥ يَتَزَكَّىٰ ٨١
92:18
Ahmed Ali
And gives of his wealth that he may grow in virtue,
Shakir
Who gives away his wealth, purifying himself
Ahmed Raza Khan
جو اپنا مال دیتا ہے کہ ستھرا ہو (ف۲۰)
92:18 وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعْمَةٍ تُجْزَىٰٓ ٩١
92:19
Ahmed Ali
And is under no one´s obligation to return his favour,
Shakir
And no one has with him any boon for which he should be rewarded,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور کسی کا اس پر کچھ احسان نہیں جس کا بدلہ دیا جائے (ف۲۱)
92:19 إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ ٠٢
92:20
Ahmed Ali
Other than seeking the glory of his Lord, most high,
Shakir
Except the seeking of the pleasure of his Lord, the Most High.

صرف اپنے رب کی رضا چاہتا ہے جو سب سے بلند ہے،
92:20 وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَىٰ ١٢
92:21
Ahmed Ali
Will surely be gratified.
Shakir
And he shall soon be well-pleased.

اور بیشک قریب ہے کہ وہ راضی ہوگا (ف۲۲)
92:21 سورة الضحى
93:1
Ahmed Ali
I CALL TO witness the early hours of morning,
Shakir
I swear by the early hours of the day,
Ahmed Raza Khan
چاشت کی قسم (ف۲)
93:1 وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ ٢
93:2
Ahmed Ali
And the night when dark and still,
Shakir
And the night when it covers with darkness.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور رات کی جب پردہ ڈالے (ف۳)
93:2 مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ ٣
93:3
Ahmed Ali
Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you.
Shakir
Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased,
Ahmed Raza Khan
کہ تمہیں تمہارے رب نے نہ چھوڑا، اور نہ مکروہ جانا،
93:3 وَلَلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ ٤
93:4
Ahmed Ali
What is to come is better for you than what has gone before;
Shakir
And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور بیشک پچھلی تمہارے لیے پہلی سے بہتر ہے (ف۴)
93:4 وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ ٥
93:5
Ahmed Ali
For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content.
Shakir
And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور بیشک قریب ہے کہ تمہارا رب تمہیں (ف۵) اتنا دے گا کہ تم راضی ہوجاؤ گے (ف۶)
93:5 أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَـَٔاوَىٰ ٦
93:6
Ahmed Ali
Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you?
Shakir
Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter?
Ahmed Raza Khan
کیا اس نے تمہیں یتیم نہ پایا پھر جگہ دی (ف۷)
93:6 وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّا فَهَدَىٰ ٧
93:7
Ahmed Ali
Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way?
Shakir
And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور تمہیں اپنی محبت میں خود رفتہ پایا تو اپنی طرف راہ دی (ف۸)
93:7 وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًا فَأَغْنَىٰ ٨
93:8
Ahmed Ali
Did He not find you poor and enrich you?
Shakir
And find you in want and make you to be free from want?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور تمہیں حاجت مند پایا پھر غنی کردیا (ف۹)
93:8 فَأَمَّا ٱلْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ ٩
93:9
Ahmed Ali
So do not oppress the orphan,
Shakir
Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him).
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو یتیم پر دباؤ نہ ڈالو (ف۱۰)
93:9 وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ ٠١
93:10
Ahmed Ali
And do not drive the beggar away,
Shakir
And as for him who asks, do not chide (him),
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور منگتا کو نہ جھڑکو (ف۱۱)
93:10 وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ ١١
93:11
Ahmed Ali
And keep recounting the favours of your Lord.
Shakir
And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it).

اور اپنے رب کی نعمت کا خوب چرچا کرو (ف۱۲)
93:11 سورة الشرح
94:1
Ahmed Ali
HAVE WE NOT opened up your breast
Shakir
Have We not expanded for you your breast,

کیا ہم نے تمہارا سینہ کشادہ نہ کیا (ف۲)
94:1 وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ ٢
94:2
Ahmed Ali
And removed your burden
Shakir
And taken off from you your burden,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور تم پر سے تمہارا بوجھ اتار لیا،
94:2 ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ ٣
94:3
Ahmed Ali
Which had left you devoid of hope,
Shakir
Which pressed heavily upon your back,
Ahmed Raza Khan
جس نے تمہاری پیٹھ توڑی تھی (ف۳)
94:3 وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ ٤
94:4
Ahmed Ali
And exalted your fame?
Shakir
And exalted for you your esteem?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور ہم نے تمہارے لیے تمہارا ذکر بلند کردیا (ف۴)
94:4 فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ٥
94:5
Ahmed Ali
Surely with hardship there is ease.
Shakir
Surely with difficulty is ease.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو بیشک دشواری کے ساتھ آسانی ہے،
94:5 إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ٦
94:6
Ahmed Ali
With hardship indeed there is ease.
Shakir
With difficulty is surely ease.
Ahmed Raza Khan
بیشک دشواری کے ساتھ آسانی ہے (ف۵)
94:6 فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَٱنصَبْ ٧
94:7
Ahmed Ali
So when you are free work diligently,
Shakir
So when you are free, nominate.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو جب تم نماز سے فارغ ہو تو دعا میں(ف۶) محنت کرو (ف۷)
94:7 وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرْغَب ٨
94:8
Ahmed Ali
And turn to your Lord with all your love.
Shakir
And make your Lord your exclusive object.

اور اپنے رب ہی کی طرف رغبت کرو (ف۸)

I CALL TO witness the Fig and the Olive,
Shakir
I swear by the fig and the olive,

انجیر کی قسم اور زیتون (ف۲)
95:1 وَطُورِ سِينِينَ ٢
95:2
Ahmed Ali
The Mount Sinai,
Shakir
And mount Sinai,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور طور سینا (ف۳)
95:2 وَهَٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ ٣
95:3
Ahmed Ali
And this Soil Secure,
Shakir
And this city made secure,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اس امان والے شہر کی (ف۴)
95:3 لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ ٤
95:4
Ahmed Ali
That We created man of finest possibilities,
Shakir
Certainly We created man in the best make.
Ahmed Raza Khan
بیشک ہم نے آدمی کو اچھی صورت پر بنایا،
95:4 ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ ٥
95:5
Ahmed Ali
Then brought him down to the lowest of the low,
Shakir
Then We render him the lowest of the low.
Ahmed Raza Khan
پھر اسے ہر نیچی سے نیچی حالت کی طرف پھیردیا (ف۵)
95:5 إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ ٦
95:6
Ahmed Ali
Except those who believe and do the right, for whom there is reward undiminished.
Shakir
Except those who believe and do good, so they shall have a reward never to be cut off.
Ahmed Raza Khan
مگر جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کیے کہ انہیں بے حد ثواب ہے (ف۶)
95:6 فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ ٧
95:7
Ahmed Ali
Who should then make you deny the Judgement after this?
Shakir
Then who can give you the lie after (this) about the judgment?
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو اب (ف۷) کیا چیز تجھے انصاف کے جھٹلانے پر باعث ہے (ف۸)
95:7 أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ ٨
95:8
Ahmed Ali
Is not God the most equitable of all judges?
Shakir
Is not Allah the best of the Judges?
Ahmed Raza Khan
کیا اللہ سب حاکموں سے بڑھ کر حاکم نہیں،
95:8 سورة العلق
96:1
Ahmed Ali
READ IN THE name of your Lord who created,
Shakir
Read in the name of your Lord Who created.
Ahmed Raza Khan
پڑھو اپنے رب کے نام سے (ف۲) جس نے پیدا کیا (ف۳)
96:1 خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ ٢
96:2
Ahmed Ali
Created man from an embryo;
Shakir
He created man from a clot.
Ahmed Raza Khan
آدمی کو خون کی پھٹک سے بنایا، پڑھو (ف۴)
96:2 ٱقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ ٱلْأَكْرَمُ ٣
96:3
Ahmed Ali
Read, for your Lord is most beneficent,
Shakir
Read and your Lord is Most Honorable,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور تمہارا رب ہی سب سے بڑا کریم،
96:3 ٱلَّذِى عَلَّمَ بِٱلْقَلَمِ ٤
96:4
Ahmed Ali
Who taught by the pen,
Shakir
Who taught (to write) with the pen
Ahmed Raza Khan
جس نے قلم سے لکھنا سکھایا (ف۵)
96:4 عَلَّمَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ ٥
96:5
Ahmed Ali
Taught man what he did not know.
Shakir
Taught man what he knew not.
Ahmed Raza Khan
آدمی کو سکھایا جو نہ جانتا تھا (ف۶)
96:5 كَلَّآ إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لَيَطْغَىٰٓ ٦
96:6
Ahmed Ali
And yet, but yet man is rebellious,
Shakir
Nay! man is most surely inordinate,
Ahmed Raza Khan
ہاں ہاں بیشک آدمی سرکشی کرتا ہے،
96:6 أَن رَّءَاهُ ٱسْتَغْنَىٰٓ ٧
96:7
Ahmed Ali
For he thinks he is sufficient in himself.
Shakir
Because he sees himself free from want.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اس پر کہ اپنے آپ کو غنی سمجھ لیا (ف۷)
96:7 إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلرُّجْعَىٰٓ ٨
96:8
Ahmed Ali
Surely your returning is to your Lord.
Shakir
Surely to your Lord is the return.
Ahmed Raza Khan
بیشک تمہارے رب ہی کی طرف پھرنا ہے (ف۸)
96:8 أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يَنْهَىٰ ٩
96:9
Ahmed Ali
Have you seen him who restrains
Shakir
Have you seen him who forbids
Ahmed Raza Khan
بھلا دیکھو تو جو منع کرتا ہے،
96:9 عَبْدًا إِذَا صَلَّىٰٓ ٠١
96:10
Ahmed Ali
A votary when he turns to his devotions?
Shakir
A servant when he prays?
Ahmed Raza Khan
بندے کو جب وہ نماز پڑھے (ف۹)
96:10 أَرَءَيْتَ إِن كَانَ عَلَى ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ ١١
96:11
Ahmed Ali
Have you thought, if he had been on guidance
Shakir
Have you considered if he were on the right way,
Ahmed Raza Khan
بھلا دیکھو تو اگر وہ ہدایت پر ہوتا،
96:11 أَوْ أَمَرَ بِٱلتَّقْوَىٰٓ ٢١
96:12
Ahmed Ali
Or had enjoined piety, (it would have been better)?
Shakir
Or enjoined guarding (against evil)?
Ahmed Raza Khan
یا پرہیزگاری بتاتا تو کیا خوب تھا،
96:12 أَرَءَيْتَ إِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ ٣١
96:13
Ahmed Ali
Have you thought that if he denies and turns away,
Shakir
Have you considered if he gives the lie to the truth and turns (his) back?
Ahmed Raza Khan
بھلا دیکھو تو اگر جھٹلایا (ف۱۰) اور منہ پھیرا (ف۱۱)
96:13 أَلَمْ يَعْلَم بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرَىٰ ٤١
96:14
Ahmed Ali
Does he not know that God sees?
Shakir
Does he not know that Allah does see?
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو کیا حال ہوگا کیا نہ جانا (ف۱۲) کہ اللہ دیکھ رہا ہے (ف۱۳)
96:14 كَلَّا لَئِن لَّمْ يَنتَهِ لَنَسْفَعًۢا بِٱلنَّاصِيَةِ ٥١
96:15
Ahmed Ali
And yet indeed if he does not desist We shall drag him by the forelock,
Shakir
Nay! if he desist not, We would certainly smite his forehead,
Ahmed Raza Khan
ہاں ہاں اگر باز نہ آیا (ف۱۴) تو ضرور ہم پیشانی کے بال پکڑ کر کھینچیں گے (ف۱۵)
96:15 نَاصِيَةٍ كَٰذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٍ ٦١
96:16
Ahmed Ali
By the lying, the sinful forelock.
Shakir
A lying, sinful forehead.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کیسی پیشانی جھوٹی خطاکار،
96:16 فَلْيَدْعُ نَادِيَهُۥ ٧١
96:17
Ahmed Ali
So let him call his associates,
Shakir
Then let him summon his council,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اب پکارے اپنی مجلس کو (ف۱۶)
96:17 سَنَدْعُ ٱلزَّبَانِيَةَ ٨١
96:18
Ahmed Ali
We shall call the guards of Hell.
Shakir
We too would summon the braves of the army.
Ahmed Raza Khan
ابھی ہم سپاہیوں کو بلاتے ہیں (ف۱۷)
96:18 كَلَّا لَا تُطِعْهُ وَٱسْجُدْ وَٱقْتَرِب۩ ٩١
96:19
Ahmed Ali
Beware! Do not obey him, but bow in adoration and draw near (to your Lord).
Shakir
Nay! obey him not, and make obeisance and draw nigh (to Allah).

ہاں ہاں، اس کی نہ سنو اور سجدہ کرو (ف۱۸) اور ہم سے قریب ہوجاؤ، (السجدة ۔۱۴)
