سورة التغابن
64:1

ALL THAT THERE is in the heavens and the earth sings the praises of God. His the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He has power over everything.
Shakir
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth declares the glory of Allah; to Him belongs the kingdom, and to Him is due (all) praise, and He has power over all things.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اللہ کی پاکی بولتا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں، اسی کا ملک ہے اور اسی کی تعریف (ف۲) اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے،
64:1 هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ فَمِنكُمْ كَافِرٌ وَمِنكُم مُّؤْمِنٌ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ ٢
64:2
Ahmed Ali
It is He who created you, though one of you is an infidel and one of you a believer; yet God perceives what you do.
Shakir
He it is Who created you, but one of you is an unbeliever and another of you is a believer; and Allah sees what you do.
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہی ہے جس نے تمہیں پیدا کیا تو تم میں کوئی کافر اور تم میں کوئی مسلمان (ف۳) اور اللہ تمہارے کام دیکھ رہا ہے،
64:2 خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَصَوَّرَكُمْ فَأَحْسَنَ صُوَرَكُمْ وَإِلَيْهِ ٱلْمَصِيرُ ٣
64:3
Ahmed Ali
He created the heavens and the earth with deliberation, and gave you form, and shaped you well; and to Him is your returning.
Shakir
He created the heavens and the earth with truth, and He formed you, then made goodly your forms, and to Him is the ultimate resort.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اس نے آسمان اور زمین حق کے ساتھ بنائے اور تمہاری تصویر کی تو تمہاری اچھی صورت بنائی (ف۴) اور اسی کی طرف پھرنا ہے (ف۵)
64:3 يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ ٤
64:4
Ahmed Ali
He knows what is in the heavens and the earth, and knows what you hide and what you disclose; God knows what is in the hearts.
Shakir
He knows what is in the heavens and the earth, and He knows what you hide and what you manifest;and Allah is Cognizant of what is in the hearts.
Ahmed Raza Khan
جانتا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے اور جانتا ہے جو تم چھپاتے اور ظاہر کرتے ہو، اور اللہ دلوں کی بات جانتا ہے،
64:4 أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَؤُا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ فَذَاقُوا۟ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ٥
64:5
Ahmed Ali
Has not the account of those who disbelieved before come to you, who tasted the torment of their action, and for whom is grievous punishment?
Shakir
Has there not come to you the story of those who disbelieved before, then tasted the evil result of their conduct, and they had a painful punishment?
Ahmed Raza Khan
کیا تمہیں (ف۶) ان کی خبر نہ آئی جنہوں نے تم سے پہلے کفر کیا (ف۷) اور اپنے کام کا وبال چکھا (ف۸) اور ان کے لیے دردناک عذاب ہے (ف۹)
64:5 ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُۥ كَانَت تَّأْتِيهِمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَقَالُوٓا۟ أَبَشَرٌ يَهْدُونَنَا فَكَفَرُوا۟ وَتَوَلَّوا۟ وَّٱسْتَغْنَى ٱللَّهُ وَٱللَّهُ غَنِىٌّ حَمِيدٌ ٦
64:6
Ahmed Ali
This was so because their apostles came to them with clear proofs, but they said: "What. Can a mortal show us the way?" And they denied and turned away; but God was unconcerned. God is all-sufficient, worthy of praise.
Shakir
That is because there came to them their messengers with clear arguments, but they said: Shall mortals guide us? So they disbelieved and turned back, and Allah does not stand in need (of anything), and Allah is Self-sufficient, Praised.
Ahmed Raza Khan
یہ اس لیے کہ ان کے پاس ان کے رسول روشن دلیلیں لاتے (ف۱۰) تو بولے، کیا آدمی ہمیں راہ بتائیں گے (ف۱۱) تو کافر ہوئے (ف۱۲) اور پھر گئے (ف۱۳) اور اللہ نے بے نیازی کو کام فرمایا، اور اللہ بے نیاز ہے سب خوبیوں سراہا،
64:6 زَعَمَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَن لَّن يُبْعَثُوا۟ قُلْ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّى لَتُبْعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلْتُمْ وَذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ ٧
64:7
Ahmed Ali
The unbelievers claim that they will not be raised again. Tell them: "Why not? By my Lord, you will certainly be raised again, and then informed of what you had done. That is how the law of God works inevitably."
Shakir
Those who disbelieve think that they shall never be raised. Say: Aye! by my Lord! you shall most certainly be raised, then you shall most certainly be informed of what you did; and that is easy to Allah.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کافروں نے بکا کہ وہ ہرگز نہ اٹھائے جائیں گے، تم فرماؤ کیوں نہیں میرے رب کی قسم تم ضرور اٹھائے جاؤ گے پھر تمہارے کوتک تمہیں جتا دیے جائیں گے، اور یہ اللہ کو آسان ہے،
64:7 فَـَٔامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلنُّورِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلْنَا وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ ٨
64:8
Ahmed Ali
So believe in God, His Apostle and the Light We have sent down. God is well aware of what you do.
Shakir
Therefore believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Light which We have revealed; and Allah is Aware of what you do.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو ایمان لاؤ اللہ اور اس کے رسول اور اس نور پر (ف۱۴) جو ہم نے اتارا، اور اللہ تمہارے کاموں سے خبردار ہے،
64:8 يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُكُمْ لِيَوْمِ ٱلْجَمْعِ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلتَّغَابُنِ وَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ وَيَعْمَلْ صَٰلِحًا يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِۦ وَيُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ ٩
64:9
Ahmed Ali
The day He will gather you together on the Day of Gathering, will be the day of Judgement. He who believed and did the right, will have his evil deeds expunged by God and admitted to gardens with rivers flowing by, and abide there perpetually. This will be the great achievement of success.
Shakir
On the day that He will gather you for the day of gathering, that is the day of loss and gain; and whoever believes in Allah and does good, He will remove from him his evil and cause him to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein forever; that is the great achievement.
Ahmed Raza Khan
جس دن تمہیں اکٹھا کرے گا سب جمع ہونے کے دن (ف۱۵) وہ دن ہے ہار والوں کی ہار کھلنے کا (ف۱۶) اور جو اللہ پر ایمان لائے اور اچھا کام کرے اللہ اس کی برائیاں اتاردے گا اور اسے باغوں میں لے جائے گا جن کے نیچے نہریں بہیں کہ وہ ہمیشہ ان میں رہیں، یہی بڑی کامیابی ہے،
64:9

وَبِئْسَ
ٱلْمَصِيرُ

Those who did not believe and denied Our revelations will be inmates of Hell, where they will abide for ever, and how evil a journey´s end!
Shakir
And (as for) those who disbelieve and reject Our communications, they are the inmates of the fire, to abide therein and evil is the resort.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور جنہوں نے کفر کیا اور ہماری آیتیں جھٹلائیں وہ آگ والے ہیں ہمیشہ اس میں رہیں، اور کیا ہی برا انجام،
64:10 مَآ أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهُۥ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ ١١
64:11
Ahmed Ali
No calamity befalls unless God dispenses. He guides the heart of whosoever believes in God; and God has knowledge of everything.
Shakir
No affliction comes about but by Allah´s permission; and whoever believes in Allah, He guides aright his heart; and Allah is Cognizant of all things.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کوئی مصیبت نہیں پہنچتی (ف۱۷) مگر اللہ کے حکم سے، اور جو اللہ پر ایمان لائے (ف۱۸) اللہ اس کے دل کو ہدایت فرمادے گا (ف۱۹) اور اللہ سب کچھ جانتا ہے،
64:11 وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ فَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَىٰ رَسُولِنَا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ ٢١
64:12
Ahmed Ali
Obey God and obey His Apostle. If you turn away, the duty of the Apostle is to convey the message clearly.
Shakir
And obey Allah and obey the Messenger, but if you turn back, then upon Our Messenger devolves only the clear delivery (of the message).
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور اللہ کا حکم مانو اور رسول کا حکم مانو، پھر اگر تم منہ پھیرو (ف۲۰) تو جان لو کہ ہمارے رسول پر صرف صریح پہنچا دینا ہے (ف۲۱)
64:12 ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ٣١
64:13
Ahmed Ali
God: There is no god but He; and in God should believers place their trust.
Shakir
Allah, there is no god but He; and upon Allah, then, let the believers rely.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اللہ ہے جس کے سوا کسی کی بندگی نہیں اور اللہ ہی پر ایمان والے بھروسہ کریں،
64:13 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَٰجِكُمْ وَأَوْلَٰدِكُمْ عَدُوًّا لَّكُمْ فَٱحْذَرُوهُمْ وَإِن تَعْفُوا۟ وَتَصْفَحُوا۟ وَتَغْفِرُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ٤١
64:14
Ahmed Ali
O believers, some of your spouses and children are your enemies, so beware of them! Yet if you forbear, overlook, and forgive, God is indeed forgiving and kind.
Shakir
O you who believe! surely from among your wives and your children there is an enemy to you; therefore beware of them; and if you pardon and forbear and forgive, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اے ایمان والو تمہاری کچھ بی بیا ں اور بچے تمہارے دشمن ہیں (ف۲۲) تو ان سے احتیاط رکھو (ف۲۳) اور اگر معاف کرو اور درگزرو اور بخش دو تو بیشک اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے،
64:14 إِنَّمَآ أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَأَوْلَٰدُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ وَٱللَّهُ عِندَهُۥٓ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ ٥١
64:15
Ahmed Ali
Your wealth and children are surely meant as trial for you: But with God is the great reward.
Shakir
Your possessions and your children are only a trial, and Allah it is with Whom is a great reward.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تمہارے مال اور تمہارے بچے جانچ ہی ہیں (ف۲۴) اور اللہ کے پاس بڑا ثواب ہے (ف۲۵)
64:15 فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ وَٱسْمَعُوا۟ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ وَأَنفِقُوا۟ خَيْرًا لِّأَنفُسِكُمْ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ ٦١
64:16
Ahmed Ali
So fear God as much as you can, and listen and obey, and spend in charity for your own good. He who is saved from his own avarice will be successful.
Shakir
Therefore be careful of (your duty to) Allah as much as you can, and hear and obey and spend, it is better for your souls; and whoever is saved from the greediness of his soul, these it is that are the successful.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تو اللہ سے ڈرو جہاں تک ہوسکے (ف۲۶) اور فرمان سنو اور حکم مانو (ف۲۷) اور اللہ کی راہ میں خرچ کرو اپنے بھلے کو، اور جو اپنی جان کے لالچ سے بچایا گیا (ف۲۸) تو وہی فلاح پانے والے ہیں،
64:16 إِن تُقْرِضُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا يُضَٰعِفْهُ لَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ وَٱللَّهُ شَكُورٌ حَلِيمٌ ٧١
64:17
Ahmed Ali
If you lend a goodly loan to God, He will double it for you, and forgive you. God knows the worth of good deeds and is clement,
Shakir
If you set apart for Allah a goodly portion, He will double it for you and forgive you; and Allah is the Multiplier (of rewards), Forbearing,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اگر تم اللہ کو اچھا قرض دو گے (ف۲۹) وہ تمہارے لیے اس کے دونے کردے گا اور تمہیں بخش دے گا اور اللہ قدر فرمانے والے حلم والا ہے
64:17 عَٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٨١
64:18
Ahmed Ali
The knower of the unknown and the known, all-mighty and all-wise.
Shakir
The Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Mighty, the Wise.

ہر نہاں اور عیاں کا جاننے والا عزت والا حکمت والا،
