سورة الجمعة
62:1

ALL THAT IS in the heavens and the earth sings the praises of God the King, the Holy, Omnipotent, the Wise.
Shakir
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth declares the glory of Allah, the King, the Holy, the Mighty, the Wise.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اللہ کی پاکی بولتا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے (ف۲) بادشاہ کمال پاکی والا عزت والا حکمت والا،
62:1 هُوَ ٱلَّذِى بَعَثَ فِى ٱلْأُمِّيِّۦنَ رَسُولًا مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَإِن كَانُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ لَفِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ ٢
62:2
Ahmed Ali
It is He who raised among the gentiles an apostle from amongst them, who recites His revelations to them, reforms them and teaches them the Scripture and the Law, for before him they were clearly in error.
Shakir
He it is Who raised among the inhabitants of Mecca an Messenger from among themselves, who recites to them His communications and purifies them, and teaches them the Book and the Wisdom, although they were before certainly in clear error,
Ahmed Raza Khan
وہی ہے جس نے اَن پڑھوں میں انہی میں سے ایک رسول بھیجا (ف۳) کہ ان پر اس کی آیتیں پڑھتے ہیں (ف۴) اور انہیں پاک کرتے ہیں (ف۵) اور انہیں کتاب و حکمت کا علم عطا فرماتے ہیں (ف۶) اور بیشک وہ اس سے پہلے (ف۷) ضرور کھلی گمراہی میں تھے (ف۸)
62:2 وَءَاخَرِينَ مِنْهُمْ لَمَّا يَلْحَقُوا۟ بِهِمْ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٣
62:3
Ahmed Ali
And for others among them who have not joined them yet. He is all-mighty and all-wise.
Shakir
And others from among them who have not yet joined them; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور ان میں سے (ف۹) اوروں کو (ف۱۰) پاک کرتے اور علم عطا فرماتے ہیں، جو ان اگلوں سے نہ ملے (ف۱۱) اور وہی عزت و حکمت والا ہے،
62:3 ذَٰلِكَ فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلْفَضْلِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ ٤
62:4
Ahmed Ali
This is the bounty of God, He gives whosoever He please. God is master of great bounty.
Shakir
That is Allah´s grace; He grants it to whom He pleases, and Allah is the Lord of mighty grace.
Ahmed Raza Khan
یہ اللہ کا فضل ہے جسے چاہے دے، اور اللہ بڑے فضل والا ہے (ف۱۲)
62:4 مَثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ حُمِّلُوا۟ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَحْمِلُوهَا كَمَثَلِ ٱلْحِمَارِ يَحْمِلُ أَسْفَارًۢا بِئْسَ مَثَلُ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ٥
62:5
Ahmed Ali
The likeness of those who were charged with (the law of) the Torah which they did not observe, is that of a donkey who carries a load of books (oblivious of what they contain). How wretched the semblance of the people who deny the words of God! God does not show an unjust people the way.
Shakir
The likeness of those who were charged with the Taurat, then they did not observe it, is as the likeness of the ass bearing books, evil is the likeness of the people who reject the communications of Allah; and Allah does not guide the unjust people.
Ahmed Raza Khan
ان کی مثال جن پر توریت رکھی گئی تھی (ف۱۳) پھر انہوں نے اس کی حکم برداری نہ کی (ف۱۴) گدھے کی مثال ہے جو پیٹھ پر کتابیں اٹھائے (ف۱۵) کیا ہی بری مثال ہے ان لوگوں کی جنہوں نے اللہ کی آیتیں جھٹلائیں، اور اللہ ظالموں کو راہ نہیں دیتا،
62:5 قُلْ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوٓا۟ إِن زَعَمْتُمْ أَنَّكُمْ أَوْلِيَآءُ لِلَّهِ مِن دُونِ ٱلنَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُا۟ ٱلْمَوْتَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ ٦
62:6
Ahmed Ali
Say: "O you Jews, if you claim that you are the favourites of God apart from all men, then wish for death, if you speak the truth.
Shakir
Say: O you who are Jews, if you think that you are the favorites of Allah to the exclusion of other people, then invoke death If you are truthful.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تم فرماؤ اے یہودیو! اگر تمہیں یہ گمان ہے کہ تم اللہ کے دوست ہو اور لوگ نہیں (ف۱۶) تو مرنے کی آرزو کرو (ف۱۷) اگر تم سچے ہو (ف۱۸)
62:6 وَلَا يَتَمَنَّوْنَهُۥٓ أَبَدًۢا بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ٧
62:7
Ahmed Ali
But they will never wish for death because of what they had done in the past, and God knows the sinners well.
Shakir
And they will never invoke it because of what their hands have sent before; and Allah is Cognizant of the unjust.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور وہ کبھی اس کی آرزو نہ کریں گے ان کوتکوں کے سبب جو ان کے ہاتھ آگے بھیج چکے ہیں (ف۱۹) اور اللہ ظالموں کو جانتا ہے،
62:7 قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْمَوْتَ ٱلَّذِى تَفِرُّونَ مِنْهُ فَإِنَّهُۥ مُلَٰقِيكُمْ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَٰلِمِ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ٨
62:8
Ahmed Ali
Tell them: "Death from which you run, will surely come to you. You will then be sent back to Him who knows the unknown and the known, who will tell you what you used to do.
Shakir
Say: (As for) the death from which you flee, that will surely overtake you, then you shall be sent back to the Knower of the unseen and the seen, and He will inform you of that which you did.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تم فرماؤ وہ موت جس سے تم بھاگتے ہو وہ تو ضرور تمہیں ملنی ہے (ف۲۰) پھر اس کی طرف پھیرے جاؤ گے جو چھپا اور ظاہر سب کچھ جانتا ہے پھر وہ تمہیں بتادے گا جو تم نے کیا تھا،
62:8

ٱلَّذِينَ
ءَامَنُوٓا۟
إِذَا
نُودِىَ
لِلصَّلَوٰةِ
مِن
يَوْمِ
ٱلْجُمُعَةِ
فَٱسْعَوْا۟
إِلَىٰ
ذِكْرِ
ٱللَّهِ
وَذَرُوا۟
ٱلْبَيْعَ
ذَٰلِكُمْ
خَيْرٌ
لَّكُمْ
إِن
كُنتُمْ
تَعْلَمُونَ
٩

جَآءَكَ
ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ
قَالُوا۟
نَشْهَدُ
إِنَّكَ
لَرَسُولُ
ٱللَّهِ
وَٱللَّهُ
يَعْلَمُ
إِنَّكَ
لَرَسُولُهُۥ
وَٱللَّهُ
يَشْهَدُ
إِنَّ
ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ
لَكَٰذِبُونَ

Ahmed Ali
O you who believe, when the call to prayer is made on the day of congregation, hasten to remember God, putting aside your business. This is better for you if you can understand.
Shakir
O you who believe! when the call is made for prayer on Friday, then hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave off trading; that is better for you, if you know.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اے ایمان والو جب نماز کی اذان ہو جمعہ کے دن (ف۲۱) تو اللہ کے ذکر کی طرف دوڑو (ف۲۲) اور خرید و فروخت چھوڑ دو (ف۲۳) یہ تمہارے لیے بہتر ہے اگر تم جانو،
62:9 فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةُ فَٱنتَشِرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ٠١
62:10
Ahmed Ali
And when the service of prayer is over spread out in the land, and look for the bounty of God. and remember God a great deal that you may prosper.
Shakir
But when the prayer is ended, then disperse abroad in the land and seek of Allah´s grace, and remember Allah much, that you may be successful.
Ahmed Raza Khan
پھر جب نماز ہوچکے تو زمین میں پھیل جاؤ اور اللہ کا فضل تلاش کرو (ف۲۴) اور اللہ کو بہت یاد کرو اس امید پر کہ فلاح پاؤ،
62:10 وَإِذَا رَأَوْا۟ تِجَٰرَةً أَوْ لَهْوًا ٱنفَضُّوٓا۟ إِلَيْهَا وَتَرَكُوكَ قَآئِمًا قُلْ مَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهْوِ وَمِنَ ٱلتِّجَٰرَةِ وَٱللَّهُ خَيْرُ ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ ١١
62:11
Ahmed Ali
Yet when they see some buying and selling, or some sport, they go for it, leaving you standing. Tell them: "What is with God is better than your sport and commerce. And God is the best of providers."
Shakir
And when they see merchandise or sport they break up for It, and leave you standing. Say: What is with Allah is better than sport and (better) than merchandise, and Allah is the best of Sustainers.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور جب انہوں نے کوئی تجارت یا کھیل دیکھا اس کی طرف چل دیے (ف۲۵) اور تمہیں خطبے میں کھڑا چھوڑ گئے (ف۲۶) تم فرماؤ وہ جو اللہ کے پاس ہے (ف۲۷) کھیل سے اور تجارت سے بہتر ہے، اور اللہ کا رزق سب سے اچھا،
62:11 سورة المنافقون
63:1
Ahmed Ali
WHEN THE HYPOCRITES come to you, they say: "We affirm that you are the Apostle of God." God indeed knows you are His Apostle. God bears witness that the hypocrites are indeed liars.
Shakir
When the hypocrites come to you, they say: We bear witness that you are most surely Allah´s Messenger; and Allah knows that you are most surely His Messenger, and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are surely liars.
Ahmed Raza Khan
جب منافق تمہارے حضور حاضر ہوتے ہیں (ف۲) کہتے ہیں کہ ہم گواہی دیتے ہیں کہ حضور بیشک یقیناً اللہ کے رسول ہیں اور اللہ جانتا ہے کہ تم اس کے رسول ہو، اور اللہ گواہی دیتا ہے کہ منافق ضرور جھوٹے ہیں (ف۳)
63:1 ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ أَيْمَٰنَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُمْ سَآءَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ٢
63:2
Ahmed Ali
They have made their oaths a shield in order to obstruct others from the way of God. It is certainly evil what they do.
Shakir
They make their oaths a shelter, and thus turn away from Allah´s way; surely evil is that which they do.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور انہوں نے اپنی قسموں کو ڈھال ٹھہرالیا (ف۴) تو اللہ کی راہ سے روکا (ف۵) بیشک وہ بہت ہی برے کام کرتے ہیں (ف۶)
63:2 ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا۟ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ ٣
63:3
Ahmed Ali
That is because they came to believe, and then renounced (their faith). So their hearts were sealed; and now they do not understand.
Shakir
That is because they believe, then disbelieve, so a seal is set upon their hearts so that they do not understand.
Ahmed Raza Khan
یہ اس لیے کہ وہ زبان سے ایمان لائے پھر دل سے کافر ہوئے تو ان کے دلوں پر مہر کردی گئی تو اب وہ کچھ نہیں سمجھتے،
63:3 ۞ وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ أَجْسَامُهُمْ وَإِن يَقُولُوا۟ تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ خُشُبٌ مُّسَنَّدَةٌ يَحْسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيْحَةٍ عَلَيْهِمْ هُمُ ٱلْعَدُوُّ فَٱحْذَرْهُمْ قَٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ ٤
63:4
Ahmed Ali
Pleasing seem their persons when you look at them; and when they talk, you listen to their speech. Yet they are like the wooden panelling of a wall. They imagine every rebuke to be directed against them. They are the enemies, beware of them. May God damn them, how pervert are they!
Shakir
And when you see them, their persons will please you, and If they speak, you will listen to their speech; (they are) as if they were big pieces of wood clad with garments; they think every cry to be against them. They are the enemy, therefore beware of them; may Allah destroy them, whence are they turned back?
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور جب تو انہیں دیکھے (ف۷) ان کے جسم تجھے بھلے معلوم ہوں، اور اگر بات کریں تو تُو ان کی بات غور سے سنے (ف۸) گویا وہ کڑیاں ہیں دیوار سے ٹکائی ہوئی (ف۹) ہر بلند آواز اپنے ہی اوپر لے جاتے ہیں (ف۱۰) وہ دشمن ہیں (ف۱۱) تو ان سے بچتے رہو (ف۱۲) اللہ انہیں مارے کہاں اوندھے جاتے ہیں (ف۱۳)
63:4
