سورة سبإ
34:1
Ahmed Ali
ALL PRAISE BE to God to whom belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth, and His the praise in the world to come. He is all-wise and all-knowing.
Shakir
(All) praise is due to Allah, Whose is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, and to Him is due (all) praise in the hereafter; and He is the Wise, the Aware.
Ahmed Raza Khan
سب خوبیاں اللہ کو کہ اسی کا مال ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں (ف۲) اور آخرت میں اسی کی تعریف ہے (ف۳) اور وہی ہے حکمت والا خبردار،
34:1 يَعْلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا وَمَا يَنزِلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا وَهُوَ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٢
34:2
Ahmed Ali
He knows whatever goes into the earth and whatsoever issues from it, whatsoever comes down from the sky, and whatsoever goes up to it. He is all-merciful, all-forgiving.
Shakir
He knows that which goes down into the earth and that which comes out of it, and that which comes down from the heaven and that which goes up to it; and He is the Merciful, the Forgiving.
Ahmed Raza Khan
جانتا ہے جو کچھ زمین میں جاتا ہے (ف۴) اور جو زمین سے نکلتا ہے (ف۵) اور جو آسمان سے اترتا ہے (ف۶) اور جو اس میں چڑھتا ہے (ف۷) اور وہی ہے مہربان بخشنے والا،
34:2 وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَا تَأْتِينَا ٱلسَّاعَةُ قُلْ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّى لَتَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ عَٰلِمِ ٱلْغَيْبِ لَا يَعْزُبُ عَنْهُ مِثْقَالُ ذَرَّةٍ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَآ أَصْغَرُ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَآ أَكْبَرُ إِلَّا فِى كِتَٰبٍ مُّبِينٍ ٣
34:3
Ahmed Ali
The unbelievers say: "There is no coming of the Hour for us." Say: "Why not? By my Lord, the knower of the unknown, it will certainly come for you. Not even an atom´s weight in the heavens and the earth, or something smaller or greater than it, is hidden from Him, and which is not recorded in the all-too-manifest Book,
Shakir
And those who disbelieve say: The hour shall not come upon us. Say: Yea! by my Lord, the Knower of the unseen, it shall certainly come upon you; not the weight of an atom becomes absent from Him, in the heavens or in the earth, and neither less than that nor greater, but (all) is in a clear book

اور کافر بولے ہم پر قیامت نہ آئے گی (ف۸) تم فرماؤ کیوں نہیں میرے رب کی قسم بیشک ضرور آئے گی غیب جاننے والا (ف۹) اس سے غیب نہیں ذرہ بھر کوئی چیز آسمانوں میں اور نہ زمین میں اور نہ اس سے چھوٹی اور نہ بڑی مگر ایک صاف بتانے والی کتاب میں ہے (ف۱۰)
34:3 لِّيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ ٤
34:4
Ahmed Ali
In order that He may recompense those who have believed and done the right. For them will be forgiveness and worthy sustenance.
Shakir
That He may reward those who believe and do good; these it is for whom is forgiveness and an honorable sustenance.
Ahmed Raza Khan
تاکہ صلہ دے انہیں جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کیے یہ ہیں جن کے لیے بخشش ہے اور عزت کی روزی (ف۱۱)
34:4 وَٱلَّذِينَ سَعَوْ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مِّن رِّجْزٍ أَلِيمٌ ٥
34:5
Ahmed Ali
As for those who try to subvert Our signs, there is a punishment of painful torment.
Shakir
And (as for) those who strive hard in opposing Our communications, these it is for whom is a painful chastisement of an evil kind.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور جنہوں نے ہماری آیتوں میں ہرانے کی کوشش کی (ف۱۲) ان کے لیے سخت عذاب دردناک میں سے عذاب ہے،
34:5 وَيَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ هُوَ ٱلْحَقَّ وَيَهْدِىٓ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ ٦
34:6
Ahmed Ali
Those who have been given knowledge realise what has been revealed by the Lord is the truth, and leads to the path of the mighty and praiseworthy (God).
Shakir
And those to whom the knowledge has been given see that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, that is the truth, and it guides into the path of the Mighty, the Praised.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور جنہیں علم والا (ف۱۳) وہ جانتے ہیں کہ جو کچھ تمہاری طرف تمہارے رب کے پاس سے اترا (ف۱۴) وہی حق ہے اور عزت والے سب خوبیوں سراہے کی راہ بتاتا ہے،
34:6 وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ هَلْ نَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍ يُنَبِّئُكُمْ إِذَا مُزِّقْتُمْ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ إِنَّكُمْ لَفِى خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ ٧
34:7
Ahmed Ali
The disbelievers say: "Shall we tell you of a man who prophesies that when you are reduced to particles and vanished in the dust, you will become a new creation
Shakir
And those who disbelieve say: Shall we point out to you a man who informs you that when you are scattered the utmost scattering you shall then be most surely (raised) in (to) a new creation?

اور کافر بولے (ف۱۵) کیا ہم تمہیں ایسا مرد بتادیں (ف۱۶) جو تمہیں خبر دے کہ جب تم پرزہ ہوکر بالکل ریزہ ہوکر بالکل ریزہ ریزہ ہوجاؤ تو پھر تمہیں نیا بَننا ہے،

Ahmed Ali
Has he fabricated a lie about God, or is he possessed?" Not so; but those who believe not in the Hereafter are themselves afflicted and far astray.
Shakir
He has forged a lie against Allah or there is madness in him. Nay! those who do not believe in the hereafter are in torment and in great error.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کیا اللہ پر اس نے جھوٹ باندھا یا اسے سودا ہے (ف۱۷) بلکہ وہ جو آخرت پر ایمان نہیں لاتے (ف۱۸) عذاب اور دور کی گمراہی میں ہیں،
34:8 أَفَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِن نَّشَأْ نَخْسِفْ بِهِمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ أَوْ نُسْقِطْ عَلَيْهِمْ كِسَفًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَةً لِّكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مُّنِيبٍ ٩
34:9
Ahmed Ali
Do they not see what is before them and what is behind them of the heavens and the earth? We could cleave the earth and sink them, if We pleased, or drop a fragment of the sky upon them. There is surely a sign in this for every penitent creature.
Shakir
Do they not then consider what is before them and what is behind them of the heaven and the earth? If We please We will make them disappear in the land or bring down upon them a portion from the heaven; most surely there is a sign in this for every servant turning (to Allah).

تو کیا انہوں نے نہ دیکھا جو ان کے آگے اور پیچھے ہے آسمان اور زمین (ف۱۹) ہم چاہیں تو انہیں (ف۲۰) زمین میں دھنسادیں یا ان پر آسمان کا ٹکڑا گرادیں، بیشک اس (ف۲۱) میں نشانی ہے ہر رجوع لانے والے بندے کے لیے (ف۲۲)
34:9 ۞ وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا دَاوُۥدَ مِنَّا فَضْلًا يَٰجِبَالُ أَوِّبِى مَعَهُۥ وَٱلطَّيْرَ وَأَلَنَّا لَهُ ٱلْحَدِيدَ ٠١
34:10
Ahmed Ali
We favoured David with excellence, (and commanded): "O Jibal and Tair, glorify the greatness of God with him." And We made iron pliable for him.
Shakir
And certainly We gave to Dawood excellence from Us: O mountains! sing praises with him, and the birds; and We made the iron pliant to him,
Ahmed Raza Khan
اور بیشک ہم نے داؤد کو اپنا بڑا فضل دیا (ف۲۳) اے پہاڑو! اس کے ساتھ اللہ کی رجوع کرو اور اے پرندو! (ف۲۴) اور ہم نے اس کے لیے لوہا نرم کیا (ف۲۵)
34:10 أَنِ ٱعْمَلْ سَٰبِغَٰتٍ وَقَدِّرْ فِى ٱلسَّرْدِ وَٱعْمَلُوا۟ صَٰلِحًا إِنِّى بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ ١١
34:11
Ahmed Ali
"Make long coats of mail," (We said), "and fix their links, and do the right. I surely see whatsoever you do."
Shakir
Saying: Make ample (coats of mail), and assign a time to the making of coats of mail and do good; surely I am Seeing what you do.
Ahmed Raza Khan
کہ وسیع زِر ہیں بنا اور بنانے میں اندازے کا لحاظ رکھ (ف۲۶) اور تم سب نیکی کرو، بیشک تمہارے کام دیکھ رہا ہوں،
34:11 وَلِسُلَيْمَٰنَ ٱلرِّيحَ غُدُوُّهَا شَهْرٌ وَرَوَاحُهَا شَهْرٌ وَأَسَلْنَا لَهُۥ عَيْنَ ٱلْقِطْرِ وَمِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ مَن يَعْمَلُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِۦ وَمَن يَزِغْ مِنْهُمْ عَنْ أَمْرِنَا نُذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ ٢١
34:12
Ahmed Ali
We (subjugated) the wind to Solomon. Its morning´s journey took one month, and the evening´s one month. We made a spring of molten brass to flow for him; and many jinns laboured for him by the will of his Lord. Anyone of them who turned from Our command was made to taste the torment of blazing fire.
Shakir
And (We made) the wind (subservient) to Sulaiman, which made a month´s journey in the morning and a month´s journey in the evening, and We made a fountain of molten copper to flow out for him, and of the jinn there were those who worked before him by the command of his Lord; and whoever turned aside from Our command from among them, We made him taste of the punishment of burning.

اور سلیمان کے بس میں ہوا کردی اس کی صبح کی منزل ایک مہینہ کی راہ اور شام کی منزل ایک مہینے کی راہ (ف۲۷) اور ہم نے اس کے لیے پگھلے ہوئے تانبے کا چشمہ بہایا (ف۲۸) اور جنوں میں سے وہ جو اس کے آگے کا م کرتے اس کے رب کے حکم سے (ف۲۹) ادر جو ان میں ہما رے حکم سے پھرے (ف ۳۰) ہم اسے بھڑ کتی آ گ کا عذاب چکھائیں گے،
34:12 يَعْمَلُونَ لَهُۥ مَا يَشَآءُ مِن مَّحَٰرِيبَ وَتَمَٰثِيلَ وَجِفَانٍ كَٱلْجَوَابِ وَقُدُورٍ رَّاسِيَٰتٍ ٱعْمَلُوٓا۟ ءَالَ دَاوُۥدَ شُكْرًا وَقَلِيلٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِىَ ٱلشَّكُورُ ٣١
34:13
Ahmed Ali
They made for him whatever he wished, synagogues and statues, dishes large as water-troughs, and cauldrons firmly fixed (on ovens; and We said): "O House of David, act, and give thanks." But few among My creatures are thankful.
Shakir
They made for him what he pleased of fortresses and images, and bowls (large) as watering-troughs and cooking-pots that will not move from their place; give thanks, O family of Dawood! and very few of My servants are grateful.
Ahmed Raza Khan
اس کے لیے بناتے جو وہ چاہتا اونچے اونچے محل (ف۳۱) اور تصویریں (ف۳۲) اور بڑے حوضوں کے برابر لگن (ف۳۳) اور لنگردار دیگیں (ف۳۴) اے داؤد والو! شکر کرو (ف۳۵) اور میرے بندوں میں کم ہیں شکر والے،
34:13 فَلَمَّا قَضَيْنَا عَلَيْهِ ٱلْمَوْتَ مَا دَلَّهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَوْتِهِۦٓ إِلَّا دَآبَّةُ ٱلْأَرْضِ تَأْكُلُ مِنسَأَتَهُۥ فَلَمَّا خَرَّ تَبَيَّنَتِ ٱلْجِنُّ أَن لَّوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ ٱلْغَيْبَ مَا لَبِثُوا۟ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْمُهِينِ ٤١
34:14
Ahmed Ali
When We ordained (Solomon´s) death, none but the weevil, that was eating away his staff (on which he rested), pointed out to them that he was dead. When he fell down (dead) the jinns realised that if they had knowledge of the Unknown they would never have suffered demeaning labour.
Shakir
But when We decreed death for him, naught showed them his death but a creature of the earth that ate away his staff; and when it fell down, the jinn came to know plainly that if they had known the unseen, they would not have tarried in abasing torment.

پھر جب ہم نے اس پر موت کا حکم بھیجا (ف۳۶) جنوں کو اس کی موت نہ بتائی مگر زمین کی دیمک نے کہ اس کا عصا کھاتی تھی، پھر جب سلیمان زمین پر آیا جِنوں کی حقیقت کھل گئی (ف۳۷) اگر غیب جانتے ہوتے (ف۳۸) تو اس خواری کے عذاب میں نہ ہوتے (ف۳۹)
